The bag is worth the price
I bought this product several years ago and is still holding up nice and strong with no visible signs of wear and tear. With computer/work bags I wholly believe you get what you pay for. I’ve had cheaper bags in the past that frayed, broke, or the zipper completely split, and this one has yet to do that.

Beautiful Bag
It's been a year now since I got this for my husband last Christmas. He still brings it to work everyday, it shows nearly no wear from use (taking it to and from the office daily). He has had many compliments on it. It fits his laptop perfectly and has more than enough room for the few other things he needs (He is a minimalist so that isn't much). He loves the buckle look - although the closure is much simpler than a buckle. The leather is soft and genuine - so on the one I purchased there were some imperfections on it - which only added to it's charm.

Great bag
I love this messenger bag. It looks great, very professional looking, and is very well constructed. I have owned this bag for a little over a year now and it has held up very well. I carry a lot of stuff around with me and this bag handles the weight very well. I have a separate bag that I use for my 17" laptop but in here I carry a lot of files, my glasses, journal, a ton of pens, business cards, a large book or binder every now and again, and it carries all that with ease. For those that complained that this bag doesn't carry much, I would suggest getting one of those small rolling suitcases. Short of needing that I believe that this bag would suit most people pretty well and it looks very stylish. The one additional thing that I like about this bag is that the strap is attached so that the weight is distributed in the center of the bag thus taking the pressure off of the buckles that keep the flap closed. My last bag was a true "flap-over" design and with the weight that I carry around it constantly put tension on the buckles that keep the flap closed. Once those gave way the bag was useless. With this bag there is almost no tension on the buckles and the center spine of the bag carries the weight and not the flap. Well worth the $$ to me...should last for many years to come.

Best Bag I've ever owned
This is a great quality bag. I first seen this bag at Macy's for list price. Really liked the bag but not for that price. Glad that it's available on Amazon at a more reasonable price. If your wondering about the size, I carry my 15' Macbook Pro, iPad, all the chargers, along with the large business note pads, and folders. Still have lots of room. It will expand wider if I need to carry a large coffee mug or water bottle. That wouldn't work with a brief case. This bag will stand up on it's own most of the time. I didn't know if I would like the solid bar across the top at the handle. After using this bag for 6 months I'm glad I chose this model. It carries like a brief case with the flexibility of a duffel bag, but looks very professional.

Good for the classroom or the boardroom!
Bag has a sturdy handle and strap. The handle and strap rings are screw-fastened into top dowel rod. The handle is very nicely wrapped in leather and comfortable to hold. The strap is sturdy and long enough to allow the bag to be worn over the shoulder or across the body. The strap has a leather shoulder pad that does a good job of staying place, yet allows the bag to be moved from front to side to back of the wearer. The leather is nicely tanned, of a consistent color with few marks, yet slightly distressed and supple to give it that “used” look and feel; and the leather is thick enough to be sturdy but still thin enough to not create a heavy product. Construction is well-done with sturdy stitching inside and out and adds a nice cosmetic trim to the bag as well. There are plenty of pockets to hold everything you could need, including a 15 inch laptop, small portfolio, notebooks or legal pads, business cards, and pens and pencils. The interior lining is smooth and free of anything that might cause papers to catch and tear or bend and also easy to clean (just wipe out with a damp cloth). The snap buckles make the bag hassle-free to open though they do take some getting used to in order to get the feel for when they’re depressed enough to slide past the clasp. This bag is just as functional as it is good looking. Perfect for travel or everyday use, and just as at home in the classroom as it is in the boardroom.

Great bag, great value
Love this bag. I'd been using one of the generic black cheap laptop bags that your company gives you when you start and are assigned a laptop. Then you get this. Tough, stylish and really functional. I especially love the back opening with the magnetic flap. The buckles can seem a little stiff at times but once you get used to them they are fine

Awesome. I bought this bag in December 2011
Awesome. I bought this bag in December 2011, and today in August 2015 it is still my daily carry. The quality has been great, and it ages BEAUTIFULLY like a proper leather bag. Size wise it handles my laptops great, and expands when i need to load it up. So what has happened since i bought it 4 years ago? Two things you should know - the buckles tend to undo them selves - there are small set screws. Once every ~2 years you may need to take an eyeglass size screwdriver to it to retighten them to the leather. Who cares! Secondly, the clasp for the strap bent... probably from me loading the sucker up. Put a cloth around it and some plyers and bent it back straight.... and its been fine for a year since it happened. Needless to say this has been a SOLID buy, which i was concerned about originally as it was a few dollars more than i wanted to spend. But it has held up well and I see atleast 4 more years of use in it - if not longer!

It's a really nice bag
I originally got it as a graduation gift for myself. It was a great looking bag. Got lots of compliments when I had it. My mom asked to "borrow" it one day for court. She had a case coming up and needed something with a handle. I have yet to get it back. She always tells me how "her" bag always gets compliments at the courthouse. I'm afraid to ask for it back. I'll probably just buy another one. Mine looks to have held up pretty good. I bought it back in 2017 and it still looks nice.

Get Noticed, but in a Good Way
This bag has a unique look, has great storage capacity, and is compact. I can't tell you how much I love my new bag. I've been looking for a very long time for a bag that will fit all my needs and I've found it in this one. Genuine Leather, can store my laptop and have room for my notebook and some books or documents, light, and has a certain look to it. Exposed stitching is a great addition to this look. Today is the first day I'm using it and I've gotten 3 compliments already. It has a soft yet durable feel, and will require some care (water proofing and the like) as all leather products do but it is definitely going to last me a very long time. Get this bag. Seriously.

Audit Bag
I was an auditor working for a mid-size public accounting firm and I needed a decent bag. This was my portable office. I carried my laptop (15"), power cords, extension cord, 5 Hour Energy, portable scanner, pens, pencils, notebooks, client files, and a mouse to every client. I needed something with enough space that I could carry this AND a bag that looked professional (so no canvas). I shopped for months trying to find the right combination of value and features and settled on this bag. I was so excited to get it Tuesday night and even more so when I realized how well everything fit. I was giddy when I went to the client's office Wednesday to interview them about controls. As I was standing in the lobby having talked to the receptionist, I was a little repulsed when a homeless guy walked into the lobby, set down his stuff, and began to liberally apply the hand sanitizer that was in the lobby to his face and exposed body. I watched him in amazement from the corner of my eye when I saw it. His bag was the same bag as mine. He had this bag to carry his stuff around and then I began to question my judgement. Was I looking at my future self? Had he, too, been an auditor working these crazy hours? Had he finally snapped, flipping the client's desk after the twelfth failed attempt at getting an aged AR schedule from the client, and walked out on the street destined to smell of sanitizer and worn leather? I wasn't sure but I quickly got ahold of myself and stopped that thought process before I turned around and walked out of the client's office. As I walked away with the receptionist to interview the client, I glanced back and realized that the bag wore very well and that, I think, I had made a good decision on the bag. It is now four years later and I still have the bag. I no longer carry client files; instead I carry my textbook, syllabus and exams. The bag looks great and still meets my needs. I still think about the homeless guy and how close I came so many times during busy season to following in that guy's footsteps. I mean, how hard would it be? I already had the bag for it...
