I gave this to my sons’ first grade teacher. She was very pleased with how accurate and easy to use it is. The kids really liked using it for lessons and for free time. The dual analog/digital capability is super handy and helps the kids naturally learn both methods and practice with numbers. This is easily stored and handily slips inside the bucket of the scale. Good design.

Comes With The Tray, Good Basic Choice

This is a good basic scale. I am using it as a kitchen scale but will use it for other needs that arise if necessary. The tray that comes with it is large enough to hold many items and the scale itself is a little larger than expected. I like that because I can see it well and don't have to go put on reading glasses to read the results. If you don't want to spend a lot on a multi use scale and don't want a tiny one that is too flimsy and can't hold any kind of tray, this is a good choice.

Simple and Easy to Use

It's a simple scale that is easy to use. It does both standard and metric. This makes it very convenient. I sometimes like to make European recipes and translate them into English and convert the measurements into standard measurements from metric. This makes it incredibly easy. I used it recently for a Beof Borgnon recipe I had retrieved from a German magazine. It was great. The scale easily zeros itself with the help of a little nob in case you need a bigger bowl for measurement than the one it comes with.

Great inexpensive little scale

This is a nice, cheap little old-school scale. Takes up nearly no space, and gives you a quick estimate on weight. If you are looking for something more contemporary and super-accurate, of course this isn't going to be what you want. It looks and acts exactly like the scale you would have seen in my grandparents kitchen in 1970. And you know what? That's perfectly fine! That old scale got the job done, and so does this inexpensive little item.

Great for class measurements

This is an excellent educational tool for math and science in and classroom or home school environment. It is easy to use and had a large capacity container that sits on top or underneath for storage.

Great Kitchen Scale!

This is an awesome analog scale that shows pounds and metric. I think this is especially great because I am trying to teach my children both metric and pounds/standard. The removable pan is easy to clean in case you use something that is messy. We used some orbeez water beads to see the weight in them before and after adding water as a project and it was pretty interesting to see how much weight they can hold. This is pretty much all plastic but quiet sturdy. I am surprised at how well made it is. The dial on it can be adjusted in case it does not zero back out or if you choose to use a different pan or line it with a clear wrap prior to adding food for measuring. I am honestly excited to use this while cooking as I used to have to convert recipes over from metric to standard which is quiet difficult to be honest.

A great scale for the money

The scale works well. It is fully adjustable and comes up with the same weights as my more pricey scale that I’ve been using for years. It also comes with the handy tray, that my pricier one didn’t I’m happy to have this one, because my old one is starting to look a bit worn. It’s not for scientific measurements, no kitchen scales are, but for cooking it is perfect.
