I was looking for a darker grade of syrup (used to be considered Grade B, now everything is Grade A) for more maple flavor and a little less sweetness to use in recipes - this was perfect.

Very delicious syrup!

Very delicious maple syrup! I have done a couple times maple syrup, lemon and cayenne pepper 10 day fasting and during that time I was trying many different maple syrups. Coombs syrup has the most flavor, very pronounced compared to others. I have been buying this syrup for the past three years.

A tie with Hidden Springs Maple, but different

Tied with Hidden Springs Maple, yet different. A surprise to my experience was the complete balance of sweetness and maple flavor . This syrup may be the choice for those not wanting that maple "edge" to overpower their experience. I don't want to imply that this syrup is mellow, but it is incredibly balanced. The tie with Hidden Springs Maple was given during a simultaneous taste-test between these and Canadian Finest, the three highly ranked competitors for this review.

We're never without it!

We've become addicted to Coombs grade B maple syrup and are serial order-ers, . Living in the southwest, I cannot speak to the science of maple syrup production--just know our taste buds pronounce this to be great-tasting stuff on pancakes. Also, if you enjoy sweetened coffee, try this maple syrup instead of conventional sweeteners. I've found that much less of the maple syrup is needed compared with the honey I formerly used in coffee. The jug stays on the kitchen counter near the coffee pot--just a small amount is perfect, along with a shake of cinnamon, (The syrup hasn't become moldy left at air-conditioned room temperature.) We're never without a jug of Coombs in the house and even put a bit in a flip-top plastic bottle for use when traveling.

The same rich sweetness I remember as a kid

I’ve always wondered why things taste different today as opposed to when I was a child. Is it just part of getting older, or is it due to new additives in the product? Whatever it might be, I found “Coombs Family Farms Maple Syrup, Organic, Grade A, Dark Color” to have the same rich sweetness I remember my maple syrup having as when I was a kid. My pancakes, waffle or French toast have never tasted better.

Yay really good maple syrup

This cost a fortune, but so does all good maple syrup from what I can tell. This is really maple, none of that syrup with maple flavoring and it is actually dark too. Actually for the amount you get the price is pretty ok. Maple syrup is kind of a luxury food so in my way of thinking if I'm spending for it, then it better be good. This is good.

It's the real thing... great tasting syrup

Great maple taste. I'm happy that I finally got my daughter to give up the HFCS type syrup, this is what did the trick. It's runnier than the other kind (careful when pouring it will get away from you) but full of flavor, and I know we are now eating healthier. I will continue to purchase this brand in the future.. love the taste.

Great tasting and no drip cap.

Awesome syrup and a great price compared to the grocery store. I went with the dark and it is quite good. And something so simple but that I think is a huge positive is the “no drip” cap. Flips open and has a little spout with no messy, sticky drips. This is a first for a bottle of syrup that I have had. I think they should actually advertise this as it adds to the positive purchase.

New Favorite Maple Syrup...

Ever since I made the decision to make my own version of "Bullet Proof" coffee I have been on the search for high quality, good tasting Organic, Non-GMO, Grade B maple syrup. Based upon the reviews I decided to give this brand a try. I received it today and instantly put it in my coffee. The flavor is the perfect balance of sweet without being overwhelming. When I compare the price of this product versus my other favorite syrup it is comparable. The fact that I can order this online and have it shipped to my doorstep is a bonus since the other syrup I buy locally requires a drive to purchase. I also like the fact it is in a larger container versus. I would recommend anyone give this a try as I believe you would find it to be in the top 2 or 3 syrups you have purchased. I will buy again. Excellent Maple Syrup

This is my first time purchasing Maple Syrup from Amazon and I'm happy I found this. I was surprised at how "thin" it was (compared to other brands like Mrs. Butterworths). BUT, the taste is phenomenal. The taste is sweet enough for my Cranberry recipe without having to add sugars (or other sweeteners). The price is a little steep. But at this point, I think its worth the price of NOT having extra "toxic" ingredients added. (See above brand listed).
