Best Christmas gift ever!
This little car was the absolute best gift I could have bought for my daughter. She loved it immediately. It is just the right size for her and she can climb in and out safely by herself. She even tries to put her seat belt on by herself (Developing good habits early). This car came in a large box and was shipped fast. The instructions to assemble the car were easy to follow and the assembly went smooth. The car looks great. My daughter is 16 months old and she loves cars and "steering" things. I wanted to get her a wagon and this was a great combination of the two. She immediately loved it and didn't want to part with it. She is on the smaller side, but still fits in the car nicely and she can reach the steering wheel just fine. I like that it has a seat belt so that she doesn't stand up while I'm pushing her. The only downfall is that I am tall and I wish the handle was a little taller for us tall guys. Otherwise I have no complaints. It comes with 3 cup holders and a storage space under the hood. You push it from behind instead of pulling it like you would a wagon. We went for a run while pushing her in this car and it had no issues. This is made extremely well, and for the price it is absolutely worth buying. I would recommend it to anyone.

Fantastic purchase for my daughter
Wow, I can't say enough good about this buggy. My daughter absolutely loves cruising in it, with a little help from mom and dad of course. It took just a little time to assemble, and instructions were clear and all parts were present. My daughter is now 16 months and we got it right at her 1st birthday and she is still VERY much interested in it. I was worried that it would get old quick for her, but doesn't seem to be the case. She hated riding in grocery carts and strollers, so this actually helped her learn to sit down for longer period of time. That alone was an invaluable benefit to this purchase, as we've witnessed hundreds of public meltdowns before purchasing this item. She loves it and when she outgrows it and if/when we have a son, I will spray paint this bad boy blue and call it a day!!

A must for us!
This little whisper buggy ride car is awesome. We bought the pink girl one for my daughter for her first birthday almost 3 years ago and we have used it almost everyday (weather permitting) for walks.. sometimes more than once a day. Our daughter still loves hers and we still use it so it was no question what we were getting our son for his first birthday. We got him this blue boy one and now he has one too and he loves it and they are both in their matching cars when we take walks. Comfortable to push. Not heavy. Super fun for baby and toddler to ride/play in. I feel safe with my son strapped in with the included seatbelt even though he is 12 months and not the recommended 18 months. My daughter got hers at 12 months and there was never a safety issue with her either. Just perfect! They love the horn and cup holders to store pinecones or flowers etc. the only thing I would change is the adult cup holder.. I wish it was a little bigger around to be able to hold something other than a small water bottle (really wish my iPhone 6 could fit in it) and I wish it was a complete enclosed cup holder so that I could put smaller items in it and them not fall out (like keys)

LOVE this car!!
My 10 month old granddaughter absolutely LOVES this car!. I got it for her for Christmas and out of all of her gifts this is her favorite. The age on the box says 18-36 months. She is definitely ok in the car. It has seat belt and she fits nicely in it. The interior is all closed off so she it could even fit another small child. It has a little trunk space in the front to store stuff. The handle bends down to put in car for travel. There is a cup holder for the adult and the child. It is very smooth and quiet. My daughter and I put it together in about 15 minutes. The wheels go on like tricycle wheels so need some tools but was very easy to put together. Highly recommend this car!

BEST gift for 1st Birthday ever!
We purchased this for our grandson's first birthday... OMG, he loves it so much. Assembling was average, but our boy is so worth it. He's a climber so even though we're not pushing him every minute of the day (which he wants), he enjoys climbing in and out and pushing it himself. He loves wild and crazy rides around his house and longer jaunts around the neighborhood. It was his favorite gift! I love that it had a seatbelt and the whole ride is adorable!

