Great microfiber head with loops instead of single microfiber lines. I am a house cleaner, and this exact item has the type of microfiber that works better than any of the refills available on Amazon and in home improvement stores. DONT PUT IN THE DRYER! Air dry only! The heat from the dryer will take away from the ability for the microfiber loops to pick up dust particles. Shipping was quick, product is durable and great!

I own a cleaning business and noticed this while actually looking for something else.... I bought one.. with in a few hours I knew I was going to throw out swifter... this things had pivots mult-positional like swifter telescoping handle, HEAVEY DUTY... longer reach, WASHABLE pads(makes it quite cost effective) that SNAP on thus no sliding off like swifter pads... much larger head cover more area resulting in faster time done...the unit is 15$,comes with a pad, I bout an extra pad 5$...will last forever... forget swifter and their pads at a dollar a pop there about .. buy yourself an OXO Duster today!

I could not make up my mind which of two extendable dusters to purchase. So I got them both (since I have a two-story house, it does make it convenient to have a duster on each floor for spider webs!) and am keeping them both. They are similar, but each has a different advantage that I value. Here are my plusses and minuses, by number of stars, for this duster, the OXO Good Grips Microfiber Extendable Duster and the Eurow Electrostatic Duster with 3 sections extension pole in a few categories. As you can see, I like both of these dusters! 1. How well does the dust-head work? ***** 5 stars Oxo - The cleaning head is very soft, but the filaments are wider and shorter, more cloth-like, than the extremely soft ones of the Eurow. This makes the Oxo not as good on objects like the masks. However, the Oxo is better on general, and especially on more heavy-duty, dusting. I don't dust as often as I should, so the tops of hanging painting frames, for example, can get quite a layer of dust. The Oxo is better at capturing the thicker dust, rather than just pushing it off of the frames. I don't have a ceiling fan to try it on, but I would think this would work well on dusting the top of the fan blades. ***** 5 stars Eurow - The cleaning head is made up of soft filaments. This duster is better at plain old dusting of objects with crevices. For example, we have a set of leather masks hanging on the wall. The very light filaments can be swirled around the masks, fluffing away dust in all the folds and crevices, without in any way damaging the masks. This picks up spider webs and dustballs, but just regular soft dust, in spite of the "electrostatic" in the duster's name, is more fluffed into the air. 2. How adjustable is the dust-head? **** 4 stars Oxo - The head itself is not flexible, which, again, can be very handy, especially for more heavy-duty jobs. However, you can easily change the angle of the head using the sturdy button at it's connection to the pole. **** 4 stars Eurow - The head is made with a heavy wire center, rather like a giant pipe-cleaner. This can be bent into a curve or at a soft right-angle, which can be very handy. The wire center is sturdy, though, it's not like you can twist it into a pretzel. And, like a pipe-cleaner, once you've bent it, it takes a bit of work to get it perfectly straight again. (Not that it would make much difference if it isn't perfectly straight.) 3. Ease of extension and adjustability? ****+ 4.5 stars Oxo - The Oxo is shorter, extending to 54" total. I'm only taking half a star off for that because it's length is plenty for most places. The head is heavier than the Eurow's head, but still easy to direct at 54". However, around anything a bit delicate, the fully extended Oxo, especially as it's dust-catching fibers are shorter, will need a little more care and control. ***** 5 stars Eurow - The Eurow can go up to 76", which is a very nice length indeed, especially as it is very light and I have no trouble directing it when fully extended. It isn't long enough to reach the ceiling in the two-story entry-way (without a ladder), but every where else it can handle. 4. How easy is the dust-head to clean? ***** 5 stars Oxo - The dust-head is removable, as it's attached with a snap. You can wash it in the machine, or just swish it around in water or soapy water. Extending the pole is easy; retracting is easy. ***** 5 stars Eurow - The dust-head doesn't come off the pole, but it is super easy to clean. If shaking it off isn't enough, just run it under the tap. Extending the pole is easy; retracting is easy. I spend 2 or 3 minutes to walk around a room and use this just, reaching up to the ceiling corners and edges, before running the Rumba. This OXO picks up most dust, and knocks the rest to the floor for the Rumba. Actually, I also carry the OXO Good Grips Microfiber Delicate Duster in my other hand, to dust pictures and other items while dusting the ceiling with one hand.

I really like this duster. It picks up a ton of dust and can be flipped to the other side for extended use in really dusty situations. It also washes up well retaining its shape and dusting ability. The only complaint I have is that the pole is a little on the heavy side and can make it somewhat awkward when fully extended. However, this is probably due to the pole being very well made and not flimsy at all. I feel like this product will last awhile.

I was a cleaning machine out on the patio, attacking cob webs on the extended patio, around windows, everywhere! It really works well. The microfiber material grabs everything and I do mean everything. Stucco on the side of the house around the windows, metal snags on patio furniture, etc. But I don't care because it worked so well for dust and cob webs. There is a small plastic snap type button that goes into a hole on the wand. I hope it doesn't break. I'll let you know if it does. The cover snapped off for washing. However, it was so dirty from using it outside so I didn't want to put it in the wash with anything else and decided to hand wash it. It came mostly clean. Perhaps it isn't made for outside, but it really works for me. It extends just the right amount to reach the patio cover. I'm happy.

First of all, this has a pivoting head with a button lock and teeth so it stays put where you set it in different positions (Pictures). The duster is machine washable which is a huge plus for dust and allergies. The handle is extendable and twists to stay in place. Does a great job cleaning the top of the cabinets, air vents, and fan.

I love, love, love this. I bought it over a year ago, and it quickly became one of my “go to” cleaning tools. I live in a very dusty environment and use this to reach spaces above my head as well as things like baseboards. I also find it very convenient for getting into some of the nooks and crannies of furniture. I essentially have my vacuum in one hand and this in the other, and between the two of them I can get the job done. I use my vacuum nozzle to clean the duster as I go, and that extends the length of time I can use the microfiber pad before washing.

I love the length of the handle, and the way it can effectively get to even difficult surfaces- like exposed beams, and overhead fans. The dusting part is very effective at capturing dust and cobwebs, which helps me when cleaning high ceilings, and artwork mounted on/in them! Another excellent, thoughtfully designed product from OXO! (No, I am not affiliated, I just tend to really like their products.)

My son gave me a gift card for Christmas. I have had such a great time shopping with it and this was one of my first choices. It is very good quality. We live in an older home with ceilings that are 8-9 feet tall and I have no problem reaching the crown molding with this. I am 5' 5". It is well made. Some I have seen have a weakness when you telescope them out but this one is sturdy. I don't generally buy things like this for gifts but I want to get my sister and both our boys one for their homes.
