Co-sleeping parents read this!!

We were totally against co sleeping, but due to some things our baby ended up sharing our bed! She is 7 mths and refuses her crib, my husband and I were really wanting our bed back. I tried everything, even the 300$ dock a tot (totally did not work). I decided to buy this and so far it has been amazing. Today she took all three naps in the bed she has refused for 7mths. At night she lasts till about 2am (which is better than all night in our bed). This cover is really comfy and feels just like the memory foam on our bed. We didn't notice any weird odors or anything. We still have a ways to go getting her out of our bed, but this pad has been a game changer!! Would highly recommend to anyone trying to get your bed back!!!

Heaven sent!

My son is 2 and a half and still doesn't sleep through the night. He slept so much better in our bed with a memory foam topper, but he's not easy to share a bed with. Out of desperation and thinking maybe it was his harder toddler mattress, we decided to try this. Right away he sleept so much better! Still wakes if he needs to go potty, but after waking 4-5 times a night 6/7 nights a week, once a night, if that, is like a walk in the park. I definitely recommend this product.

this thing is a savior

I was skeptical about buying this because I always heard to prevent SIDS babies need a hard sleeping surface. But at 8 months old, our daughter would NEVER sleep through the night. She would co-sleep just fine with us and I didn't understand why. Well I did a little test. My daughter would cry as soon as I laid her down in her crib, so I didn't know if she just did not want to be alone or hated her crib. I realized quickly she liked to roll to her side to sleep in bed with me and that she had difficulty sleeping on her side in her crib because of the very tough mattress. So, I put a couple pillows in her crib and laid her down to see if she would cry immediately. She didn't!!! She rolled to her side and actually fell asleep. I woke her up and took the pillows out because I know thats unsafe for a baby to sleep on, but it validated for me that she was just not comfortable enough on that stiff mattress. So, we bought this. Ours did not have a bad smell like other people stated. It had a faint one but really wasn't bad. Now with this in her crib, my daughter routinely sleeps 12 hrs straight. She actually prefers her crib and will not sleep in bed with us anymore. This thing is AMAZING!!!! I wish we had it sooner.

Not too soft, just right.

Update after 2 months of use- I love this! We have a cheap basic crib mattress and this is just enough padding to make it feel more like a real. This memory foam mat is not too soft and does not sink in- making it safe for tummy sleeping infants like my own! Update 2: zero odor after a few days of use. Update: my tummy sleeping almost 8mo slept fine on this mattress without any concern for suffocation- the mattress topper really does not sink in because she is so light (17lbs) the mild odor is barely noticeable with my face pressed against the mattress on the 1st day of use so I have no doubt any and all smell would be completely gone after the first few days. This seems to add just enough cushion to feel more ‘bed’ like without being too soft or dangerous (my infant previous coslept for the first 7mo and had a difficult time adjusting to the crib). I will note this is my 3rd baby, I do use a video baby monitor as well as and Owelet Smart sock and I regularly go into the room to check my infant every few hours (super paranoid mommy). Additional information: Fully inflated within 30mins. This completely Covered my crib mattress without any length issues.

A MUST have for parents.

Love love love this crib topper!! Our 7 month old went from sleeping in 5 hr stretches (at night) to 10 hour stretches. We couldn't be more pleased. It's just like sleeping on any memory foam padding, it allows the child to be cradled in comfort. However, I would not recommend this product for babies under 6 months, or for babies who are not physically strong enough to roll both directions and lift their chest off the bed with their arms. The foam is very much like an adult bed. It's very soft, so please be cautious. With that being said, ever since my child could roll to his tummy at night, he is a total tummy sleeper. I thought this very soft pad would make me nervous (with him sleeping on his tummy), but the foam does not balloon up around him and his head does not sink into the foam. Instead, the foam hold up pretty good in giving him enough room to breathe. Get one as soon as you can and enjoy a good nights sleep mom and dad.

Key to a Sleeping Baby

My 14 month old was having a hard time sleeping in his own crib- we had several months of sleepless nights and couldn't figure out a solution. I purchased this memory foam topper in an effort to make his crib as comfy as I possibly could. The very first night with it, my son slept in his own crib for the full night. A month later, he is still happily sleeping there. The topper is very plush and comfortable, and fit our IKEA crib well. Would definitely recommend this to others!