Awesome, But Cup Holder Needs Improvement & We Had To Rig A Shade
We purchased this for our 13 month old on the advice of another parent, and boy were they right. (UPDATE: Now using it for the same child at 3.5 years old, and we have only had to remove the steering wheel to give him extra leg room, otherwise it's still going strong! My son is big for his age too). I would second their advice and not wait for the 18 month mark as our little guy is obsessed with this car. The seating area is tighter than the race car shopping carts at our local stores so this is probably for the smaller guys anyway. My husband had it assembled in ten minutes and I didn't hear any griping so that's always a good sign. Cup holder does fit a bottled beer but the holder swings so when you go down an incline or over some tall grass, the beer will flip forward from the swinging momentum and thus spill forward, AKA it is not really functional for an opened bottle. Cans of beer fit fine (coozies don't fit though). The cup holder does fit my iPhone as well as some keys and other small items if I line it with a paper towel first (there are holes cut into the bottom of the holder). It also holds a small bottle of water (with the cap on it) quite well (the slender 16.9 oz bottle of Dasani for instance). The lack of a shade is pretty awful, as trying to get our little guy to wear a hat can be a battle. So I ordered about 5 umbrellas of varying sizes on Amazon and we ended up with the Versa Brella by Sport Brella in red and then after the red one broke we ordered blue. Both looked fine and tied well with the color of the car. The Versa Brella angles in several different ways thanks to the jointed stem. We attached it to the very end of the handle (that is closest to our bodies/hands when we push) and it doesn't really interfere with the cupholder that much. The clamp does affix nicely around the thick plastic of the Whisper Ride. The Versa Brella can be swiveled very easily so when we make turns in the 'hood, I simply swing the longer edge of the umbrella towards the sun and we get about another 3" of coverage for the little guy. I just wish this umbrella had vents though, as on a windy day (15 MPH gusts) it bucks and bows. Overall it's a necessity to have the umbrella in the Florida sun!! Trunk provides pretty decent amount of space, we have had two diapers, a travel pack of wipes, a paci, a change of clothes, a sun hat and a small ziplock full of snacks crammed into it and it still closed. There are holes in the floorboard of this car so you can hose it out if need be. There are two cup holders in the car for the rider, but they didn't fit our snack cups or sippy cups well. So in them we rigged thick coozies lined with thin plastic cups and we use one for snacks and the other to hold the sippy cup The coozie "holds" or grips onto the plastic cup and prevents spills. The wheels do not turn but I just push down on the handle, thus lifting up the front wheels and swivel the car in the direction that I need it to go. I am 5'9" and my husband is 6' and we don't have any issues pushing this. Sure an inch or two on the handle would be great but I understand this product needs to accommodate everyone. This has been a great addition to our outdoor time. The little guy loves for us to "pull over" so he can push in sprinkler heads, pick up rocks or touch the mailboxes, etc. He will even sit in it while it's parked in our driveway and allow me to get some raking, etc. done while he snacks. We have gotten this into Disney on several occasions but a few times have been told "really isn't allowed," although we always get in. It's a lot smaller than some of the huge double strollers people are pushing around and frankly it still falls within the size limits on Disney's website. It is not pulled like a wagon (wagons are not allowed into Disney parks) either. ***UPDATE 7/2015*** My son still loves this car. We had to take the steering wheel out to give him more room in the "cabin" for his legs. Still one of the best purchases we've made to date.

My son loves it!c
I put this together myself in about an hour. I’m sure for others it’ll be a LOT less, but I’m BAD with these things. That being said I was able to actually do it myself. Instructions were clear. I saw a few people say the wheel fell off. I can understand how. The wheel assembles to the axel by way of a plastic cap with a metal ring. The ring is too big and you need to hammer the metal bar into the metal to make it fit. I had to try a few times to get it on straight. When you do that part make sure it’s on straight and pull on it to make sure it’s secure. If it’s not the wheel will easily pop off. That was the worst part. The rest was a breeze. Took it out for a run and my kid loves it. It handles just as easily as a stroller and I was able to take it up and down curbs and turn with no issue. My son is a big 17 months at 30 lbs and he has lots of leg room and seat space. I was worried because he’s big, but non issue. The cup holder doesn’t work well but I was able to secure my stroller organizer bag to the handle. Def an option if you carry your phone etc. you can get those bags on amazon for 10 dollars. In all very happy with this purchase. Step 2 stuff is built to last and while expensive at first it’s worth it.

Cute & fun.
Just got this for my 6 month old daughter. She loves going on walks with it. She is still a little small for it but I just cushioned the seat with a small blanket and strapped her in and it works great. The ride ia very smooth. I am 5' 3" and husband is 5' 9" and the handle height is very comfortable for both of us. Assembly was fairly easy. Took about 30 minutes.

Best purchase for my munchkin!
Best purchase for my 9 month old. I was a bit hesitant because the product is recommended for 18 month +. However, my daughter has been able to sit independently for awhile. The first time we took her for a spin around the neighborhood, her face was priceless. She loved holding the steering wheel and looking at everything. Now, we use this for our morning and evening walks and she is as excited as the first time. Definitely the best purchase I have made. It took my husband some time to figure out how to assemble it, but no big deal.

These are the wheels and tires you want!
I’m writing this review for all of you torn because of all the ‘loud noise ‘ comments. I got the pink girls model and I was a little apprehensive to purchase until I did extensive research and I’m soo glad we decided to purchase this for my daughter’s 1st birthday! Best price, fastest shipping and it’s the newer model. The wheels are a little more rubbery than hard plastic which gives it a super smooth ride, and if you push it it’ll roll forever! Daughter loves it when you slingshot her across the house and she always wants to climb inside and sit in it. I’m assuming the blue boys model or the older girl version would be the ones making all the noise, probably due to the hard plastic wheels.
