This fits my needs perfectly. The metal pieces were in perfect condition and are made well. The only pieces that annoy me are the side plastic trays that don't want to sit right, but it's a minor issue, and the trays serve their purpose just fine. It took me less than an hour to assemble and was very straight forward. I did it by myself no problem. Due to someone else's review I bought LED strips to see if I could help use it for tracing. This table was worth every penny ! So far I have no other complaints. If anything changes I'll update.

Excellent packaging, install level of difficulty is rated 5 out of 10. Instructions do take a bit to follow but overall a great experience and no frustration putting it together. After looking at many table reviews online and looking at some tables at Hobby Lobby, this is by far the better value for your money. After the table is put together is not flimsy at all.

Great design! I'm a CAD designer in sheet metal on my day job and I was very impressed with the fit-up of the assembly. All the bolt holes lined up and were the correct sizes. The drawer kit and slider drawer also went together with ease (which is a rarity). The robot welds were superb quality and I did not find the glass to be thin at all! All the necessary hardware was there in a handy plastic/cardboard pack that had everything separated nicely. It came with it's own assembly tool; so, no need to break out the alan wrenches and screw driver! I added a couple of strips of adhesive 12v LED lights to each side of the center brace and VIOLA; it transformed into the best light board I've ever seen!!! There is, however, a problem with the isometric drawing on second page of the instructions. The legs are obviously not mated to the center and top in the model, and are shown from the back side while the center remains viewed from the front... For anybody that is putting this thing together and is not mechanically inclined, follow the orientation on the first page in regard to the position of the legs and front/back/center braces and you should be good-to-go. Overall, I LOVE my new table! Even with the one bad drawing, I'm so thrilled on the whole with the result in design and quality that I give it five stars!

Easily one of my best art purchases ever. I was shopping for a light box but was put off by how expensive they are. I found this gem and reviews from other users who used LED light strips to create the light and voilá! A makeshift light-box that can double as a drawing table! UPDATE: The LED lights were ok for very thin or lightweight paper but did not work so well for tracing on heavy weight paper so I stuck a lamp under the desk with a 100 wat bulb and that works better. Here is the link to the LED lights I used (for tracing paper and light weight paper): LED Strip Lights 16.4ft x 2 Rolls 5050 RGB Color Changing Lights Waterproof Flexible Tape 300 LEDs Light 32.8ft Strips Kit with IR Remote Controller Power Kit for Home Bedroom Kitchen DIY Decoration https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0894L1YBQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabc_t1aYFb4DTFM8P?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

I like the black glass version because I craft jewelry and the dark background really makes the materials I work with stand out. The addition of the drawers (I placed mine on the right side), is excellent because I can keep the tools and items I use frequently within arm's reach. I sometimes use the drawer to catch any chainmail rings or beads that happen to fall as I work (I pull it out half ways). I tilt the top up (you have several choices of 'tilt' (degrees I guess to be more accurate)) when I need to sketch a design on paper. Moreover, it is modern looking and very professional. The only negative I have concerns the instruction/assembly manual. There are things they don't mention that you should know, like proper placement of the pieces as you install this desk. The pictures only help a little. Several times, I had to backtrack and start over. I even had to stop and think how to properly place the piece I was installing so as to get the holes to line up for the screws in the following step. So, before you tighten any screws, it is best to look at the next step and make sure that those pieces will install correctly. Moreover, not all the hardware was labeled properly. For example, the instructions said to use screw 32 but in the blister package there are three different screws labeled 32! You just have to try each one to see which one fits correctly. You don't need additional hardware, but I found using my own set of flat and phillips screwdrivers, and small adjustable wrench, was far better than using the tools provided (again, not labeled correctly). As much as I wanted to, I do not recommend using a cordless drill with screw driver and hex attachments as I fear you may inadvertently overtighten the screws, and mar the heads of the screws as well. Overall though, I am very satisfied with the finished product and am glad I purchased it. Plus, I purchased the Studio Designs LED swing arm lamp, in black to match, that fits securely and provides adequate lighting (the colors show nicely). It does cost a little more than others on Amazon, but rest assured, you will have no problems/complaints with using it.

Since purchasing this item, my son has used this desk for his charcoal drawings. It has held up for the few months we have had the desk. I am hesitant to allow him to use his computer on it as the computer may scratch the glass. Unlike other reviews I've read on this desk that indicate glass was broken on arrival, it was not the case here. However, the functionality of the desk makes it easy for him to store his shading pencils and other art related items.

I was going to purchase a wooden drafting table after purchasing this glass one, because I wanted a parallel bar so badly., but this table actually turned out really good. I eventually got the hang of using a T-square ruler instead so much that I prefer it this way now because of how much it keeps my paper clean Lol. So far, it has helped me get ahead of my projects instead of waiting to go back to school to do all my drafting & im excited to get better at drawing elevations, etc. No damages when delivered. Might need help when putting the glass on top of table, but I did everything myself, and I’m 97lbs 5’4. Lol

Very pleased with this purchase. My daughter is absolutely happy with this table. The quality is better than expected, it’s certainly a solid item. The assembly was easy for me but I did need some assistance when placing the top glass on the desk... it’s heavy. I do recommend the glass top, there is the option to place a light under the glass for tracing or use the glass for your paint pallet with an easy clean up when complete. I definitely recommend this desk.

This table was exactly what I needed. Overall it’s quite sturdy and the glass table top is great. In general the mechanics of the tilt feel like it will last and there’s no problems with having it stay at the angle you choose. There’s quite a few options when it comes to the trays and drawers but all in all you shouldn’t be counting on those alone to house all of your supplies. Everything is very small and shallow. The instructions were clear and putting it together didn’t take long.

This table is beautiful. The design is nice and sleek, it’s a great size, and has lots of places to hold you supplies while you work. The price is fantastic for what you get. I do wish the drawers were a little bigger, but it’s no big deal to me. Also, assembly is a little tricky. My dad has years of experience assembling stuff, it’s basically one of his jobs, and it took him a while to assemble everything. Overall though I’m very happy with my table!