You can read my original view below. I' just wanted to add that this is a second one we ordered so we didn't need to keep hauling it back-and- forth to the in laws. It is THAT clutch!!! The ONLY time our So. gets up is when he's sick OR when his feeding schedule is off and the. it's only to eat and then goes right back down. 6 stars! (Original post) Only one night in but, wow. WOW!!! Just like everyone, it seems, we had a co-sleeping baby and we converted him to the crib about 2 months ago. (at 6 months) He had slept a few hours and would get up. For the last two months we've been doing the sleep training thing. It's been spotty. I thought that I could find a sheet with a thin layer of memory foam because we had the SIDS concerns as well and I came across this product in my search. Last night, I put him in the crib and he whipped his head around because I don't think he knew where he was at because of the comfort. I could see the confused look on his face. He was co-sleeping on a mattress with a memory foam top made into it. He fell asleep and didn't move an inch. He was sleeping in the same position when I went to bed and I woke up to him cooing about 12 hours later. AMAZING! ...the only thing is, I feel bad about my older son who slept on an even harder mattress. The one we got for our newborn was an upgrade. With the topper it probably feels like he's sleeping on a cloud.

INCREDIBLE MATTRESS PAD-2ND TO NONE!

Incredible!!! Finally he's sleeping in his crib! ALL night too😬He's been sleeping with us since about 2months old, just easier on me with feedings etc...we sleep on a King tempurpedic, I think it spoiled him. He just turned 1year and he will be having a little brother in just 3months so I thought it was time to make the transition. He's not slept in his crib through the night until, THIS mattress pad, it did the trick!!! He would toss and turn on his regular mattress, until I came and rescued him. We added this pad and now he not only sleeps through the night, he sleeps IN!!! And so does this mom, finally! LOVE this mattress pad, it's been life changing! 👍😬

Baby finally stay asleep in crib.

I was worried based on everyones reviews of the toxic smell etc. When I got the mattress there were instructions that said it would be a strong odor due to being vacuume sealed. They were right. There was a really awful, beyond strong smell that smelled up a whole room. I took it out of the mattress pad and I aired it out in an unoccupied room. Each day I would go in and snift the mattress to see if the smell was dissipating and it was. After about 5 days I put the cover back on and pressed my face into the mattress and took a big inhale, but no smell at all. My baby would wake up after 10 to 30 minutes in crib before. I guess her matress was just too firm.. Now she sleeps a lot better. It was so worth the purchase.

My toddler finally sleeps in her crib now!!!

This Foam Mattress Topper is a game changer! I've co-slept since around 8 months. Trying to transition our toddler back into her crib since we moved has been a nightmare. She refused to sleep in her crib and would toss and turn and cry until we bought THIS! We bought the sleep easy solution book, this foam mattress topper, and moved her crib to our room. Then we transitioned the crib into a toddler bed and added this 2" Topper. From day one, she (18 months old) laid down in her toddler bed like a big girl and has gone to bed in her big girl bed ever since. I even lay down next to her and have fallen asleep myself because it's more comfortable then our own mattress. Since it's on the softer side, I do not recommend this for infants as they need a firm sleep surface for safety reasons. However, once our toddler seemed like she could handle a small toddler pillow, we felt she was ready for a softer mattress. We also bought the American Baby Company Heavenly Soft Chenille Crib Sheet and it fits over the mattress plus this foam mattress Topper and this combo made all the difference for our daughter. The mattress topper comes rolled up inside a plastic sleeve, inside a box. Upon opening, I didn't smell anything. Once I pressed my face into the mattress topper, I could then smell a slight odor. I unrolled the Topper and let it "air out" for a day. The smell was completely gone and we put it on top of the mattress at that point. Overall, I highly recommend this mattress topper for any toddler who is ready for a softer, more comfortable bed. I've included pictures of my 18 month old standing on top of the foam mattress topper over her crib mattress to show the amount of "give" and softness of this topper.
