Worked first time.
Installed this connection hose, following manufacturer's tightening instructions. No leaks. Did take a clue from another review and looped the hose though a bungee cord hooked on the back of the refrigerator to prevent the possibility of binding the cable under the refrigerator when rolling it back into place.

Excellent Product
Hooked this up to my Refrigerator Ice Maker connected to under the sink T connector. Works great and no leaks. I soaked the hose in soapy water overnight before installing to avoid any chemical taste. Much better than the busted copper pipe I ripped out!

Great product
This connector is easy to install and it seems high quality. I'm very happy with it, hence the five star rating. However, I want talk about my experience regarding two issues that several other reviewers have complained about. First, you have to be careful when you push the refrigerator back against the wall, to make sure you don't kink the hose. I had read the reviews complaining about this before I tried installing it, so I was mindful of the potential issue and there was no problem. I kept the hose pulled to the side so it would make a large C shape when the refrigerator was pushed back against the wall, rather than letting the excess hose bunch up in one spot. If you take a similar precaution to keep the hose from bunching, I suspect you'll have no problem. Second, some of the other reviewers have complained about the taste of the ice from this hose. I've gotten bad tasting ice from refrigerators plenty of times, but the ice from this tastes fine. I tossed out the first couple batches of ice to make sure the line was flushed, after reading the negative reviews about the taste. I don't know whether flushing the line was necessary, as I didn't taste any of the ice from the discarded batches, but I can say that by batch three, the ice was great. At this point, the only question left is durability. If I ruptures and floods my house I'll come back and update the review. Until then, it's five stars.

Great for humidifier water line!
I wanted something reliable for my humidifier that won’t cause leaks. I am not a huge fan of polyethylene supply lines with a compression fitting. I have seen some leak. This line was only a few bucks more and well worth it. Very durable and easy to install. I would recommend this to anyone installing a humidifier.

Strong and durable
Installed this for water line to refrigerator during a remodel. Works Great. Recommend to those worried about initial bad taste, simply hook the line to the supply, then flush the line with a gallon or two of water into a bucket, then hook to your refrigerator. Then you don't have to toss the first few batches. Pretty simple.

durable connector, no taste probz after flushing
I used this with my new fridge and it has been great- would like it to be more flexible and have a right angle connector but such a thing does not seem to exist. this feels fery well made. I used a syringe to flush with water before I even connected it and even pushed vinegar through it to help with any possible bad taste. When I hooked it up I flushed the system as recommended by Samsung and did not detect any taste other than clean water. The ice tasted terrible for quite awhile but the Samsung fridge is lined with the most toxic smelling styrofoam that is actually directly visible in the ice bin area so I think that is why the ice tasted so bad. I read reviews before that mentioned bad taste to the ice but not the water which made no sense to me but wonder if the ice bin itself is more to blame in those cases. Anyway, months later I am nothing but happy with this. I do think that flushing it first saved me some frustration but even if you dont, the smell will eventually go away.

Cheap insurance for your icemaker
This is a high-quality braided stainless steel hose to connect your refrigerator's ice maker to the water supply. Many refrigerators come supplied with plastic hoses, which are perfectly fine at first but more prone to failure over time than braided stainless steel. Ever have a plastic water supply line fail inside your house? I have, Trust me, I learned that it was worth spending a few extra bucks for a quality hose. It was a washing machine, but same principle as the icemaker. A braided stainless steel hose is cheap insurance to make sure that your water supply hose lasts the life of your refrigerator, or possibly longer.

No Taste/Easy Install
While I read some reviews on this stating there was a weird taste, I installed this right from the package without rinsing first and without a filter and experience zero taste issues. Matter of fact I couldn't tell the difference between this new line or the old line. Install was a breeze following the directions. I have zero complaints for this line.

GOOD STUFF
Worked perfectly to replace an old 10-12 " copper line that would have eventually bit the dust and created a flood along with it . Fit A OK Pleased

High Quality, No lead
Not much to say other than the hose is made of high quality materials and fit perfectly with no leaks (I'll double-check again in about 1 week). I ran about two gallons of fresh water through this to flush before connecting to a replacement ice maker valve (also purchased from Amazon). Please make sure you run water as I saw plenty of gunk come through, looked like small rubber pieces. I can't say whether this came from the valve under the sink or the hose, but I'm glad I flushed it before installing.
