the free prime shipping was wonderful! Dishwasher fits perfectly next to my sink in ...
This dishwasher was priced below Menards and Lowes so it made sense to purchase on Amazon. Plus, the free prime shipping was wonderful! Dishwasher fits perfectly next to my sink in place of a retro/1960s smaller cabinet! 😊

Nice and quite
Loving our new little dishwasher. We recently retired and downsized to a smaller house. The kitchen had no dishwasher. Having concerns about giving up so much cabinet space, our plumber suggested a smaller dishwasher, which I never knew existed. After reading all the reviews, and not finding any in stores, decided to order online. If you hire a plumber like we did, be sure to look it over beforehand for dents or damage in case you have to send it back. Ours had a small dent that I felt wouldn't really show. The installation went great. Cleans dishes beautifully and nice and quiet. Perfect for the two of us.

Brilliant option for retrofits
If you want a dishwasher but lack a suitable 24” space next to the sink, and hadn’t thought it possible to retrofit one without installing new lower cabinets (and spending way more money), look no further! With this size of appliance, I was able to cut out a cabinet next to my sink and slip it right in. The 18" width is, of course, a smaller size of dishwasher than most (typically 24”), but it is nevertheless a huge upgrade from hand-washing dishes. I can’t imagine it would be that great for a large family, but for a two- or three-member household it is very efficient. If you know how to use a modern dishwasher correctly, you will find this model cleans dishes very well. It’s amusing to me that people don’t consider that perhaps they need to learn where to place dishes inside, or how much detergent to use, and write off the cause of their troubles as poor design instead. Any modern name-brand dishwasher will clean dishes well if it’s being used right, including this one.

Great little dishwasher
We have an older home, smaller kitchen, and when remodeled by previous owner they used this size dishwasher. Oddly the smaller footprint has always been more expensive but this is a great deal compared with big box stores. We had an older Kenmore (made by Frigidaire) that had issues after 10 years so this is the replacement. It did come with some damage (as if it were dropped), but an easy fix with the old dishwasher feet (which were larger anyway), so didn't return (no cosmetic damage). While very similar to the Kenmore, there are a few cost cutting changes such as smaller feet, less smooth rollers for the racks, etc. but haven't affected operation. As this was a replacement, no additional hoses or components were needed, I can't speak to a new install. A few notes: - It's smaller than "normal" so no, you can't get as many dishes in it as full size but we are used to the size so that's not a problem. Just need to find the dish placement that works for you - Silverware basket does have a top with little holes that would make it challengingto put silverware in piece by piece but it's removable and we don't use it. Kenmore had the same and no issues over the years, just make sure spoons, forks aren't "spooning" and it's fine. - With dishes in it's super quiet ... much more than the Kenmore was. (though it can be loud if no dishes are inside) - Note that the default is to have heated dry on, so if you have a lot of plastic, kids dishes, etc. turn it off - must do so for each run. - If it's super full all the soap may not rinse out of the soap dispenser (we fill only one side of the soap dispenser). Kenmore was the same, if you have an issue with that leave one glass space open on the top front for more water to hit the dispenser. - After a few weeks it's performing great. Quiet as I said, dishes are nice and clean (we always rinse a little before loading as there isn't a built in disposal). Even pots/pans come out clean as long as there isn't burned on food. - A lot of the cons I've seen are from missed expectations. Use a little common sense and expect it to be what it is and you'll have a great dishwasher for years. While there are some features I would love to see (built in disposal, backlit display, indicator for where in the cycle you are (rinse, wash, etc.)), I knew it didn't have them and didn't want to pay hundreds more for those features that I can live without.

She May Be Little, But She Be Fierce!
Had to replace my old (Whirlpool) dishwasher after nearly 20 years. A cape with a small kitchen & only room for an 18” dishwasher. Which is a lot more expensive than the standard bigger models (why?!) so I researched for a few weeks. Checked Lowes, Home Depot, Best Buy etc- this one was the best deal on an 18” with good reviews (& a Frigidaire- not just a “no name” brand). It was delivered in 2 days FREE with amazon primary, easy installation for a homeowner with basic experience (not me! Lol) I got the stainless steel and it looks great. The inside may be a teeny bit smaller than my last dishwasher but it’s pretty much inconsequential. It’s been a few weeks and so far, so good! It cleans really really well! Very happy with this purchase!

