This was a great little toy for when my son was small - we used it until he was about 5 months old and now we have it slipped to a shelf in his nursery. We used to clip it onto his carseat bucket or stroller during walks or errands, or onto the bars of his activity mat. He loved watching it spin, and grabbing for the pictures. Once he got a bit bigger and was able to grab it he was able to rip the discs off, but they are designed to be able to go back on easily and were quite durable enough to handle him trying to eat them.

One of our favorite toys
My baby seemed to be interested in this mobile from about 1 month. She was staring at it continuously. It isn't made with paper or cardboard which some reviews state, but with thin flexible plastic. It won't fall apart if gets wet, but it won't survive chewing or crumpling as it's not designed for that. Upd. 5 mo and she is still interested in this toy. It works great in the car seat (she hates being there and I'm happy that something can distract her for a while. She has figured out how to take off the lowest circles lately and chews on them. They survived so far, but she has no teeth yet.

I like that you can change the discs around too

Three week old captivated by it
My baby is three weeks old today. He spends a lot of time just staring into space in his pack and play, which seems like a waste of his awake time, but he is not interested in the toys I have. I have a floor mat I lay him on with dangling things, but he is not interested. I took a chance on this mobile, even though it looked lame. He LOVES it. He stared at it for over twenty minutes last night. Right now he's been looking at it for almost an hour while I took a shower and ate breakfast. I feel better about putting him in his rock and play since he has something to look at. It's pretty simple, but he is totally, inexplicably, into it. Worth every penny.

Perfect for under 5 months!
This was definitely in my top 5 favorite toys for newborns! My son loved to stare at the black and white patterns and shapes. We regularly used it in the car, stroller and on flights. We stopped using it as much around 5.5 months because my son was strong enough and mostly interested in pulling off the little discs rather than just looking at the mobile. At that point, his new favorite toy became crinkle/soft books. I've linked our favorite one here. Manhattan Toy - FARMER'S MARKET BOOK - 8 Page Farmer's Market Counting Soft Book that is Loaded with Colorful Vegetable and Fruit Images and Shapes. I am definitely keeping this mobile for my next baby.

Nice Travel/Play Gym Mobile!
Have had this since baby was only a few weeks old and she is 3 months old now. I have placed this in the car attached to the rear headrest to sit flat against seat as well as her play gym at home. The clip is very sturdy plastic so easy to move from one location to the next and is interchangeable with the crib mobile cards. Purchased this before I purchased the crib mobile and bought the crib mobile only because she liked this one so much. I would suggest changing the cards fairly often as the manufacturer recommends in order to keep baby stimulated. Overall great purchase!

... and saw how many people commented that their babies loved it. I was excited to receive it
I read all the reviews before buying this product and saw how many people commented that their babies loved it. I was excited to receive it, but when I opened the package I was underwhelmed by what appeared to be a laminated paper mobile. it was only a few bucks so I figured I'd slap it on my baby's car seat and see if he even noticed it. Well, to my surprise he noticed it right away and loves to stare at it; the reviews were right! It turns out it was worth every penny (I would've paid even a little more!) because of how much my baby enjoys it.

Baby loves it.
My little one loves looking and smiling at this toy. I first put it up for her at 2 weeks and she stared at it in amazement. I'd recommend this toy for small babies to start with their development. She still loves it at almost 2 months

My 3 month old son is bored easily but this mobile holds his attention for up to 30 minutes at a time! That's a big thing for a young baby. It definitely helps that you can clip this thing on to practically anything. I would certainly recommend this product to any parent with a baby or one on the way. It's one of the few purchases that I've made prior to our son's birth that I don't regret.

Best Baby Mat Out There
This is probably the best baby mat out there. With crinkly squares, several peek-a-boo flaps, a mirror, and stark color contrast, this mat has everything needed to keep baby happy. When placed on back, this mat encourages reaching and rolling as there is always an interesting square close by, and another just out of reach. For tummy time this mat encourages baby to stay up longer with things to look at and do. The blanket is soft, with quality stitching and construction. 10/10 prefer it to more traditional baby mats, would absolutely buy it again. This is now a staple for baby showers.
