Got this direct box taking a risk on a cheaper product. I normally use the Radial J48 active DI and the Avalon DI. I purchased this cheaper direct box and plugged it into a Digidesign Profile console and used it on an acoustic guitar and was very happy with the sound. The volume it puts off is a bit lower (10db) compared to the J48. Glad I got this as a part of my equipment!

Cheap...

I bought 3 of these to connect 3 guitars to Behringer X32 in our church. Heavy duty made, you can hurt somebody if you hit them with this. LOL. So far no problems. No diminished sound quality. Very happy with the purchase so far. Ground loop switch eliminates hum if there is any. Very happy with the purchase. If there are negative changes I will update later.

Great for the price

A DI box is an essential tool if you're an acoustic guitarist that plays live. Good sound, no static in the line and very inexpensive. I see no use in paying a lot of money for one these considering they are just a relay.
