So far I've made frozen white russians, milk shakes, frappacinos, lasagna sauce and mole sauce. This blender performs GREAT with everything. Chops ice, blends, purees, I really don't know what else anyone wants from a blender. It is not loud, my old blender was at least three times louder. It has plenty of power. It is a beautiful appliance to the eye as well. The only thing I had trouble with was the lid. I had a problem taking the lid off the first few times I used it, but it loosened up slightly with use and is now easier to take off. I guess it's a good thing to have a snug fitting lid on a blender anyway. Yeah, I think this blender is well worth the $30 I paid.

Totally worth it..

I couldn't ask for more! It does look bigger in the pictures, but as I always say, please check the specs of the product before buying. Not disappointed at all! It is a great product, easy to use, works as described and better! It is worth it if you want to make some smoothies and juices..

Great Blender for the Price!

Holding up great! Often used several times a day with fruit, veggies, and sometimes even nuts. Occasionally have to use spatula if there isn't enough liquid to get contents down to blades. Would definitely buy this one again. Great value!

Great value, works well and lasts long

I bought this back in January it is now almost the end of September and the blendor is used fairly regularly, mainly for smoothies and shakes... and it has given us no problems whatsoever! So pleased! always easy to clean and take apart and very easy to use I was a little concerned at 1st because the price, but this is was such a great buy! Absolutely would buy again.

This was very inexpensive, but it does everything and does it very good. I have gone through blender after blender. This is a sturdy one and it is just the right size. I can put it out of sight and get it out because it fits just right. I have used it for a dozen different things and each time I am delighted at how easy it is to use. Getting more than you pay for

I know what you're expecting from this blender, given the price. Don't be too quick to judge! While this blender is not one of those several-hundred-dollar, fancy-shmancy, pulverize your keys and silverware blenders, it can make some amazing things for you at home! There are two different pulse settings, making chopping more evenly a breeze. The milkshake button makes a smooth shake! Ice crushing is no challenge. No burning motor smells. Super easy clean-up with a self-cleaning button! For the price, this blender really has it all! I love it!

A Good Starter Blender

For the price, I'm not sure it can get any better! I haven't used any other blenders, but basically every blog and recipe site out there will tell you that you simply cannot make a good smoothie if you don't have a big-name $400 blender. Wrong-o. This thing purees frozen fruits and greens just fine. You may have to use a little more liquid than the recipe calls, but I've had no trouble making smooth, creamy, delicious smoothies. Just a hint, banana, avocado, nut butters, and yogurt can thicken up your smoothie a bit to compensate for extra liquid. I've just been throwing random crap in the blender, really, peeping at recipes for ideas. Haven't made a bad one yet. It does struggle a bit with frozen fruits, but I've found that cutting them up into smaller chunks really helps out. I do chop my kale pretty well, but whole spinach leaves and herb sprigs are just fine. Having to chop before blending may bother some, but I don't mind at all. Just don't expect to throw a whole frozen banana in there and it be okay (although a whole room-temp banana does blend!) I think this is the perfect blender to purchase if you want to get your feet wet in smoothie-making without shelling out hundreds of dollars. You really can't beat the price for what you get.

I was concerned because some of these reviews were just horrible. I bought these to make smoothies. I don't use frozen fruit (fresh fruit only-cut up into pieces) and I use small ice cubes, not the big blocks you usually get from ice trays. So far, I've had NO issues with this blender. Blends everything, no chunks and the pouring spout is great. I've also used it few times, and haven't experienced any issues. For the price, it's a good blender.

Worth the price!

I love this blender! I love this blender! I cannot use my food processor because I can't get the lid on correctly. I use this instead. Nice glass jar. Easy marked measurements on the jar. Nice lid. Every thing fits well! I'm enamored of this blender! My food processor will languish and this blender will be my go-to! I made pesto tonight and it worked perfectly.

Very pleased with this inexpensive blender

Very pleased with this inexpensive blender. After 6 months, I've been pleasantly surprised with its blending ability and options. I use it daily for my smoothies which always consist of frozen fruit and greens. If you follow the directions and put your liquids in first, followed by yogurt/etc, and finally frozen on top, it does the trick. Very happy I was able to spend a fraction of the price on a blender that's actually working for me.
