3am Parental Nightmares Cured
Let me tell you a little story about parenthood. parents rejoice when their child is finally able to sleep through the night. i was one of them. it was blissful being able to finally get enough sleep so i didn't look like a drug addict with a coffee mug when picking up the mail. the bags under my eyes became less purple. i was able to speak clearly without having slurred words like a plastered alcoholic. it was a wonderful time for me. my child was hitting all the benchmarks they needed to, and we kept having to up diaper sizes. some a bit early because holy crap, that's a lot of pee for a child that size. that all ended abruptly when my child started waking up in the middle of the night. i chalked it up to night terrors and rolled over after initial checks determined nothing. then came the 2-3am wake ups and my old zombie of a self came spiraling right back into madness. i became a fleshy robot where my body would wake up long enough to change a child's diaper and then pass out again while my brain attempted to boot up. the only problem was that if my brain booted up, then the rest of sleep for that night was shot in the foot with a Luger and the following day would be a fun example of what a zombie apocalypse can be. in desperation, we reached out to relatives asking what to do and one of them sent us a box of these sticky-less hygiene pads. it seemed a bit odd that something that makes the kids diaper look like they've already taken a dump would be enough to allow for a solid night of unconscious adult bliss. guess what, dear reader? it WORKED. sticking one of these in each night before my child goes to bed has allowed a full night of sleep from 8p-6a for them and it feels like heaven. sure, kiddos diaper in the morning looks like they're hiding fiberfill in it for how full it is, but they can sleep through the night and that allows us, the parents, a wonderful night to sleep.

No more nighttime leaks!
Our toddler, who is in a size 6 diaper, started leaking out of every diaper brand at night, even the overnight ones. Mom friends recommended doubling up on the diapers or even putting a 3T pull-up over his diaper at night. Some also recommended cutting out liquids in the evening, as my son is a big water drinker (which I love). Then someone recommended Sposies. So much cheaper than double diapering, not to mention less bulky and more comfortable for my little guy. These pads are very long and fit perfectly within the diaper. We adjust the pad so that it is more so to the front of the diaper with a little bit peeking out of the top. Has worked like a charm! They are super absorbent, and he has not had a leak overnight since using Sposies. I have already recommended these to several Mom friends who have purchased as well!

We have been using them for around three months now and still swear by them and recommend them to anyone with heavy nighttime we
These are the only things that have worked for our (now) 8.5-month-old twins. Apparently our girls get plenty of fluids during the day and wet a lot during the night because we had soaking wet beds (and babies) every morning. We tried everything - double-diapering, next size up diaper, different brands of diapers, maxi pad in the diaper, less liquids at bedtime - these booster pads are the only thing that have worked for our girls. We have been using them for around three months now and still swear by them and recommend them to anyone with heavy nighttime wetters/anyone that will face a prolonged period without being able to change a diaper (i.e. an airplane ride). Regarding placement in a diaper - I have found that if you place the pad securely in the diaper before putting the diaper on (so you have it where you want it) then it is easier. Our babies are pretty wiggly and ready for bed at bedtime, so we do this to make the diapering process quick (and to ensure we don't end up with the pad coming out the back of the diaper and have to redo the diaper). Make sure the pad doesn't peak out the back (or front) of the diaper or you will have leaking as the wetness absorbs upward. When you feel how heavy these things are in the morning and how dry your baby is, you'll thank yourself for purchasing them.

Life savers!
If you have a heavy wetter I would definitely recommend these! My son was already using honest nighttime diapers which have been wonderful but we started to leak. We went up a size, cut fluids at a certain time in the evening etc and still leaking. My son cannot use standard diapers as he developed a contact dermatitis early on with pampers and huggies so we had to be "organic" or cloth. I was nervous about adding these as I didn't want to upset his skin at all but we have been using for a month now and no issues on his skin and no leaks. These have been so wonderful and would definitely recommend. No more wet baby and full crib changes anymore after these.

Nighttime diaper booster
For as long as our son wears diapers, he'll be using this. Without these pads our son can't get through the night without being soaked by morning, no matter what diaper brand we tried. He drinks waaaay too much fluid before bed time, our fault completely, but while we teach him to not drink so much, we're super thankful for these boosters. They go into the diaper in any direction, and are the first line of defense during the night. Now that our son is drinking less, and wearing these, we find him less wet and sleeping better. I can not say for little girls, but for little boys I suggest sliding them more toward the belly button but still inside the diaper, but depending on your diaper brand, be sure to adjust the booster's location so that it is not touching the brim of the diaper where there is little-to-no in diaper absorption layer. if the booster is within touching range of this location, the brim will act as a sponge, and the cloth of the clothes will suck the moister into the baby's clothes. Just make sure the booster is inserted properly, and you'll have no problems. One negative, and not worth taking a star from, these pads are very flexible, a good thing unless your child is very active in bed (jumping around, rolling around, before settling down). We found that they can shift, and ride up, during the settle down period. So we began waiting for him to be in bed and cozy and then doing the final diaper prep and booster insert. Made one heck of a difference.

