Destroyer is amazing and worked great the first few times I used it. Then it just absolutely died. Amazon was so helpful and immediately replaced it with a new unit period have been using the new unit for about 2 weeks now and everything seems great. I normally always purchase an extended warranty with any Appliance I buy. Sadly none was offered when I purchased this. It concerns me that Amazon only covers purchases such as this for days I believe? Because reading other reviewers experience with this unit it seems likely it will break down too, possibly outside the 90 days which will leave me with no recourse for replacement or refund. Buyer beware.

This is so perfect for our apartment. It's fast drying and quiet. Well worth the money!

I am the type of person who likes to read reviews on items before I buy them, I noticed there were no reviews for this dryer so if there are any others out there like me, here you go! I love this dryer, I was a little bummed it wasnt on prime, but the shipping price isn't so bad. I searched for quite a few dryers similar to this and they are at least 150 dollars more than this one, the Avaya dryer is very similar to this dryer and many of the reviews stated there was a loud screeching noise when they used their dryer, I have not had this problem with the Panda dryer when it is loaded properly, if you overload it, you will get a high pitched noise. I have the Panda portable washer that holds about 5.5 pounds of clothes so i can do about two loads in the washer and put both in the dryer and it works fine. It does take awhile to dry, but it's better than the 2 days of air drying and now my clothes aren't all scratchy and rough from air drying. No laundry hook ups? hate the laundry mat? I dont think you can go wrong with this dryer. The only downside to this review is i havent received my electric bill yet to determine how much this will cost me, but other reviews for the Avaya dryer said it didnt raise it too much, so we will see. Hope this review helps!

I was used to a full-sized dryer with features such as automatically stopping when the clothes were done and only taking about 45 mins to dry a full load, but as a newly single guy adjusting to apartment living I love this little dryer. It has zero frills, Just works. I leave it set on the "high" setting and set loads to dry for 160-180 mins (big load), 140-160 mins (med load), 120-140 (small load), and 60-80 mins for a single item. Just factor in the extra time it takes to dry your clothes and you'll be fine. It takes awhile to get the clothes up to temperature, so you can't come back later and set the dryer to run for 15-20 more mins if the clothes are still slightly damp like you can with a full-sized dryer. I did that at first and it took forever to dry a load. It plugs into a regular 120v wall outlet which means it consumes less power, but since it takes longer to dry (2-3hrs vs 45mins) I was worried that there would still be a net increase in my electric bill. After a month of running a load 2-3x/wk through this dryer my electric bill was only $20 so apparently, there are no significant costs associated with operating it. It won't connect to a normal vent duct as it is smaller in diameter, but there is no apparent need to as it comes with a weird chimney-like exhaust which I've just left off as well. Also, I took a box of dryer sheets and cut them all in half using a half-sheet per load in this dryer, works perfectly. Pairs well with a Haier Pulsator washer which they are small enough to fit together in a 3 sqft w/d room meant for a combo w/d (which I opted not to get since they are known to have issues).

I love the looks, of this thing... and it operates, very well, now. When I got it, I was presuming the drum is supposed to, move?? Mine, wasn't! Didn't want to have to send it back, straight away, figuring that it is probably a missing belt, or something, so I tried calling the phone number in the manual. A full day, later, no answer. Was going to send email, but it hit me that maybe I could just arrange for my own, service call, to put the belt back on. Well...outcome was, excellent. I didn't have to return it. The belt is now on the drum and it turns, as it is supposed, to do! In addition, the dryer gets really hot, and dries clothes, well! Drawback would be its size, because it has a little bit of a problem drying 2 queen-sized sheets...but one, doesn't take very long, at all. I'm very happy, with this dryer. I can highly recommend, this dryer.

The dryer is used in conjunction with the portable washer Haier HLP21N. My setup is in a downtown condominium where i was unable to install a dryer vent, and unable to run a drain for the washer. This setup is used for 2 active adults. The washer does a great job, not a single complaint.. Look up how to get a quick disconnect system on the water supply line, this will make it much easier to use. The dryer operates beautifully, it is normal dryer amount of noise. The clothes come out dry and smelling great. I would suggest running this to a indoor dryer vent similar to the ones that are normally purchased with this unit and recommended on the main page. The lint filter that is built in does stop most, but a little gets through. i dont want to deal with dusty laundry lint everywhere. i would buy this item again, i would recommend it to a friend. we have been using it for more than 8 months now. Very happy!

I bought this back in January to go with the Panda washer I'd been happily using for over six months at that point. I couldn't be happier with it. I'm using it as I write this--I have two pairs of pants, three shirts, and a few socks and underwear in there and I suspect they'll be dry within 2 hours, and I generally don't use the hot setting for more than 20 minutes on a load. I've never timed how long it takes to dry the clothes because it doesn't matter now that I don't have to go to a laundromat...thank you, Panda! But seriously, I bought this dryer with just a little reservation after reading some of the less stellar reviews. I think one reviewer mentioned something about damp clothes. Dry your clothes long enough and they'll come out dry, warm, and fluffy--I've never had a problem with damp clothes. Again, I don't worry about how long it takes since I can now throw the clothes in the dryer, walk away, and do something else with that time. I think another reviewer mentioned something about the lint filter being difficult to clean. It's not. There is a pad that sits behind the lint collector that can get fairly linty, but it's job is to collect what the lint filter doesn't--just remove the bigger pieces of lint that get caught on it and you'll be fine for several loads. Every now and then either change it or give it a good cleaning. Also, I'm not sure why people think removing the lint filter is difficult--yeah, it's located in the back of the dryer, which takes some getting used to, but once you get the hang of it (like the second or third time), you'll probably be fine. Like many other reviewers, I LOVE this dryer. I had to go to the laundromat for nearly four years before purchasing my little Panda washer. That and a drying rack and I was in heaven. However, having lint and cat hair on my misshapen air-dried clothes was getting old, as was having a drying rack in the bathtub at all times. This was one of the best purchases I've made on Amazon. Oh, and shipping was FAST--I got my dryer within a week of purchasing it. I live in a major urban area, so your millage may vary.

Oh boy are we in love with this dryer!!! We got it so fast! Not having a dryer in an apartment can really be a bummer for some things like towels! It's the simple things in life, like a little cute dryer running drying my towels and cutting outthe need to run over to the laundry mat! I'm so thankful! I've had it for about a week and I'm really impressed. So far, it drys 4 big towels in a decent amount of time. I also dried a sheet, fitted sheet, and 4 pillow cases in under 30 minutes! Thank you so much!

I love this product. I paired it with a different brand washer, solely due to dimensions. I literally found 42 inches of space in my bathroom between the sink and the tub and slipped both this dryer and a washer in that space. Look at the product dimensions and measure where you want to put yours. This dryer also came with the whole kit to hang it on the wall, but I have a window there, so I left it on the floor. They work perfectly—exactly like an ordinary washer and dryer, only in mini-size. The dryer plugs right into an ordinary outlet, as if plugging in a printer or computer. Just make sure to use a surge protector, as I have done, like you would for any other important appliance. The dial uses warm, hot or cold temperatures, and it has a button to select high heat. Treat this like a real dryer, the high heat is just as capable of shrinking your clothes. The vent is easy to move. So, I pull it up and stick it out the window while running, then pull it down and hide it behind the dryer when not running. It’s quiet enough that if I shut the bathroom door, I don’t really hear it anywhere else in my 2 bedroom apartment. I put it on bath mats to absorb sound so as not to disturb my downstairs neighbors.

This dyrer is really good for an apartment. I'm by myself and it does a great job. My electric didn't sky rocket either! A couple of dollars it went up. WELL worth it.
