• Universal Design with Four Adjustable Arms: The arms are fully adjustable to fit virtually any projector. By default, the mount comes with longer arms pre attached. However, there are smaller arms also included for smaller mounting patterns. For compact projectors and projectors with extremely small mounting patterns, the arms can be detached and inverted inwards. The arms are also removable for projectors that have less than 4 mounting points.
  • Vaulted Ceiling Plate: The APMEB is designed so it may be used with vaulted ceilings
  • 7" Low Profile and Optional Adjustable Extension Pole: The APMEB is ideal for low profile mounting as well as setups that require an extension pole. The profile is 7" without the extension. With the extension, the profile has an adjustable range of 18.75-27".
  • Safety Cable: Attach the projector to the mount with the metal tether for added security during installation. The cable may also be used as an extra element of security once the projector is mounted.
  • Cable Management: The center of the ceiling plate is stamped out to allow cables to pass through for a clean and sleek cable management system.

This mount did everything i needed it to. It had two different sized arm pieces. The arms are fully adjustable in both length and angle. The mount came with 4 bolts with concrete anchors and 3 different screw sizes to fit multiple projector sizes ( i was able to test with an Optoma HD65 and my recently purchased Optoma W311). For the W311, it took about 5 minutes to get the mount attached to my projector, which includes switching out the arms for the shorter ones and positioning the main connection point to where i wanted it for my setup. Photos show package contents, projector with mount alone and final setup. If you are looking for a fully adjustable projector mount, i would highly recommend this one.

I purchased this mount for my Acer H5380BD Projector. I am very happy with it. The mount initially is set up to be attached to the projector at 4 locations, but my projector had 3, so I took off 2 of the arms and there was an open screw between them to make 3 evenly spaced arms. My projector's intended mounting holes were too close together, so I ended up removing the little adjustable legs and using those holes instead. There is a little piece of plastic that looks like a contact lens that goes in the ball joint - it's important to put it in there so the projector stays locked in one place. I ended up just using the mounting plate and not the included extension arms, but it's nice to have that as an option. As for SPN Performance's customer service, they are amazing! My initial order was missing the hardware - so all the little screws and washers. I sent them an email and the next day got a call from a very nice representative (Emily) saying that they were sending me an entire replacement unit, free of charge, and shipping it 2nd day. In addition to that, they told me I could keep the one I got for replacement parts!! It is so nice to work with a company that puts customer satisfaction first and foremost. So since I had extra parts, I tried mounting my projector both with and without the extension arm which can be seen in the pictures - it was nice to be able to try both ways. The included HDMI cable is nice and long and is a nice bonus as well. Highly recommended product at a great price.

UPDATE: SPN Performance contacted me shortly after I made the review and were incredibly responsive and get receptive regarding the modification I made to improve the mount. I am updating my review to reflect the excellent customer service I received, without even having to ask. Its definitely strong, I weigh ~160lbs and i could probably hang from it if i wanted to, but the lack of good fit and finish means that its somewhat wobbly and requires some modification to hold the projector in place without swinging. When I first put it up the bottom of the mount would swing back and forth at least 1/4" no matter how tight i tried to get it. I had to make a sleeve to fit in between the pipes to keep everything from wobbling as somebody walked by. For $23 however, its a pretty good deal and has the potential to be very sturdy if you don't mind tinkering with it a bit to get it right.

This kit was fantastic! Used it to mount an Epson HomeCinema 500 (also purchased off Amazon) to the ceiling in a bedroom. It worked perfectly! My only suggestion to the manufacturer would be to include toggle bolts. The plastic wall anchors that are included with this kit are ok, but when hanging anything from drywall toggle bolts are a much better option. I got four of them from Home Depot for $2.00 and would recommend that over using plastic screw anchors any day. Hope this helps! EDIT: Wow ...I can't believe the amazing customer service from this seller. They read the above review, called me the very next day (left voicemail) and thanked me for the review and suggestion. They then refunded me $6.00 to cover the toggle bolts (I didn't even ask them to!) This is a fine mount from an outstanding Amazon seller! They really do want you to be 100% satisfied with there product. Thank you!!

