It's built backwards, but still great!

The only thing about the sundial that anyone should know is this: you must point this southward instead of northward in order for it to be functional and tell correct time in the northern hemisphere. If you're in the southern, you must point this northward. Otherwise the shadow will run in reverse on the numerals all day. It's backwards... but that doesn't bother me. I just thought I'd put that out there for others! I love this; it's beautiful! Great price as well!

Love the style that this focal point adds to my back yard. I have owned it for several years now and it has held up great to the scorching desert sun, as well as frequent monsoons and rainstorms. The construction is solid and show no signs of aging. The arrow point in a little sharp and poses a slight chance of poking you. I've accidentally poked myself while moving it and it feels very "authentic". You may want to face this away from natural pathways if you have young ones around. Other than that, there's nothing negative I can say about it. The sun dial works ok but I'd still keep time with a real watch as long as I have the option.

This is a beautiful garden addition! Very heavy--won't be blown over. Love the details. Would recommend this to any of my friends.

Smaller than expected but still a handsome piece!!

This armillary is smaller than expected...hard to tell from even the dimensions given in the item details what the true size would be...I guess it's about the size of a basketball but being open work, it doesn't look quite that big...still I liked it very much!...had to find a different spot to put it than the one for which I purchased it but it's a very handsome piece!

Very solid Armillary. Easy to put together with just a screwdriver in minutes. I truly was amazed at the heavy quality and detail for the price.

Sundial

The sundial took about 5 minutes to put together and it definately has a sturdy feel to it. I just got it today and put it in the spot saved for it. The sundial told the correct time and looks good to boot.

It assembled without a hitch and they love it.
