Been using them for several years - perhaps around 2-3 times a year to cut fringes and also kids hair. They cut so smooth and nice, the end result is like professional hair cut! I've used similar scissors before and thought they were good. These ones put the home haircut on a completely different level. Case is also quite sturdy. Highly recommend.

Very very sharp and thinning my hair really well!!! Becareful when you touching the blade, you may get cut and bleed like I did....TT TT I didnt even notice I had until washing my hands after all my hairs done. Great shear. I'm going to oil it after 3-4 times of usage. The only downside is thumb doesnt fit well. Finger holes really small. I think it designed for female or whoever has shallow fingers.

This is super helpful for novice barbers. I cut my husband's hair every month or so and this thing is a life-saver. It is very helpful and doesn't allow me to cut too much hair at once. Love it.

I am a Man with long hair. I cut my own hair; but always used clippers with height adjusters on . The problem is; is that the adjusters cut my hair too short to comb like I want it. I thought that perhaps I should try thinning shears; but I also thought that there is no way that I can cut My own hair with scissors. I got bold; and ordered some. I successfully thinned My hair and it actually has looked good ever since. By the way; these seem to be quality shears. They worked very well.

I couldn't find thinning scissors in any of my local stores (big box, grocery, beauty supply) stores, so said "duh," ONLINE. I'm not a professional; just wanted a pair for homeuse to remove bulk & whispy them when you 'just have to cut those bangs.' So, I googled & came up with too many choices! These Utopia 6.5's are perfect. Cutting surface seems just the right size so, if you make a mistake, it's not huge. Don't know much about cutlery metals, but the price, included postage & stopped me from hunting for them in my local stores. I had them in 5 days with only standard shipping (again, included)!! No more looking! Did this have to do with my location/proximity to distribution center? I don't know. They're better looking than illustrated, not junky at all! The little screwy thing let's you tighten the blades if they loosen up. The gel finger rings make a perfect fit for my fingers & increase control, althought w.o. the rings they're o.k. too. The little finger 'kickstand' gives you leverage for more than just 2 finger squeeze-ability. Also they came in their own zipper case so they're not damaged kicking around in some drawer being damaged. They were sharp as could be; you could hear that as you cut, and no pinching! All around, I couldn't have been more satisfied for personal use!

These scissors are amazing and more than paid for themselves with one use! I find that I frequently need a haircut, not because my hair is longer than wanted, but because it is thicker and bushier than wanted. So I bought these scissors to try thinning my hair myself between haircuts since that's what the hairdresser uses. These scissors are incredibly sharp and worked perfectly. In less than 20 minutes, my hair went from out of control to looking just as good as the hairdresser would have done and at a fraction of the cost! They even came in a zipper case with a spare slot that I use to keep the scissors I use for trimming the length of my hair.

It's either good or bad, and this is good. They work like they should be, and they're sharp! I am inexperienced and started cutting my own hair with these and clippers, and my first cut was great! and these were simple to use with a little bit of searching how to use them properly. The finger holes are a bit small, and I have average hands, so if you think your hands are bigger or fingers, maybe look at something else, although you CAN remove the little black circle rubber grips on the inner circle, but then you lose the grip itself. These are perfectly fine though, I enjoy them. I just hope these don't rust or anything anytime soon, mine had a weird little discoloration so I hope that isn't some sort of rust or something forming, as I haven't even gotten them wet! Oh and for the case, it doesn't really matter, and isn't part of the main product. The case is perfectly fine, unless you expect some bullet proof briefcase type thing... the this case may not be for you.

I love these liners. They keep my refrdgerator so neat looking. (At least they make me keep it organized!) I told several people about this product. I will probably order some for Christmas presents.

I have never used thinning shears before, but these were insanely easy to use and unbelievably effective. It may sound like a cheesy infomercial, but you won't believe how great they work until you try them yourself! Sleek design, nice carrying case, and incredibly smooth function. If you cut your own hair and you're struggling with "poofy hair" and want to settle, thin, and flatten things out, this is exactly what you need to get!

Purchased the Professional Barber Thinning / Texturing and they work really well. If you sew in hair and has a full head these will work great to thin it out. I thinned out a head full of sewn in hair and it came out beautiful. I will purchase again if needed to buy again.