Outstanding little machine!
October 2016. Wanted to give the machine a few months of service before writing this review, of which the theme is in a word, outstanding. What a little pistol this Frigidaire has been thus far! I come from great kitchens and good, expensive, full-size dishwashers; I'm picky and attentive to machinery. I dread buying plastic-based machines made in China. Was not sure what to expect from this "apartment" dishwasher. Well guess what, it's great! I'm 3 full months in. I had it professionally installed by a plumber who knew what to do; a good place to start. I run it 3-4x a week, I keep the rinse-aid compartment full and I use a small-to-medium amount of dish washing detergent and use the LIGHT wash feature every time as an energy-saving attempt ~ it has never failed to deliver sparkling dishes, serve-ware and flatware which are done in the middle of the night (another energy-saving attempt) using the 2 or 4--hour delay start feature. If you're noise sensitive, this is a normal-to-quiet machine, but again I had a real pro install it with the incentive to do it well, no half-baked install here... I would bet that some of the complaints here stem from people getting excited about this inexpensive price point, but then throwing a home-brewed install at it. Just an observation. It's great looking, my kitchen looks like a little Paris or New York City kitchen. People notice it! Women, go ooohhh this dishwasher is cute! It has a sparkly stainless interior which perhaps is staying so nice as I keep the rinse-aid compartment full. Ask me any questions here if you want - I'm an appliance snob and I've paid close attention to this little guy so I could make a thoughtful review for all of you, my Amazonian brethren. BTW, the delivery was good, I opened it with the plumber present a couple days before install as I had read the reviews in which some arrived damaged and I didn't want my install appointment day botched by opening a botched machine. He and I determined it was all systems go and he returned a couple days later for a 3-hour install which included a little under-sink re-routing of a pipe to make room for it. I paid him $600 and was glad for it. How exciting to have this cute dishwasher to my rescue, and honestly it works like a trooper. Super happy about it! PS - we all use dishwashers differently, and if you believe commercials and marketing that make it look like dishwashers can clean an un-rinsed lasagna platter, we'll you're just inexperienced. I don't put anything EGGY or CHEESY or heavily FATTED into my machine without 80% rinsing it with warm water first. I don't want stink or fat rinsing into my new DW pipes so I manage that over the trash can or down a warm sudsy kitchen sink first. While we're on the subject of care & performance, I also run my garbage disposal with hot water and a little dish soap before I hit my start button (in most cases, your garbage disposal shares an exit pipe with your DW, so you should just know that whatever unfinished business you have in your garbage disposal drain will present itself as odors or problems over in your machine. Love this little dynamo 18" machine! February 2018 - still great! Sparkling dishes and a super clean machine interior. Every now and then I take a cotton ball with some alcohol on it and run it around the edges and seams of the interior compartments just because I like it clean & shiny and this lifts the lime deposits. One of the best appliance purchases I've ever made.

Perfect for us
This is our first dishwasher that we ever purchased. We couldn't find a dishwasher small enough to fit our tiny kitchen in stores. We were looking online for a store that sells small dishwashers and found this on Amazon. We were a bit hesitant buying an appliance online, but we breathed a sigh of relief when it arrived quickly. The installation was easy. My husband has never installed one before, and he had no problems doing it! It works like a charm. It's relatively quiet, and it does a really good job washing without leaving marks. Life without having to hand wash dishes have never been sweeter!

Great Dishwasher in New Kitchen Upgrade
Nice stainless addition to new LG stainless fridge. Shipping came damaged with a few dings and bent frame. My plumber/installer was able to make it work! Once of screw on legs was nearly bent off. WOuld NOT order an appliance from AMZN again!

Love it.
Came in with a dent in the back. I took pictures of the box because who likes to have issues with stuff they order online. But it was ok and the dent was in the back. Works awesome. And I'm glad I went stainless.

Looks nice
Had a very small kitchen and had no choice but to order an 18” - I went with this because of the brand.
