It's a dependable workhorse, day in and day out
Having a small office and having had terrible experiences years ago with Brother products, I avoided them for a long time and stuck with trusty HP printer/copiers. Having grown heavy into scanning documents and electronic document storage, we progressed to HP multifunction machines. But the HP auto document feeders don't "feed" straight unless you hold your breath just-so, and the HP auto document feeders predictably just up and die within 6 months to a year, and are not cost-efficient to repair. Last year I got sick of the disposable HP multifunctions, and bought Brother's precursor to this machine and after working it hard, am still in love with it although it has the fax function which is totally superflous for us as we quit using faxes way back. This year, we needed another multifunction machine for another person on the staff, and I found this Brother DCP8155DN which is the same as the one I got last year except it does not have the un-needed fax function. Brother has come a long way, baby, and this little machine delivers. It does what it's supposed to do, reliably and dependably, each and every time. It's a pretty easy set-up, the Brother toner cartridges last forever, and it's all but maintenance-free. Occasionally we have to spend about 1 minute cleaning it due to a fleck of something getting where it's not supposed to be.

Great Office Printer/Scanner/Copier
I am a professor at a large university and I need to print, scan, and copy documents and notes almost every day. I ordered this printer to for my office to do just that since my previous printer-only machine had given up the ghost. Having been very happy with a Brother MFC 7840W at home for many years, I thought I would give a Brother a try for my office. With that as background and having had this printer for several weeks, I really like it. It was easy to put hook up to our Ethernet network (you can also connect to it wirelessly) and it is easy to print to it and capture scans from my MacBook Pro. Both the printer and copier are very fast and the print quality is excellent. I do wish that that the scanner was faster, but that may be because I am using Apple's built-in Image Capture app over the network (though I do see the same slow speed at home on my older printer). Bottom line: I highly recommend this device for a small office or home office.

A very good business purchase.
I purchased this machine after an HP four-in-one finally died. I was so unhappy with the HP, which cost considerably more than the Brother, that I vowed never to purchase another HP product. I very pleased with the Brother printer (four-in-one), and purchased a second unit for the office. These are uncomplaining workhorses in a pretty busy small business. They are easy to use, and provide good copies and scans.

Superior Quality and a Far Better Choice Than the Brother DCP-7065.
I had the Brother DCP-7065DN and replaced it with the 8155. The difference in quality is enormous. Much better quality, sturdy plastic, faster printing and scanning speed, duplex scanning in one pass with the automatic document feeder, and a far superior front manual feed that holds numerous pages that are fed individually, not just one sheet like the 7065.

Easy Setup worked well out of the box
Easy to set this up and helpful hints on the quickstart guide to get this running in a few minutes after unpacking. Good quality print with duplex option not slowing the print speed to any noticeable level. Capable of iPhone printing when both connected to network.

This is my 7th Brother Printer I've purchased for my office and home.
8480's, 8680's and this is my 1st 8155. All of them have been excellent printers but this 8155 is the best. Easy to use. Scanning is easy. Duplex copying and printing are a must in my office. The 8155 performs admirably. Toner cost is very good also. I recommend highly.

So far so good.
I have had this for a few months and it has been working well. We use it in a small office as both a copier and a printer. So far so good.

Good for small office use
Works great for our little office. We use it to scan in documents (into pdf files) and to make copies.
