AquaChek are the best!
AquaChek are the best! I've had all the test kits where you have to pull water out of the pool and add reagents to the water. They are a pain to work with, but the AquaChek test strips eliminate all that hassle and appear to be accurate as well. I've used other strips as well, but always wondered bout the results. AquaChek's color coding and reactions just appear to be more definitive and absolute. I would recommend these to anyone.

Great product for home pools
This stuff is super great and makes testing so easy. Just warning you though, the pool inspector for the hotel I run told me these were not acceptable for use and to buy a larger test kit with the actual chemicals. If you own a home pool or spa this is idea and perfect. I highly recommend. I recommend to use for larger pools also with a larger kit just in case. It gives you accurate readings immediately so you can treat accordingly if needed.

Best Test Strips I've Ever Used
Absolutely the best test strips I've ever used. Easy to use and read the results. Is always accurate when compared to having the water tested at our local pool supply company. A++++++++++

Checks everything I need to check and economically, to boot.
These strips include both free and total chlorine, which I really depend on. I do shock regularly, so they rarely get to be too much different, but when they do, I know I need to take steps to get rid of the chloramines. When they're the same, or close to the same, having them both acts as a confirmation that I'm reading the color correctly. Another aspect of these strips that I really like is the test for cyanuric acid. If the strip says zero cyanuric acid at the beginning of the season, I know I'm probably too low. Now, once you get some more cyanuric acid in there, the strips don't reflect that terribly accurately for a few weeks ( I don't know why, but the pool store guy said it doesn't show up right away) but the chlorine stops disappearing quickly. In the past I've wasted a bunch of money on chlorine, thinking I had a chlorine demand when I really had a lack of cyanuric acid. Chlorine isn't cheap! These strips have helped me determine whether I need to bump the cyanuric acid level up before trying to get the pool shocked and cleaned up after opening.

I think these Work
I think These work, at first I thought they didn’t because my directions on my PH Up bottle and Chlorine bottle for my hot tub said only to use 1 tablespoon each per 500 gallons so i did that and the strips were saying that nothing was added. So then we tripled the chlorine and the PH up and then the sticks finally had a reading. Our water had a greenish tint to it but when we tripled the chlorine and PH up the water was clear again and the sticks had a reading that all was good. So I think my directions for my chlorine and PH up must be off. I don’t know we just bought this hot tub so we’re trying to get used to this whole balancing act with the chemicals.

Good to get the idea of your pool's chemistry, but does not replace having a FAS-DPD kit
About 8 months ago I purchased a house with a pool. I am not new to chemical balancing, but definitely new to chemical balancing on this size! My pool and hot tub are about 19,000 gallons so not overly huge, but not small. The original pool guy used these so I thought this was what I needed. I now have a Taylor 2006C testing kit, but find the strips are helpful when I am at work and the kids want to get in the pool. I can have them dip a strip in and let me know what the readings are to get a ballpark and let them know if I think it's safe enough for them to get in. One of the local pool stores uses them as well when you bring your own water in. I was a little shocked by that, but like I said, gives you a good ballpark.

Glad I gave them a try.....
A LOT easier than the drops. While it doesn't give you an exact # it gets you pretty close in a color code. I took my water in to see how close it was. They said that I needed some acid but everything else was fine. That was exactly what it said looking at the color code comparison on the side of the bottle. If you have a problem reading pastels it may be an issue. I am sure that moisture will not be good for these so I will test a lot more since I will have to get more next year.

Recommended!
Bought this kit because I wanted to know my CYA (cyanuric acid) levels since I use chlorine tablets to sanitize my pool which contain the water conditioner CYA. CYA accumulates and ultimately can prevent your chlorine from working. The chlorine evaporates, but the CYA doesn't and builds up. The only way to rid your pool of too much CYA is the "dilution solution" which means partially draining your pool and replacing with fresh water. Recommended!

I'm very happy with this product with one caveat
FINALLY, a test strip that gives both Total and Free Chlorine! These 2 readings need to be as equal as possible or you may need to shock your pool. Pools need enough Free Chlorine (FC) as that is what fights bacteria and potential algae blooms. (Total Chlorine is a combo of used up chlorine and free chlorine) Most strips and OTC reagent kits only give Total Chlorine (TC) reading which is not helpful at all. I'm very happy with this product with one caveat: the PH reading on the strip reads low compared to my liquid reagent kits & I trust the liquid above these strips and all other strips I've used in the past. Just be aware of that as you could potentially raise your PH if you just rely on these. We keep our in-ground, vinyl lined pool (26K gal) between 7.6 and 7.8 as per the installer & our water is always crystal clear. We also use an auto chlorinator and 3" tri-chlor pucks. I hope this info helps anyone hesitating about these strips. If you want your FC reading, these are great!

I use to clean and maintain pools about 30 pools ...
I use to clean and maintain pools about 30 pools over the span of 4 summers. I have tried to used other products (usually because they are a little cheaper) but I always went back to these AquaChek strips they are the only ones I feel give me a true reading - especially on the pH and Alkalinity levels. I no longer maintain pools professionally, but continue to use these strips for help maintain my own pool.
