Scrapes carbon like a champ
Used this 12 times on a NiB BCG, every time I field strip since buying it. No signs of wear yet, edges are still effective. The blade scraper for cleaning the inside of the bolt carrier works very, very well. Novel corkscrew design for cleaning the boat tail of the bolt works pretty good -- if you like things very clean, you'll still need to use a solvent and brush for the last little bit of carbon, and occasionally run a Scotch Brite pad over it if it's nickel boron and you want to remove any discoloration (a manufacturer-approved method). The holes for cleaning the firing pin don't seem to do much, though I think I might have an older version (?) because my scraper has two small holes and no inset, instead of a slot currently pictured. It was also only $26, a few bucks cheaper.

This has made the job so much easier. I shoot often. Large quantities of rounds are fire every training. This has cut the time cleaning my rifle in half.

Great for weapons cleaning
Great on range day. Any Marine can tell you, if you don't slide a 20 in the buttstock, this is the next faster thing to get your armory to take your weapon. Would recommend to any Marine!

Best Carbon Tool
I own about five carbon scrapers for AR/M4 guns. This is by far the best one as it reaches all the way down into the bolt.

Works great
Just received this bolt scraper last night. Grabbed on of my AR15'S that has been run hard and put up wet. It hadn't been cleaned well after the last range trip and had some moderate carbon build up on the bolt. Couple of twists and the carbon was gone. I wish I had one of these when I was in the Army after a week in the field firing blanks those bolt carriers were covered in carbon. I just packaged mine up to ship to my son who is deployed and ordered a second one for myself.
