Love these - have had them for 8 years!
I wish I could give these 10 stars! They are versatile, durable and wonderful. The sizes are perfect - especially if you add the smaller ones. They are so handy with children - they are often dropped on our wood floor and rarely break! I left one on the back of our car - drive 2 miles and it fell on the way. After realizing it I drove the same route - it was on the side of the road - in perfect condition. For the few that have broken - they are easy to replace! Can buy individual glasses or smaller sets. Have had these for 8 years. Cannot say enough great things!

My 3 year old twins and 5 year old use these easily. The small size is perfect for childrens glasses
We switched to these tempered glass drinking glasses in an effort to reduce our plastic use. My 3 year old twins and 5 year old use these easily. The small size is perfect for childrens glasses. We have broken two but one was thrown into a sink (like they used to toss in their plastic cups) and th other was dropped onto the side of the dishwasher. The rest have held up to daily use and being knocked without issue. Very pleased.

This is the equivalent of crystal for me.
I have rheumatoid arthritis and drop everything I can and some things I shouldn’t. Even though they are made of glass, These are pretty much invincible. Duralex = the new baccarat in my household. My all purpose drinking thingy - I use it without apology for wine, champagne, milk, water, juice, etc, etc.

Sturdy, good-looking classics
I bought a set of 3 different size Picardie glasses to go with my much-loved 40-year old, 10-1/2 oz Picardie glasses. Why didn't I do this 38 years ago? Well, no Amazon back then & all I could find was the one size. The set is a good variety of sizes & could easily be the only glasses you'd need in a kitchen. Note that the sizes given are measured up to the top of the glass rim, thus the 8-3/4 oz glass serves approximately 6 oz, etc. I've had both hot & cold beverages in my Duralex over the years, have never taken any particular pains with how I've washed & stored them, & they still look good, though there's an obvious difference between the old ones & the new. But even my teenagers, who somehow managed to break a 2-cup pyrex glass measuring cup, were never able to break my Duralex. There's a reason these glasses are a classic: attractive & virtually unbreakable in daily life, they're as close to perfect as you'll get in drinking glasses.

Wonderful French Glassware
We initially purchased a set of these glasses for our home and loved them. The French Cafe design is attractive and the glasses are remarkably rugged. Although I don’t recommend doing this, I accidentally knocked a small glass off our kitchen counter onto a ceramic tile floor, the glass BOUNCED and did NOT break, amazing ! We have since purchased an additional set for our summer rental house and have not experienced a single break. I highly recommend these good looking and ergonomically comfortable glasses. I’m a bit baffled at the few negative reviews which I luckily ignored.

Love these glasses
Love these glasses. We seem to go through glassware like most people go through paper plates. I finally decided to give in to these pricey glasses and couldn't be happier!! Not a single glass broken or chipped and the come out of the washer crystal clear!!! A+ product!!

Durable, nice to look at, easy to drink from
We got these to replace our more delicate glasses that break in the dishwasher. These are great to look at, low maintenance, and have this cool unexpected lip at the end that makes it really easy to drink from. The glasses can go on the lower rack of the dishwasher no problem. After going through a set of Kate Spade Deco Dots in a year and a set of Libbey HIghballs over 2, I wish we had just started off with these as they are clearly going to last for years and years. I don't think we're even that hard on our china, but little drops and mistakes happen, and these look like they can really withstand them. It fits with both our everyday and fine china sets, and guests like them. The set has a small juice glass, the medium glass can hold a 12oz soda fine, and the large glass is great for water. Very impressed.

The best everyday glasses
My house has brick floors and stone countertops, so glassware and dishes have a hard life getting banged around these surfaces. Originally designed for restaurant use in France, these glasses are made of safety glass so they never chip and when they do break, it's in chunks not shards. Strong, durable and attractive, they last forever.

Love these glasses
This is my second set of these glasses. My first set has been in use in my RV for 7 years. Never had a problem with breakage. The new set I bought a month ago was for our house. Three sizes of glasses provides options for when you grab a glass. I like the way you can stack these glasses to take up less space. They are stable on the table, not easily turned over. I highly recommend.

LOVE these glasses
I love these glasses because they're a classic French Cafe design, they nest, they are tempered and can go from ice water to boiled water without even a worry of shattering, are reasonably priced and come in several convenient sizes including a small set which nest in the top of their own water/wine/whatever carafe. The Duralex company is a very old company which perfected the process of glass tempering in France after WWII: if you have a Duralex set from the 1950's they're likely still in one piece to this day, although probably scratched a bit, because these are some of the toughest glasses I've ever used so I finally broke down and put together a set as a gift to our house. I recommend them to any person who likes old school, solid, "approved -by-Martha Stewart-type" kitchen stuff that just works well. It's a good thing. ;-) The Marine color is sharper and bluer than the picture above: the picture does the color no justice. My only complaint is I wish the larger sizes were more widely available in the Marine and Amber colors.