It did the job and I cant complain for the price! I mounted a pretty heavy Sony home theater projector to it and it has yet to fall on our heads. We rarely have to readjust the mount and if I trusted my ceiling, I could probably hang from this thing myself. The free HDMI cables are a nice touch. It took a little time to figure out how to get the mounts to fit the holes on the projector. I may have even had to settle with only three mounting points. Its still sturdy enough that you wouldnt know the difference without looking closely at it. Thats the projectors fault. It is definitely easier if you have two people to mount this, but I dont think you need a pro or even a partner with both of their arms to get this thing up. Cheers!

Used this mount to hold up my projector and premier moves in collaboration with the 119" manual projector screen from Amazon. Fantastic setup all together. Actually mounted it to a drop ceiling panel by laying a thicker piece of plywood behind the panel extending over the tracks to dissipate the load weight. Worked perfectly and was a breeze to put together. Actually took me longer to figure out how to flip the image on the projector as my style is used mounted upside down on the mount. Supplied hdmi cord worked great for the beginning setup. Actually ended up using a 100' hdmi cable to run everything to my receiver in another room, works perfect and will use the hdmi this came with for connecting the receiver to the DVD player. Would definitely purchase again as the price is great for a quality item. The cords from the projector feed up through the support to be out of site, quick tip is to run the cables through before mounting to the roof, just makes everything easier.

this projector mount is exactly what we were looking for. we bought a projector to go between our basement and sunroom, this mount didn't quite workout in the basement as we were hoping, we couldn't get the angle quite right but it was due to the room design, not this item. It works perfectly in our sunroom and I'd definitely recommend it! We got exactly what we were expecting and it's heavy, durable and stable. The item arrived quickly and exactly as described. I'd buy from this seller again in a heartbeat. thanks!! description from amazon: Universal Design with Four Adjustable Arms: The arms are fully adjustable to fit virtually any projector. While the product arrived on time, with everything neatly packaged. I was eager to install and be on my way to enjoying movies. My Epson 2030 projector was not as universal as I'd hoped. I had to remove the mounting brackets and install a few shorter ones, which is perfectly fine. The mounting base install was very straight forward and easy, even routing my power and hdmi cable through the mount made for a clean install. The problem came when everything was mounted the extension pole could use an extra bolt in the kit. With the setup there is a major rocking motion of around a 1/4" whenever it's touched, someone runs up our exterior spiral staurs or high winds. This causes the projector to move off center. If an extra bokt was included I could install it and that would take care of the rocking issue. Other than that for a under $30 projector mount, this is very high quality, instructions are great and I give this company and their product 5 stars.

After using a Cheetah TV mount and knowing the quality and ease of use i had with that mount, i decided to try this projector mount. This is a very well made mount and it gives us alot of options if we need to move it and articulate the projector and the versatility it offers with the adjustable extention is great too. A mount of this quality i would expect to cost much more than what we paid. We are very happy with this product and it works as advertised and exceeded our expectations and for that i gave it 5 stars!

I purchased this mount to go with the Optoma HD142X projector and Silver Ticket Products 100 inch screen. The mount is robustly built - metal construction that actually makes it heavier than my projector. The included HDMI cable is also good quality, and saved me some money in building my setup. I installed the mount directly into the ceiling joists using the included lag bolts (which requires pre-drilling). You will save yourself time and energy by using a socket wrench to tighten the lag bolts. Once properly secured into the joists, the mount is quite strong. The most challenging part of installation was figuring out how to attach the projector to the mount. It seems to be primarily made for projectors that are larger than the HD142X, which has 3 mounting holes that are fairly close together. I ended up buying longer screws from Lowe's, and not using the L-shaped "foot brackets". All of the bolts on the mount required a significant amount of tightening. The primary adjustment mechanism for aiming the projector is the ball joint, which provides some flexibility.