Finally fixed nighttime leaks!
These are a necessity if you have a night time leaker! My son would wake up every night around midnight with his pajamas soaked with pee. I began setting an alarm so I could wake up and change him but he'd still wake up a few hours later soaked again. I went up a size in diapers but that didn't work. I tried every brand of diaper trying to find the most absorbant but it didn't matter, he'd still wake up wet every night. When I first bought these I just put them straight into his diaper vertically but the second he would pee in them he would wake up and scream because he was uncomfortable. I gave up on these at first because of that. A few more weeks of trying different things led me back to these. I cloth diaper during the day but I never wanted to do it at night because of the ammonia from the urine sitting against his skin all night can cause rashes. But I figured if I put all of the inserts in the cloth diaper it will pull all the ammonia away from his skin, soak up all the urine, and the cloth diaper would wick away moisture so he'd be more comfortable while sleeping. I use a regular cloth diaper insert underneath a regular diaper and then I add two sposies one horizontal in the top part of the cloth diaper and then one vertically down the center. He now sleeps 12 hours a night with no leaks! He has only leaked one time in the last 6 months of using this method which is AMAZING for a baby who woke up drenched in urine twice a night before this. The diapers are pretty hefty but my son sleeps just fine in them and has never been uncomfortable. I added a photo of the size of a normal cloth diaper compared to how they look with the night setup.

Works really, really well!
I have had three very large 99th+ percentile boys who were extremely heavy wetters. I mean, one of them was 6 months old in size 6 diapers. We used to jam the gdiaper disposable inserts into their overnight diapers, which totally worked, but were pretty bulky. These Sposie pads are half the size, maybe smaller, and they work just as well for us. We double them up and put them in the front of the diaper before bed, the kids sleep longer, because they're not peeing through their clothes Every. Single. Night. I sleep longer because no one is waking up in a puddle and I have waaaay less laundry. So yes. I recommend these. 100 percent. Worth every penny.

Excellent for heavy nighttime wetters
What is this sorcery?! How do these little pads hold so much pee?! We have a very heavy wetting 6 month old. I was having to do SO much laundry because he (thankfully - and more sorcery!) has slept through the night (about 11 hours) since he was 6 weeks old, and I'm certain holds in half his pee for the day just to let it go in the middle of the night. They are quite simple to use. Just put them inside the diaper. More to the front for boys and I assume more to the back for girls. One tip, make sure it isn't sticking out the top of the diaper. That'll just be a mess in the morning. I have found that if he decided he wants to wiggle and play in his crib before he finally goes to sleep that the pad seems to be a little disheveled in the morning. No leaks still, but it looks a little beat up. I will continue to purchase and use these until he is out of diapers. We have only used them at night, but I suppose if we were going to be in a situation (long car ride) where leaking may be an issue then I may pop one in for added security. I am by no means advocating skipping regular diaper changes. I'm just saying this will be a nice backup just in case a situation doesn't allow for a change as quickly as you normally would.

The best thing ever
To those that complaining that the crystals burst and irritate their baby's skin - hear me out. My babies (twins) have very sensitive skin, too. To use these, I have to it a step further by opening the back of the Pampers diapers (I use the 12 hour Baby Dry). You can easily peal the two layers apart, then separate the cotton from the back lining (which is the gel lining) and then I stick the Sposie Booster Pads inside, remove the adhesive so it doesn't get in the way of the Pampers gel lining from working and done! I like that the cotton from the diaper keeps the gel from touching my kids' skin, as if it were a regular diaper. I personally haven't tried just the Sposie on top to see if my kids' skin gets irritated, but I don't want to risk it. This helps in my situation, because my babies like to poop right when they wake up and if I don't get to them in time, it turns into a horrible diaper rash within minutes. By absorbing more of the pee, there is less pee for the poop to mix with to make ammonia (which causes a mild chemical burn leading to the diaper rash). These have been amazing! Less bedsheets and clothes to wash because of this. Lord knows I already have enough laundry to do with twins!!

Easy to use. Work perfectly!
We use cloth diapers mostly, but our 5 month old was leaking every single night. Tried extra diaper liners and disposables - still the leaks!! Got these, and I swear we haven’t had a leak since!! We’ve used them in both our cloth diapers in addition to the cloth liner and in disposables (Seventh Generation and Honest Brand) - works equally well in both. If people are having leaks with these, maybe they aren’t getting the whole thing tucked in? If it hangs out at all, it’s going to wick moisture out. My kid pees A LOT, so I’m shocked that these don’t work for everyone! Ha!! Easy to use - just lay it in there! Easy to remove - has a bit of extra material that is longer than the pad, so I grab it by that or just dump it out of the cloth diapers. Obviously, it just tolls up in the disposables to be tossed. Very soft. Love these!!! (Re-stocking right now!) Yes, they look like giant Maxi pads...I don’t see how that’s a reason to take away stars...
