These are excellent for doing dishes

These are excellent for doing dishes. As other reviewers have said, they don't last very long (I usually get about 2 weeks out of each) but they are excellent while they last and they can be thrown in the compost bin when done with them. THAT is the advantage.

Very nice compostable sponges! Hand sewn! Such great quality and totally worth it! I would to update my review as of December 2018 to speak to some of the compaints other users have, yes this sponge wears with vigorous use after about 2 weeks or so, because it’s a biodegrable material, not plastic like most marketed sponges. But it’s reccommended to change your sponges about every 2-3 weeks because of sanitary reasons..so I’m not sure what everyone is so upset about. This is a great product with an even better environmental impact.

Lovely natural sponges, but a bit delicate.

Expensive, the scrubber a tad fragile but as a natural product I’m happy to spend a little extra if it means less plastic in the world.

Just what I was expecting

I love these sponges. They maybe last a bit shorter time than plastic manufactured sponges, but I use these since they are natural and less waste. Love the look. Only downside- they come packaged in plastic...

Perfect function AND eco friendly.

Love these. Perform as well as the sponges I've used for years, but these don't use any dyes, glues, or plastic. Easily cleaned/sterilized in microwave, and they break down when you throw them out. Oh, and no more expensive.

Best sponges ever!

I saw these in TJMaxx when I was searching for a cleaning cloth I had bought pr.eviously and loved. The only thing they had were these white twist sponges and I thought, " A white sponge? How stupid!" I owned a catering company for 17 years and I have washed some dishes in my time. Well, I found true love at the sink that night! They are malleable yet dense and hold your dish soap forever, keeping it creamy and useable without being slippery. I even water my soap down. They do not stain easily at all and the scrubby side is very effective for burned frying pans yet safe for fine glassware , and the white color is 100% better looking than the ugly yellow and green ones at the store.

I love these sponges! They don’t stink after using them. They are easy to clean. They clean my dishes very well. They are very sturdy & have not broken apart. They are a great value & I recommend this product for people looking for a sturdy, eco-friendly sponge!

Sponges gross me out...but!

I can't stand sponges. I think they are nothing but bacteria traps, and although these I'm sure hold some bacteria too, they just feel better, don't get smelly quick and because they are white, you can easily determine the best time to replace. Sometimes you just need a sponge and these so far are the best I've used.

Fantastic for cleaning microfiber couches back to perfection!!! :)

Wonderful Sponges. Very durable. Rinse out super easily. I am using them to gently clean the surface of some older microfiber couches and they were a dream to work with. I needed white to ensure I had cleaned the surface of the couches thoroughly. Sponges rinsed clean with cool water and very little effort. Love these and will be ordering more for other products.

I really like these sponges for my kitchen because they are white. They seem to last but not quite as long as the standard green or blue. They have some machine sewing where they attach the Teflon pad to the sponge which is a little weird but to have a white sponge for the kitchen is worth it to me.
