If I could give this more stars... I would. We purchased this for our 12 month old for Christmas. Highlight of his day! While he doesn't understand the steps.. He enjoys climbing up the red slide and sliding down on his belly!!! This is a pretty sturdy slide as long as you make sure it's on a flat surface. The arms tend to pop up once in a while, so be sure to make check the few interlocking points before allowing a little one to use. As my son cannot use it alone yet, an adult is always with him. I would recommend adult supervision until your child can climb and fall like a pro!

I rarely write reviews, but this slide has been so much fun over the past year that when I saw it while Christmas shopping this year, it made me smile and I decided to write a review. I purchased this slide last year as a Christmas present for my grandsons who were 18 months, and 2 1/2yrs. We put a big mat at the bottom and they enjoyed it inside the house. However, this summer we took it outside and placed the bottom inside a plastic swimming pool, They LOVED it. We have an in-ground pool at our home, but there is no shade and the kids cannot swim, so I put this slide and a plastic pool on an indoor/outdoor rug close to big pool, then put a canopy over it and the little kids spent hours and hours playing in it this summer. I buy so many products from Amazon and tons of things for my grandsons, but this is by far the one item they have really enjoyed. Now that its gotten colder, I brought the slide and pool into the garage and filled the pool with balls, so they can enjoy it this winter too.

At first I was a little worried because some of the reviews state that the sides/arms come off easily. I was even more disappointed when I received it and mine was doing the EXACT same thing, arms coming completely off when the baby was trying to use it. BUT!!! I had it on wrong, as I suspect most parents did at first, and once I pressed down SUPER HARD and it clicked in (okay, I actually had my husband do this part), there was no slipping out again!! I hope this helps with anyone having this issue. It really did seem like it was clicked in and together the first time, but it goes down even further and really is sturdy after that. Anyway, no complaints! My 34 lb two year old loves it and it's easily taken indoors and outdoors.

Got this for my 1 year old for Christmas and she loves it! It's the perfect size. I also have a 5 year old almost 6 and he technically can use the slide as well. It's a little shorter on him but if he holds his legs up he still can use it without hitting the ground too fast. The two of them use it all the time and so far it seems pretty durable. Toys get thrown down the slide as well and it doesn't have any damage to it and we've had it since Christmas. Only thing though is if this is being bought as a gift, note that the box it comes in shows the picture of the slide on it. I got this one as a Christmas gift so I was prepared to hide it anyway, but for anyone who might want this as a surprise just know it doesn't come concealed.

At least for a toddler, that is. This was my niece's first Christmas gift from me, and she has always been shy around me until she say the huge box it came in. She spent the first 30 minutes riding the box like a horse, and once we assembled it for her, she was smitten! One note, I noticed that a lot of reviewers complained that the handles fall off easily. With a little elbow grease, they are actually harder to take off than to install. The key to proper installation is a simple 2 step process. First, place handles into the designated slots, grooves facing out. Second, forcefully, with the palms of your hand, whack it into position. The secret here is to horizontally whack it from the side with the steps TOWARD the side with the slide. You'll hear it pop into place when you do it correctly. Overall, great product, and will provide HOURS of entertainment for any child under 5.

My baby, who just turned one, was so excited to get this. Soon she saw it she tried to walk up the slide. She soon learned the right way to go, but she still prefers trying to go up the slide first. Its very simple to put together and store. Even my seven year old wanted to try to slide down it. Its a great slide for beginners and worth the money.

We purchased this slide from target for our sons first birthday. He and his 97th percentile 5 year old brother LOVE this slide. We live in Michigan and it has been great to keep them active inside while it is freezing outside. Our 1 year old figured it out immediately and although he tried giving me several heart attacks while he figured out how to get his feet under him and slide down, he figured it out after about a day and a half and I don't feel like I have to be right next to him while he plays on it. It is rather tall, my one year old is in the 95th percentile for height and it is taller than him. There have been several complaints about the hand rails falling off. I thought the same thing when I put it together, however my husband walked over and gave them a good pound with his palm and we havnt had any problems with them coming off. They are just a little hard to get in properly. Over all this is a great slide both of my boys really enjoy.

Worth every penny. I thought it would be cheap and not as sturdy as a step 2, that is NOT the case. I read some reviews about the handles popping off. I can see where this could be a problem for some. Now, it is confusing on how to put them on but once I figured out the direction they go on I snapped them in by basically putting all my weight of 200 pounds on it and they snapped in securely and have not popped off. They aren't going anywhere but I don't think I could've gotten them to snap into place without all my body weight. It's durable. This slide get a lot of rough and tumble. Bought for my 1 year old, and she loves it but my 8 year old son runs up and down it all the time and its holding strong.

The is a great entertainment maker. I bought it for my year old granddaughter. She learned quickly how to climb up tuck her little legs under herself and slide down. ( note works best with sock but take the shoes off ) I have also been transporting it back and forth weekly to our church nursery. It gets a workout but does no show any sign of stress from them many preschoolers, even occasional older kids want to use it. It’s very sturdy and well balanced. It will slightly tip up in the front if a youngster pulls back on the handles while still standing on the floor, but after using it for five months no one kiddo has been able to flip it backward. They also like to crawl under and through the “tunnel”. Only con was that when it arrived there were some whitish spots that I was afraid might be weak points it the plastic. As it turned out it only appears to effect the esthetics not the functionality.

Looking at the pictures of this slide, the plastic looks cheap and thin so I was really nervous getting it. The only reason I did is because most of the reviews are really good and there's a reason why! This slide is perfect. The plastic is nice and the slide itself is really stable. My 17 month old can climb the ladder and walk up the slide by herself. It has not tipped once and she has a tendency to be rough. I love how long the slide is and how the bottom of the slide makes for a smooth landing. I have no complaints. She loves it. I love it. It will last for many years and many kids. I would recommend it to anyone. UPDATE 10/20/14: My daughter is now almost 3 years old and she still absolutely loves this slide. It shows VERY little wear for being almost a year and a half old. I would still highly recommend it! UPDATE 05/31/16: My daughter is now 4 and I have a new child too. They both love this slide! It still shows very little wear and it's 3 years old so that's pretty amazing to me. My 4 year old is finally getting a bit too big for it (but she still makes it work and loves it!) but my 12 month old loves it and I expect it to last for her and beyond!
