Great quality cover.....

Fantastic product, after a little modification. The negative reviews state that the cover leaks. I believe this is because they allowed water to "pool" in the cavity of the griddle top. I fixed this by cutting a piece of scrap plywood a little larger then the griddle top (so it wont fall in) and then cut the corners at 45 degrees followed by sanding the ends to prevent any sharp corners / edges from cutting the cover. Attached two scraps of wood length wise on the underside / inside edge of the plywood top to prevent it from moving when you put the cover on. I then placed an old 5" ball on top of the plywood before putting the cover on. This will create a tent / peak so that the water will run off. We recently had 4" of rain over the weekend and upon checking the griddle it was bone dry......

Get this cover instead of other brands if you have a Blackstone because....

The quality is great, the fit is perfect, and it has the cool name brand logo. But the main reason you should buy this cover for you blackstone as opposed to another is because it has little beefed up circles where the corners of your griddle and side shelves make contact with it. This is not only good for wear, it actually makes putting your cover on a breeze. All you have to do is throw it on and locate a couple of the circles and reference them in place and you'll know that the other half of the cover just needs to be pulled into place. Maybe that sounds silly but with my last grill, I would think I had it straight on the grill only to have to adjust the cover afterward.

Perfect grill for me

Never mastered the cooking on grates skill needed for other grills. This one is perfect, cleans up easy and is easy to use. I've cooked standard things you grill. I've made several meals not usually cooked on grills --- like black beans, rice, peppers and onions, and chicken tenders ---- kraut, sausage, fried cornbread.

Why didn't we buy a griddle years ago?

We needed a gas grill, and decided to try this griddle. We'll never go back to a regular grill again. You can cook absolutely every thing on this griddle. No more replacement rocks, and cooking on gross grates and racks that don't come clean anymore. The legs can fold up for winter storage. It glides around easily on our deck. We love it!

Perfect match for the 36” Blackstone Griddle

Cheaper than WalMart and was the real cover. Not a fake. Nicely made with corner patches in 4 places on each side. It is coated on the underside to help prevent water from soaking through. I put a plastic cup in the center of my griddle top to make a tent that helps the water run off. Very happy with this product

Restaurant quality

This thing is heavy duty. Seriously, I didn't expect the top to be so thick and heavy. It's like cooking on a flattop at a restaurant. Whatever you do, season it first. It goes from a shiny silver color to reddish brownish black pretty quickly. But your food will taste better. I love having the grease catcher in the back. My only complaint is that it moves very easy when I move the griddle. I ended up with some oil on my deck before noticing. Regardless, the thing is great for burgers and veggies. I can't wait to do sausage and hot dogs. This is the big backyard item this year.

Heavy Duty Grill Cover

This cover for my Blackstone griddle has held up very well in the Texas heat and humidity. I take the cover on and off my 36 inch Blackstone on average 2 times per week every week.The feature that impress me most about the cover is the reinforced points at the corners of the griddle cover and shelves. I have not observed any of the stitching coming apart and so far no holes anywhere. The cover also has some weight to it which prevents it from being easily blown away. Also note that cover has two straps that hep secure it to the griddle.

Great cover for the Blackstone Griddle 36"

This cover fits my Blackstone 36" griddle extremely well. It does have a certain amount of water proofing. It's not complete waterproof but it keeps off the morning dew and a light shower as it sits on my outdoor deck. The tension straps on the bottom avoid this cover from flying off in high wind and it fits over all the accessories that i mounted on the griddle as well. Overall, this is very solid item that i would have no problem recommending or buying again.

Great Cover

Very good quality cover for your 36" Blackstone. And it just plain looks cool, too. If you store your Blackstone outdoors, I suggest making a hard cover for the griddle part, and "tenting" it to make water run off rather than pool in the griddle basin. I made a nice hard cover for the griddle part even though I keep it indoors, just to keep the cover from getting greasy laying on the griddle. But this soft cover is awesome!

Love it

I really like how heavy this cover is. It is not just cheap junk. The corners that go on the sharp edges have double protection so they don't rip. I typically store my Blackstone under a covered deck but water does sometimes reach it. I would suggest putting something under the cover to make a "tent" so that water does run off. I like the straps that go under and help hold the cover on but feel like they are backwards though.
