We cannot believe how much dust and debris this duster is able to collect. After trying the disposable Swiffer dusters, we were looking for a more environmentally and wallet friendly solution. This duster exceeded our expectations! It picks up everything from dust to crumbs to pet hair with ease. Once you have dusted to your hearts content, simply toss the dusting head in the washing machine, air dry and you are ready to go dust bunny hunting again. We have always loved the OXO brand and this duster does not disappoint!

A high-performing, easily washable and reusable duster

This was exactly what I needed. The item looks exactly like the picture. The soft fabric on the duster is great at sweeping dust (though it's important to note that it doesn't exactly "collect" it; some dust gets trapped, and a good bit can fall on the ground depending on how dust you let things get), and the handle is just the right length. My favorite thing about this duster is how securely the fabric is attached the handle and yet how easily it is removed and washed. I ran it through the machine washer and dryer after the first use and it came out just as clean and soft as before. A high-performing, easily washable and reusable duster.

Great for cleaning pet hair off outside of electronics

I was using single-use dusters and dusting cloths, and I decided I was tired of the constant waste and cost. Why keep reordering products when I can buy something once and shorten my shopping list? The good: - Picks up pet hair off of solid surfaces on my entertainment center and other shelves - It can be washed so you have a clean one every time - Pretty heavy duty, can pick up a lot in one session and be tossed in the washer The not so good: - Sometimes it leaves behind stray hairs or smudges which may have to be followed up with glass cleaner and a rag or paper towel. However, still less waste than disposable cloth dusters. - Be careful what detergent you use, don't use fabric softener sheets in the dryer or it gets matted looking and doesn't pick up much

forget swiffer! this thing is amazing!

i bought this like forever ago and it is the best! i was using swiffer disposable things but i felt terrible about using them once or twice and them tossing them in the trash. i was not a fan of microfiber until i got this. the fibers pick up dust like a dream- cobwebs, shelves, tv screens, and i even use it across the sides of my ps4 to get the dust bunnies out of the little nooks where the fans are. and the cloth just slides on and snaps to the handle, so you can just take it off and throw it in the washing machine. i put mine in the dryer on low, and it didnt seem to damage it, but i wouldnt put it in on high heat in case it looses its shape.

Having multiple dogs and cats and living in the middle of a dusty desert, I need to dust a lot. For years, I used just rags or the occasional feather-like duster, and they worked okay. The rags, unless they were slightly damp or I used something like Endust (do they still make that stuff?), just pushed the dust around. The faux feather dusters did mostly push the dust around. I tried Swiffers, but I really didn't like the idea of adding unnecessarily to landfills, and I didn't like the fairly expensive refills - like I said, I have to dust a lot. So I took a chance on this microfiber duster and I love it. The fabric is so soft, no issues of it being too scratchy for even the most delicate surfaces. The length allows me to dust wide swaths of flat surfaces easily, but the end is small enough to get into those smaller spaces. When it collects dust, I just take it outside and give it a good shake, and I'm ready to go on dusting. When it gets really dirty, I can just toss it in the laundry. I haven't bought a refill cover yet, or priced them, but this original one seems to hold up very well so I probably won't need to get an additional cover for quite some time unless I decide to have an extra for when I've already tossed the original into the laundry basket. The only negative is that when I first used this duster, some of the fibers were not secure and it shed a bit. I'm not talking bald spots or anything drastic, just a few stray fibers that probably should have been shaken out at the end of the manufacturing process.

Makes my life so much easier!

This is a really good duster! The material really grabs the dust, it doesn't just push the dust around or off the items you're dusting like a lot of other dusters sold. This is exactly what I was hoping it would do! Just dusted everything with it...tables, chair legs, bar stools, windowsills, top of fridge, etc. and it is a godsend for me! Makes my reach much better and I feel like it's really cleaning...not like I'll have to get it better at a later date with a rag and my hand...so pleased with this, it will certainly make my "old arthritic granny" life a lot easier...just like all the OXO products I own!

I Bought Two of These Bad Boys

My first microfiber hand duster worked well and I dusted away like nobody's business. In the middle of my task I put the duster on the table and went to the ladies room to answer nature's call. When I returned to the duster I discovered that my dog had found it and was thoroughly enjoying ripping it to shreds in the back yard. I ordered another one and was able to keep it and use it for a few months. I'm not sure how exactly, but the eventually the dog found it again and again shredded it all over the back yard. To this day I am still picking up bits of red fluff. This duster works so well, I should have ordered a third one, but I am clearly not a responsible hand duster owner. My dog, on the other hand, can't wait for another red, fluffy toy.

This Became My New Best Friend, So I Bought Even Another One

Oh, this became my new best friend. Ever have one of those moments where you get into cleaning and you just can't stop? You just find all of these things to clean because you are on a roll? Well that's what this product brings about. When I received it I went into dusting frenzy. I had been looking for a duster and so there was a little build up of dust on some items. This is microfiber and is machine washable. It actually reminds me of the old California Dusters that were sold some years ago for your car. You could use this on your car to wipe away the dust. In fact, I enjoyed this item so much that I bought another one just for the car. The handle does have a really nice grip to it. And the duster adds length to your arm so that you can get into places easier. It cleans corners and crevices well. I have some items that have grooves and this gets in there and cleans them. The microfiber is also thick, so you can tell that it will last a long time.

Buy one and you wonder how you ever lived without it. More effective than a Swiffer while also being more environmentally friendly, but my biggest concern is a duster that pics up dust quickly and effectively. Particularly significant in this item is the shape of the head and the handle which make it ideal for a number of places. Combined with the other Oxo dusting devices especially the one designed for more delicate items, turns you into the dust Terminator. Unlike the Swiffer, the heads can be popped off easily do to yet another ingenious oxxo design and tossed in the washing machine. Even gave a few as stocking stuffer type items and people love them.

Easy Duster

I've only had this for a short time but already love it. Being allergic to dust mites, housework tends to produce allergic reactions whether I clean or not. So dust accumulates between bouts of bravery and cowardice until I'm forced to be more proactive. I love how this picks up even heavy layers of dust while keeping a distance. Shaking it out is easy, and once you decipher the snap attachment to remove the duster from the handle, it's easily dropped into the washer.
