Nice and bright!

I modified the kit a little and ran the wires from the tongue all the way to the rear lights with no junction at the "Y". I also ran the ground wire to the center of the utility trailer at the "Y" instead of grounding it at the tongue. I still had enough wire to run up the side channels to the side marker lights and ground each one of them locally. After I buttoned it all up... nothing. No lights worked at all. I then bought a new truck connector end instead of splicing in my original one. This seemed to partially work at first and then stopped working entirely again. I then decided to run a ground wire from the "Y" in the frame to one of the rear lights. This worked great and then stopped working, yet again. What the problem wound up being is the female connector on my truck is worn out and I had to play with the new one to get it to connect.

GOOD LIGHTS BUT PREPARE TO GET YOUR OWN HARDWARE.

Awesome kit. I was really impressed with the quality of the lights. I looked at similar light sets at Walmart and other stores but the value didn't compare to this kit. The only negatives is the electrical hardware isn't very good. I would have rather paid a few extra bucks to get some better electrical connectors, the side markers wont light up and I think is because the plastic connectors are no good and are not making enough contact. Had to make a few quick trips to the local hardware store to get a few things but for the money I feel I saved it was worth it.

Excellent price for quality

Contrary to other reviews the unit I got has fixed all of the complaints. The side markers are LED. Good quality wires. It doesn't state that it is waterproof but it sure looks like it is. I took the unit apart because I was going to seal it with silicone but realized I didn't need to because all the components are embedded in some kind of epoxy and should be waterproof.

So Nice, We Bought Them Twice.

Purchased these lights because my husband was tired of his older lights flickering when he hit a bump or what not. Read a bunch of reviews and viewed a bunch of products. We decided on these. Seemed like a nice kit for the price. Got the box, everything came as it said it would. Was easy to install on the truck and trailer and they have been working great ever since. So it was only natural that when we purchased a second trailer, we came right back here and clicked ORDER AGAIN. They came again, just as they should, installed nicely and have been working ever since. Would definitely recommend this product. Wouldn't hesitate to order again. (which I did)

Easy peasy

I bought this item and the" Partsam Red Clearance ID BAR Marker Light 3 Light 9 LED Trailer Sealed Stainless Steel" I rewired my whole fishing boat trailer on a whim. It went flawless, even though as i was plugging it in I said, "Something is not going to work" Well everything went flawless. If I ever have to replace a set of lights again this is where I am coming. I'll tell you what, going from regular lights to LED is a huge improvement. you will love these lights. The price was awesome also.

Great for the price!

Took me about 2 hours to install. Did a proper install like the manufacturer when running the cables. Pretty seem less install and detailed instructions. Make sure you properly ground each light fixture. If it's not working and your sure your hooked it up check the grounding first! So far so good. Lights are bright and working as described. Can't go wrong with the price either! Disregard the comments about the wiring turning into powder. Haven't experienced that.

MaxxHaul Trailer Light Kit

This is the second set of these light kits I have ordered and installed now, and this is a very nice set of lights, and it comes with everything you need to install them and hook them up. I didn't care much for the 3M style wire connectors supplied. so I opted to use heat-shrink butt splices instead to join the wires together, but other than that, this is a quality set of lights, especially for the price, and they are very bright. It's too early to say yet on how long they will last, but they appear to be very well made. One other thing I didn't like was the license plate hanger because it is made of plastic, and I suspect this would break pretty easily. Nonetheless, it was nice that one was supplied with the kit. All lights are LED including the side marker lights in the tail lights, and the yellow side marker lights. Buy with confidence as I don't think you will be disappointed in this trailer lighting kit.

Bargain Price

Work great (as advertised) The price / value is a bargain (even without the wiring kit) These lights are plenty bright. Replaced my old (OEM) trailer lights with these, I was tired of messing with the old 1157 bulbs. Some reviews state the wiring breaks down, all wiring on my trailer is inside conduit (not exposed to sunlight). I used some of the "new wire" (in the kit) for the amber marker lights (Leds) we'll see how it performs over time, it too is in conduit.

ViViD Can't miss them & that's the whole Point, to be seen

If your trailer needs to be seen then this is the product for you. Easy to install and of good quality & craftsmanship. Packaged with everything necessary for a complete install. I took my old 5'x10' utility trailer out at night after installation and I was so impressed I drove further than I had intended. I highly recommend this product & the affordability of them delivered to my door, awesome. Trailer lighting is required most everywhere I know so for safety's sake please don't spend too much time looking in the mirror at the vivid trail.

Fantastic product at a fraction of the cost

I bought these to replace lights on our Pop-up camper and was surprised at the quality. These are easily half the price of the set I was looking at from a chain store that I wont name (although I will say they have lots of Supply for Tractors) and I feel are just as good quality...if not better. Installation was pretty straightforward, anyone with minimum experience in electrical will be fine, but the directions are laid out for the lay man. Overall i am very happy with the product...will return for future projects.
