Love this yarn
Love this yarn. So soft and snugly Made two blankets with it now and continue to come back for more. My latest project turned out so nice. And it washes well in washing machine as well. ❤️❤️❤️

Great yarn
Lion Brand Hometown USA is my "go to" yarn. I prefer bulky/chunky yarns and this one fits the bill. I got lucky when I first took up knitting and ordered this type of yarn and made a beautiful scarf with it. I've been "hooked" ever since. I also like that it comes in a great variety of lovely colors, this color (Merlot) being but one of them. I only wish it came in more yards per skein.

I crochet and enjoyed this yarn
I am using this yarn for a large afghan. I would recommend this chunky weight yarn for all of your heavier weight project needs. I enjoy the feel and the warmth of this particular brand and haven't had any problems working with it. It is true to color depicted. The only word of caution is to be careful how many times you try and pull this yarn out and start over on a project. The yarn will pull or pill after a too many rough re-starts. I would recommend this to intermediate and advanced crocheters or knitters. Might be a little difficult to handle if you're just learning to crochet.

Very nice yarn.
This is the first time I used this particular yarn. I am very pleased with the way it worked up. I crocheted a unicorn hood for my granddaughter. This yarn was easy to work with, is very soft, and I think will be very durable. I am very happy with my purchase and will order again.

Absolutely LOVE this product and seller
This yarn is wonderful! It is exactly the color shown, great to work with, going to make a wonderful blanket, super soft(!), and as thick as I expected. All five skeins were wrapped individually, something I greatly appreciate because it keeps the unused skeins clean and like new. This came on time in pristine packaging. The price was great! And I would recommend this seller and this particular yarn to everyone!

Good for knitting and crochet
I’m using this to learn how to knit and it’s so silky and soft. Works great for crochet as well. It does get a bit fuzzy and sheds a little but has beautiful stitch definition.

Absolutely LOVE this yarn and color.
This yarn is wonderful to work with and so, so soft. I ordered about 15 skeins in two separate orders and only one was slightly mismatched which I used for the tassels. The Lake Tahoe blue is simply gorgeous. I made an afghan for myself for Christmas and many of my friends wanted it for themselves! Works up beautifully.

I barely even know you Great Aunt Marie!
You've felt it. The panic of when your mom/dad/dog asks you to knit them something. Not only that, but knit them something that they can use the very next day. Do they think you're Quicksilver or the Flash or something?? Do they not know that a hat with all the characteristics they are asking for would take a few days at least?! Have no fear, Super Bulky is here! A super thick yarn pairing with just as thick needles makes for a super speedy hat that will keep any demanding relative happy in a pinch! Hometown USA is soft, durable, and cozy for an acrylic and is one of my favorite Oh-God-Stop-Asking-For-Hand-Knits yarn!

softeness and yardage vary by color
Be aware that softeness and yardage vary by color. SOFTENESS: I bought autumn el paso, houston cream, Los Angeles tan, oakland black, honolulu pink, cape cod tweed, NY white, Tennessee tango and all of these were extra soft. Autumn el paso is my favorite because of the richness of the color: there are hints of red that makes the yarn magic once crocheted. Kansas city tweed was slightly less soft but nothing on the "rough" side. It might come from the thread that makes it "tweed" looking. But just zooming on the picture will give you an idea YARDAGE: I think I remember yardage varies by color so zoom in, check the description of each color skein. If I recall correctly, traditionnal colors are slightly bigger than mixed colors. PRICE: Price varies greatly here on amazon. I have seen it in store for $8/$7 but you can score it for $3 or even lower here on amazon. So if you are in no rush, wait.
