Exceeded Expectations!
This is a well made cushion that feels supportive and comfortable. It has just the right firmness for me, which helps to reduce my back pain when sitting for long periods of time. I have tried to use it both on my office chair and the car seat with good results. One important thing I want to point out is that this cushion needs break-in time for it to settle. In fact, at first I thought it was too firm and not what I wished it to be. But after a week of break-in, it has made significant difference. After two weeks it was perfect for my need and now I love it. Highly recommended!

Used as Adult Car Booster Seat
I bought this to use in my Nissan 370Z. I'm 5'2" and felt like I could barely see out of the windows of my car. Due to the bucket seats, I could not see over the hood at all, had a bad blind spot when turning corners because side mirrors were in my line of sight, etc. This seat is hard enough to maintain its 3" height, yet comfy. I've not taken it for any long rides yet, but it definitely works perfectly for what I needed. I feel much more comfortable driving the car now, and would highly recommend this product. It doesn't lock/tie on anywhere, but that's fine with me, because when I have the top down, I store it in the trunk anyway so nobody can reach in and steal it!

For Bucket Seats helps with hip pain, buldging disc in back
I use this in my car. I have a labral tear in my hip and a buldging disc in my back. I use this in my car which has bucket seats which I loved before my injury. Until this wedge pillow by TravelMate it was difficult to drive myself to appointments. Even though I am not pain free because of needing procedures and surgery, this furniture grade pillow makes driving to appointments easier and doesn't increase my pain levels like the bucket seats did without it. I even took it to Physical therapy and my PT agreed that it feels sturdy and would last a long time. She also liked the wedge shape for use on straight hard chairs to improve posture. I also take this pillow into waiting rooms so I can tolerate sitting for a bit longer. This pillow has a handle and nonslip dots on the underside. I am a heavier person with extra pounds (over 250) and the pillow doesn't squish under my weight. The only regret I have is that I didn't buy this sooner!

The cushion is firm but still comfortable and provides the extra height needed
Met my expectations and then some. I use this in the car to give me a few extra inches to see out the windshield.. This fit the ticket perfectly. The cushion is firm but still comfortable and provides the extra height needed. Since one side has memory foam, it bounces back to its normal size after use. I like its pie-wedge shape, allowing it to conform nicely to the seat. I sometimes use it for my computer chair in the house, as well. May have to buy another one. The black cover is like a faux suede with no pile-very nice and gives added protection to seat covers. Easy to take off and wash. It's plenty big, even for those with ample sitting surface! Be sure that the memory foam side is facing up.

Awesome! Comfy! Great for us short people!
This thing is great! I got it so I could be taller while driving the pickup truck. It works perfectly to set me up higher to see the road better. (I claim to be 5'3"...but that is only if I cheat a little!). I also used it on the kitchen chair since it was inside after it was shipped and discovered that I love using it with my kitchen chair too! It makes me just a little bit taller so the table is perfect height while I sit and study or do things on the computer (or eat of course!). It also makes it much more comfortable. I love this thing. At under 20 bucks, I might just buy a second one to keep inside permanently! I should note that I do not have any back or tailbone issues, so I am not certain if it would help with those issues, but it seems like it might since it has that little cutout in the back.

Fits a Smart Fortwo
I drive a Smart For Two Pure and have been searching for a seat cushion/wedge to raise the driver's seat because this model doesn't have a height adjustment setting. i am 5' 7" and need a little extra lift...(btw: I love everything else about this car!) After trying numerous 'boosters' without successful results; either to small/large, to hard/soft, don't stay in place, poor/flimsy construction, etc., this is the one that fits/works for my seat perfectly. It is firm - with lots of 'give' and does not flatten-out, maintains shape, firmness and height, stays in place - due to the non-slip coating on the underside. The cut-out tail bone ('coccyx') section; a feature found on more expensive orthopedic products, is a great feature; helping support my lower 59 year old (drummers) back on longer trips. This seat booster has transformed my driving experience, giving me a consistent 3-3 1/2" boost, so I now see/experience everything without straining. Regardless of price, this is the best and most comfortable option i have discovered for adjusting seat height. I can't think of anything to improve on with regards to design or quality; am very satisfied and highly recommend this car seat booster cushion!

Exactly what I needed!!
This is a great pillow to sit on in the car if your short like me. It gives me enough of a boost so I can see the nose of my car and it makes it easier to judge distances. GREAT, GREAT, GREAT!!!

without the seat cushion i was sitting super low it is not the safest thing
I am under 5 foot tall. I drive a nissan versa hatchback. without the seat cushion i was sitting super low it is not the safest thing. Even with a smaller car it is still harder to sit. so i bought this because i was curious. When i got it i was doubting it and it was uncomfortable in the sence that i have been driving for a very long time without seeing things. but after adjusting my mirrors steering wheel and seat its awesome. i see everything i drive even more safely. Once you get use to the height change it is great. a huge plus that its very comfortable tooo

Helps Back Pain Associated With Bucket Seats in Car
I have an SI joint problem and this helps elevate the pressure on my back. I have a Honda Civic bucket seat and every time I drive my car I get back pain. I was told by my chiropractor that is caused by the way my back and legs are situated in the position of the car seat. On his recommendation I bought a wedge seat. I am using a Medium/Large Firm Fit and the firmness of the cushion has been holding for 8+ months. A small nuisance is that it does move when you get in and out of the car, on the other had I can switch the cushion very easily from driver to passenger. Regardless a small price to pay if you suffer from chronic back pain and this offers relief. My 5 foot aunt sat on it and loved it so much I bought one for her too.

Seems to reduce lower spine & hip pain while still being a comfortable cushion.
I suffer from a sudden bout of lower back & hip pain, including my tailbone. I've had this for about a week and I can definitely tell the difference if I'm sitting with (less pain) or without (ouch ouch ouch) it. It's reasonably firm to perch on, seems to divert pressure away from my spine, and is still comfortable. It does change the angle of my legs, but not in a bad way. I didn't notice a strong odor, but the tags are oversized for the product and hanging off in an unsightly fashion - I need to trim them off after not reading any of the warnings. (I promise to not set it on fire, attempt to use it as a flotation device or a posterior enhancer, I don't need those warnings.)
