Use it for storing original copy of will. Bank wants $100/year safe deposit box. This unit $115 delivered. If I live 2 more years, it's paid for. Solid as... a safe."First Alert" has figured this one out. Nice big numeric dial, easy for aging eyes to see and fumble fingers to operate. Don't trust digital.. batteries die and if in a flood... what then for digital lock? Safe comes w/ a key if you wanna bypass all that dial turning. If the house burns down and will copy survives, I'll let you know. Live 2 blocks from fire station, surely they can get here w/in the one hour rating! Safe can be bolted to floor w/o violating fire and flood warranty. Pretty slick how they accomplished that trick. I like it. Nicely designed and well manufactured

Very good home safe

The safe arrived a week early and the packaging was excellent. The safe works perfectly and the bolt down kit makes it easy to secure to the floor. I would definitely recommend this safe, especially at this price point.

Great product for the price!

Exactly what we wanted. Sturdy, very heavy, no need to bolt down on floor. Inside has more room than expected. Combination works well and key works great. Definitely recommend.

Fire proof safe

The safe box is awesome and it's very big and heavy. The advertisement says it's 88lbs but I believe is more than that and that's a bonus. You can see the quality of the design and the thickness of it that's to protect anything inside from a fire or water. I recommended.

Worth the investment.

This is a heavy safe! ( I'm not sure my delivery person likes me anymore!) I had this brand a few years ago but in a smaller size. Our house caught on fire and burned to the ground. The safe survived and although we had to break it open because of the heat, documents were saved, although some a little burnt around the top. Worth the investment.

Good security

First off the size inside was bigger then I thought it would be second what great service from this seller and on a scale of one to ten I would give them a 10, Fast shipping and all question answered. Well built safe probably except a bit of plastic on the inside door and also the self was plastic and not sure how well it would hold up in a fire. Other then that I would purchase from this seller again.

Waterproof and Fire-resistant

The First Alert Waterproof and Fire-resistant Combination Safe has lived up to its billing so far. It is quite sturdy and appears to have the ability to maintain a seal against water and fire. Though I have not had the necessity to test it for the latter, which is a great thing. Superb value for safe guarding your valuables.

I searched around after reading some bad reviews of other safes. This thing is a tank, it feels solid, and as far as i can tell, has no backdoors like some other safes. It was shipped well and without damage... It is HEAVY.

Heavy but worth it

Great safe. Heavier than I expected. The poor UPS guy needed my help to get it out of the truck. This model uses both a combination and circular keys incase you forget the combo. It also comes with floor bolts. Well worth the money.
