Worth every penny! These work AWESOME!

Starting with the way they're made. It's a pouch, sealed at the top where there is a nice thick piece of material with a heavy grommet in it. You can hang them when they're not in your shoes, or tie a piece of string to them to help pull them out of your boots. After a week of manual labor in 90 degree weather, my boots REEKED! I ordered these & immediately put them in my boots when they arrived. By morning there was absolutely no smell from my boots (Keep in mind you couldn't go in the same room as my boots before I got these). I use them in 2 pairs of boots, and both of them are now allowed to remain in the closet instead of being banished to the porch! I'll definitely be purchasing more for the other lonely shoes in our family!

What do you know? They work!

I bought these for a family member who didn't want a fragranced or toxic deodorizer, as she is asthmatic. Bamboo charcoal deodorizers seemed to fit the bill, but I wondered if they work. These Mini Moso Bags from Moso Natural are 2.5 x 7 x 1 inches in size –actually one of my bags is 2.75 inches wide, but they are smushable. Each bag contains 50 grams of bamboo charcoal in a liner that is covered with a charcoal grey heathered fabric. Each bag weighs about 2 ounces. Each has a grommet that you could use for hanging or even for attaching a string to make it easy to pull them out of your shoes, should you happen to have very large shoes. I'm not sure what the fabric content of the cover is. Moso calls it linen. If it's linen, it's coated with something; it feels like polyester. Apparently, bamboo charcoal acts as a deodorizer by trapping the big, stinky molecules in its many pores. Bamboo charcoal can have as much as 600 square meters of surface area per gram due to its extreme porousness. Moso recommends reviving the sachets by placing them in direct sunlight once a month. I'm not sure how well this works in the winter, when UV indices are low. Moso claims that the sachets can be reused for up to two years. Ever Bamboo, another big vendor of bamboo charcoal products, says one year. Your experience may vary. You'll know it's time to replace them when they no longer work. Both companies suggest that old pouches be cut open and the charcoal added to soil in your garden, where it will help regulate moisture. My family member is pleased with these. She puts them in her most-worn shoes overnight and they don't smell bad in the morning. The charcoal sachets don't smell bad either. They have no odor. The charcoal has trapped the offending molecules so that they can't escape. She is entirely satisfied with the Moso Bags, which is a surprise. Conveniently, each sachet has a tag in the side seam on which you can write the date that you opened the package –so you will hopefully remember when to take them for a sunbath and when it might be time to replace. It's nice to find an inexpensive, nontoxic product that works. The Moso Bags may not work to everyone's satisfaction, but we are happy here. The theory is sound, so they are definitely worth a try for odor control.

A fantastic product, with one tiny exception

These pretty little bags of charcoal are powerhouses for deoderizing your shoes. I haven't used them anywhere else, so I can't vouch for other claims, but for stinky shoes they really get the job done. I walk my dog a mile twice a day, so my hiking shoes get a daily workout. I also must wear orthotics for problem feet, so my feet tend to sweat. When I take off my hikers at bedtime, I put these babies in the damp, smelly shoes overnight, and next morning voila! The shoes and orthotics are dry and have no smell. One BIG caveat, and why I gave them a low score for durability: DO NOT GET THEM WET. I put them out in the sun for a second recharging and it rained befire I could get them back inside. A good soaking apparently changes the composition of the charcoal contents, transforming it from a light weight, particulate material to a mostly solidified mass. I'm trying to dry them inside, but 24 hours later they're still a sodden mess. Next time I'll try putting their replacement in a plastic bag when recharging after checking on whether that could interfere with the effectiveness of sunlight's abiliity to recharge the charcoal).

They work!

They get rid of the smell and what I like about the product is that it had NO ODOR. It gets rid of smelly shoes without masking the smell. I also didn't want to get a nice smell instead, which is what the the products I had seen were offering. Tough stuff and natural!

Magic!

I have a pair of black leather flats that stank so badly my husband would yell at me if I took them off anywhere near him. But I love the shoes!!! So I had to find something to make the stench go away without leaving me with an allergic reaction. Mini Moso was the answer. I honestly couldn’t believe it. A few days after placing them in my prized off shoes I took a whiff from about a foot away. Nothing. I got closer. Nothing. I stuck my nose practically in the shoe. Ok, maybe that’s pushing things, but I’ve got to tell you that 95% of the broken-in leather grossness was gone. So happy!!!

Amazing

I didn't think these were going to work! I was amazed when they did! I'm in sales and I hate wearing socks with my slip ons - I don't like to admit it but when I got home my shoes were not smelling the best! Every since I started to use these - they helped so much! My shoes don't smell like the previous day. As I said - it's not something I like to admit but these really help. Every night when I get home - I shake them and put them in my shoes - the next day - they are fresh and ready to wear. It is also great that all I need to do to recharge/refresh these is to put them on the window seal and they go back to fresh.

Safe and friendly

Buying from this seller was a good experience. They cared about how I liked the product. The linen packaging was perfect. I purchased these to put in the compartment of the dome kitty box I own. The dome sits on the stair landing to the basement. The basement door is not fully shut so the kitty can enter/exit at any time and is out of sight. The odors from the kitty box never escape upstairs into my living space. It really does it's job so I purchase a larger bag to put in the actual basement space and it also freshened that up so now I have a little redecorating to do to make an additional living space for myself and move my living room downstairs. I will not hesitate as I know the odor will be contained. I love the packaging and fits in well and looks like decor. Plan to purchase a few more bags for my clothing closet. This is a good buy and safe for everyone in the home.

Reusable, Safe, Extremely Convenient!

Absolutely great find! Long day at work rocking those cute boots? Sweating at the gym running those sneakers? Everyone has sweat glands on their feet, and overtime, bacteria and odor can collect in those rockin boots and runnin sneakers. After you take them off for the day, just simply stuff this inside the shoe, leave it overnight, ascend viola! Fresh and brand new! Absolutely try this product, worth it!!!

Amazing!

These purifying bags are amazing. I've been a soccer player my whole life, and I have always struggled with finding a solution to my smelly soccer cleats. I tried manually washing them, leaving them outside, spraying them...nothing seemed to get rid of the smell. Gone are the days of sticking my cleats in an enclosed bag, throwing them in the back corner of my closet, and hoping nobody notices the smell (including myself). These purifying bags have been the perfect solution. I simply leave a bag in each cleat, wait a couple of days, and the smell is nearly completely gone! Nowadays, the only time I smell anything bad related to my soccer cleats is if my hold the cleats up to my nose and inhale very strongly. I no longer worry about the cleats smelling, my closet smelling, or even the bags I would place them in smelling. These are useful for getting rid of other smells as well. I use these bags for my other shoes, my car, trash cans, my bathroom, you name it...these will successfully eliminate bothersome odors. And the best part about them: they are reusable! Simply place them in the sun for a day, and they are refreshed + ready to use again. I've owned these purifying bags for 3+ years, and they still work just as well as the first time I used them. No issues whatsoever with durability. I cannot recommend these enough. I use them on a daily basis now, and am very grateful they exist!

Excellent product!

This is the second set we've purchased, after trialing them on my husband's work shoes for a few months and seeing great results. They dry out sweaty shoes, reduce odors, and keep regularly worn footwear feeling fresh. Every few months I do remember to set them out in the sunshine for an hour, which is super simple as far as product maintenance goes. We keep them right with our shoe rack, ready to rest in any shoe that comes along. Thanks for a great item!
