It works just great with my iPad 2 with no case - and ...
It works just great with my iPad 2 with no case - and its ready for my wedding. Yes there are other iPad adapters that are cheaper, but this one holds several sizes -- so you are not stuck with one permanent size. Also this one holds it pretty secure. I heard of others becoming loose. Packaging Included Very basic plastic bag and some instructions. Bag of legs - you will need 4 legs -- my iPad 2 required 2 large and 2 small. Very easy to attach. Also included is the all important tripod adaptor. This works just fine with the Amazon Basics tripod and pretty much all standard tripods. Holds secure and also provides some movement -- so you can do portrait or landscape. Ease of Use Instructions are self explanatory - also works with other tables. So this will probably work with newer iPads. Materials are hard plastic. The spring mechanism on the main piece feels very strong and clamps down on your table. So it's not going anywhere. You can also spread out the legs so you can use the rear camera on the tables -- another plus. Potential Uses Video taping works or Selfie photo booth for weddings and special events. Or you can use it to watch movies or for special effects. And the free 10" USB Cable Not really a biggie but it could be use for connecting the iPad cable to it and extending it to another outlet. So it's a nice idea. All in all a good buy. Pretty much what made me buy this over the other ones was versatility -- when I upgrade my iPad 2, I won't have to worry about the exact fit. Pretty much any tablet 7 to 10 inches will work.

fits 12.9 Ipad Pro perfectly.
I was seriously nervous at first I kept thinking my ipad would fall.. its a big tablet..fits on my existing tripod.. have used a couple times and once you figure how to pop it in and out.. its great... It comes with two sets of "legs or holders" and with this large ipad use the larger legs.. easy to put together and put on your tripod..

Holds our iPad Pro 12" well......
Finally found a mount that will hold our iPad Pro 12". Holds firm and steady as it should with no problems so far. Yes...it's all plastic, and I'm taking it slow and easy. I don't use it in a "professional" application so it should last me, all the while keeping my eyes open for a new, more durable 'metal' bracket.... ;-)

May be a wierd personal use, but I love It!
I have a smaller elliptical at home and I really need videos to keep motivated while I'm doing my workouts. I have a series of 30 minute exercise clips that I love to watch to "keep me going." This accessory was perfect for mounting my iPad Air to a height where I could easily watch my video on the iPad and have easy access to my headphones during my workout routine. I found it easy to install and adjust. The supports for the iPad seem more secure by positioning them on the top and bottom of the iPad, rather than on the sides.

Just what I wanted
This tripod mount fits my iPad Pro perfectly and is just what I needed. I like that the angle can be adjusted. Good product at a good price!

Works perfectly to mount my Surface Pro 4 to a tripod
I bought this tripod mount to use my Surface Pro 4 as part of a photo booth. Having it mounted on a tripod makes setting it up and adjusting it a snap. It securely holds my Surface Pro 4 horizontally with minimal wobble. The mount breaks down and fits into an included pouch so it doesn't take up too much room and all the pieces are together so you don't lose track of them. I can't attest to its long-term durability but so far, so good!

The Solution I Had Searched For
I have recorded hundreds of videos for my Social Aloe Ministries YouTube channel. However, I oftentimes had issues leveling the tripod, that was until I ordered the ChargerCity Vibration Free 360° Adjust Tripod Mount. I was going to invest a few hundred dollars in a camcorder instead but this tripod has allowed me to keep using my iPad.

Great for tablets
We used this for our tablet to record facebook lives weekly. It has worked awesome even when we have changed out the equipment.

Simple setup and works exactly as expected!
The setup is fairly simple: you get a base plate and a set of small and large tabs that slide into the four sides of the base. Using these tabs, you can mix and match (small/large combined, or all large, etc) to suit the size of your tablet. My Samsung Galaxy 10.1 tab feels very secure, and the mount is compatible with the Amazon Basics Tripod (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005KP473Q/ref=oh_details_o03_s01_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). The whole setup is intuitive enough that you don't really need instructions. This setup, combined with the tripod, will be perfect for a home made photo booth!

Not using it as intended. Have it mounted and holding a small projector.
Not using it as intended. Have it mounted and holding a small projector. The grip is strong and the prongs can be adjusted to avoid the vent and accessory holes. I was originally afraid it would hold my small projector, but the spring is very strong and once in, it doesn't move, even when it's holding it vertically when I'm showing a movie on the ceiling. I did put a small strap on it to catch it if it ever fell, but that hasn't happened yet.
