An absolute wonderful addition to our 25' flagpole

An absolute wonderful addition to our 25' flagpole. It displays "our" great American flag they way it should. That's a weather station up there too.

Very good quality light

Update (10/31/2016): 4 years later and this light is still holding up. I just pulled it down for the first time since purchasing it to clean off any build up on the top which may limited the amount of light getting to the solar panels. Still no issues - very pleased with this product. Original: I am a former Marine Corps Color Sergeant, so I am a stickler for proper lighting on a flag flown at night. I explored many lighting options for my flag pole (including hardwired and solar lights) before settling on this light, and I am completely satisfied. Installation is extremely easy. I installed the light in the winter and was skeptical about it performing well, but I was pleasantly surprised. During the long winter nights, the light was much dimmer at 6-7 am, but it never died. Now that the Spring is here and the nights are much shorter, the light is still quite bright just before dawn. Keep in mind this is an LED light, so that may clash with other light sources you may have in your yard (e.g. garden lights). I did not have this problem. This is the only light source I have tried, but I have trouble believing another solar powered light will perform any better.

Did it’s job!

I had this for well over three years in the Florida sun as well as the rain. It started to go dim and now it’s time to get a new one. But to have it for 39 months - I can’t complain. I have spent more on other things that have only lasted a fraction of the time.

Best light ever!

This is the best flag light we've ever had! It took some adjusting to get it fit properly at the top of the flagpole, but it is absolutely worth it. Over the years we have tried every kind of light (flood lights, solar lights) to keep the flag raised at night, but none of them were very satisfactory. With this solar powered light once it is installed it works just as described. We never have to worry about our flag being lit at night and the light from it is a soft glow that is not bothersome to the entire neighborhood as with the flood lights. What a great idea! We've been using it for about 8 months now with no issues whatsoever. Highly recommended.

Bright light

Mounted this flag pole light yesterday and went to look at it after dark. It is quite bright. I am pleased. After a few days I'll look again since by then it should be charged based on the amount of sunlight hitting the pole. Update: every morning the LED are still glowing even if not brightly and that has been after several days of partly cloudy to full cloudy skies and rain. In the early night the flags are illuminated quite well. I am happy with it. I did have to replace the small ball on the top of my Harbor Freight flagpole with a metric 12x1.75mm bolt because the pole topper bolt had a portion that was to big to fit in the light's center hole. Not much of an issue.

Most Awesome Flagpole Light!!!

I bought a flagpole several, several months ago and finally installed it. Where it is placed is far from electricity so no way to get electricity to a light to shine on flag at night. I bought a solar light from Lowe's that is placed in the ground and is aimed to shine on the flag. It just was not powerful enough and did not stay in position and did not last all night. I saw this flag pole light and decided to give it a try. Flag etiquette requires lighting of the flag at night. I am sooooo pleased with this light. I can't believe it. It is an awesome light!!!! Easy to install, and was charged when I received it, but before we installed it, we made sure the switch was turned off and put it outside for a couple days to make sure it was charged completely. I was so please the first night. It actually worked. But I was concerned about it staying lit all night. I get up before dawn most mornings and the first morning after we installed it, the light was still shining!!!! I was so excited! It's been 2 days and it still working great!! Hopefully, this will last for a while. I highly recommend this flagpole light from Sunnytech.... It's awesome!! It is now almost 11 months since I purchased this light. I'm still loving it and is still awesome!! I did have a problem with it though. It stopped working about 10 months after I purchased it. I took it down and 1 of the solar panels had come lose. I was somewhat frustrated, but I contacted the business and they sent me a new one with no charge. They have wonderful customer service. If you have a problem, I highly suggest contacting the company. They will be more than happy to take care of it. Wonderful company!!!

Very nice

When my flag went missing I got a new one and I ordered this light put it on top when it came it started to rain the light came on when it got dark, it was still on when I got up before daylight still on it rained for three days it still burned all night so I guess it will still recharge even with no sun. Yes I am happy. Well I have had my light since Feb and its June the light is still working, it has rained here five days without any sun I looked out and the light is still burning it must charge with just daylight very happy. Up date 6/26/13 light still burning every night. I live in a very conservative neighborhood and we all have flags they saw mine light on the pole now the whole neighborhood has lighted flags. love it. Up date 10/25/13 had my light since Feb. 13 It has come on every night like clock work even when we don't have sun for a few days I can't understand bad reviews but there are lemons maybe they got one. 8/12/14 light still coming on just fine. 03/05/17 Okay it just went out I would get it again but now there is one that has 26 lights and a reflector base should be a lot more light.

Does the job

My brothers and I, all veterans, wanted to replace my dads flagpole for his birthday. I'm not sure what we expected as far as the circumference of light illuminating the flag but I consider this perfect as both of my parents were able to see the flag and have commented on it several times. Just what we wanted. I would ask folks to understand that this light is really for home use and does not illuminate a large area on the ground. As it is mounted on top of the pole the circumference of light is smaller and stronger at the top while larger and weaker on the ground. Thus don't expect your flag and pole to be lit like a government building. If you want that, buy a different commercial grade light.

Great product!

I've only had this for a few weeks but it's working as it's supposed too. If I have a sunny day it's pretty bright during the evening hours. If it's been cloudy, it illuminates about half of the flag but it's not horrible. I was a little put off because it was a solar light but so far I'm pleased with this product.
