Worked great to connect to my 3-bank battery charger on my older Procraft boat. Before installing this, I was having to crawl up on the boat, raise a cover in the stern of my boat and reach in to feel for the plug end in a location that I really could not see well in order to connect the plug to an extension cord to recharge the batteries. This item fit almost perfect in the same hole next to the passenger seat where the original port plug was located. That plug was connected to a battery charger that quit working and was removed before I bought the boat. I used a rotary tool to ream out the hole in the fiberglass just slightly so that the new port plug would fit. I did need to drill 3 new holes to fasten this port plug to the fiberglass with the included screws, but this was very easy to do. The trickiest part was routing the cord from my charger in the battery compartment up around the gas tank and into the port plug hole to connect it to the new port plug. But, with a couple tries and an extra set of eyes from my wife to help guide me, I was able to get the job done. When plugging the charger cord into the cord for the port plug, I made a loose knot in the cords to reduce the chance of the plugs vibrating loose. Connecting the extension cord to the battery charger is now a piece of cake!

Wonderful as always from NOCO. I use this as the main input for my 16 foot Scamp fiberglass trailer. While you may worry about the amp handling ability of this thing, note that while the cable is only 16 gauge, it's also only a foot long. That means you can pull 20 amps through it with no issue. It is rated for that? No. Have I tested it for heat by drawing 20 amps for an hour? YES. It barely got above ambient temp anywhere. Tested with an IR laser guided temp tester. I use this with my little IG800W generator to augment my 400 watt Renogy solar setup. It does everything I need it to do for WAY less than a typical removable power cable setup. The added bonus is not carrying that massive and heavy 30 amp cable around anymore too. I never needed that much power in my little trailer.

This thing is amazing. I used it on our 2015 Ram 1500 Ecodiesel. I drilled a 2 1/8" hole in the black plastic that is next to the driving lights and mounted it there. You would never notice it unless you were looking for it. Nice construction and works perfect with the Kat's 28500 block heater cord. Like a few other people, I did have to shave the "nub" off of the top of my extension cord for it to fit in the NOCO hole. If the plug would have been flat across the top, there would have been no problem with fitment.

I will start out by saying this is a quality product, well made and designed. Easy to install. In my case I used it to provide an internal connection for a maintenance charger. I have a 7x14 cargo trailer that I use to transport and store my Harley Electraglide. During the winter months I store the motorcycle in the cargo trailer which is housed in my pole building. This keeps the dirt and dust off of it and rodents out. For this reason I did not want any holes that would let dust and varmints in. This works perfectly and has a 16" pigtail that extends from the back of the plug. It has a water tight rubber plug that keeps the weather and dirt out when not in use. This product offered me a factory finish like solution. Very pleased with the results. This product would be ideal for similar marine or RV applications.

No more hanging extension cord sticking out of my grill! I drilled a hole in the cowling and mounted this baby and it works great and looks great and is weather tight when closed! Love it, especially for the price!

I have a long standing tradition of making things way more complex than needed. All i needed is power to operate a battery tender for my mower in the shed over the winter. The shed is 12 feet from the garage. Naturally, it didn't take long for me to begin thinking of digging trenches, panel boards, #6 UF cable --- because after i might just need to operate a who knows what out there (12 feet from the garage) and it might be handy to.... Stop, just stop. Enter this gadget - drill a 2" hole, apply a little clear silicone around hole, install 3 screws and plug in a decent extension cord from the outdoor outlet on the garage. Inside, plug in battery tender, close door and walk away. Done. Nice and robustly made unit, surprisingly well packaged (manufacturer). Easy, economical and functional solution that could be applied to many different needs.

Super easy to install! 2" hole saw and predrill screws in fiberglass makes it a breeze. Cord is plenty long for hooking up to charger plug. Looks great when installed and keeps the water out. I would recommend putting just a bit of clear silicone around hole before screwing in place just to prevent any water seeping in over time but it isn't necessary as it does have a rubber seal.

Great product took about 15 minutes to install. 2" metal hole saw is required. Make sure to check amperage rating of extension cord for intended purpose. I would also suggest a bead of silicon around the hole underneath the gasket. Self tapper with 1/2in screws to secure.

Great design, fast free shipping with Prime. I purchased this 125V/13A AC Port plug to enhanced the appearance and location (placement) of the electric cable for the engine block immersion heater plug for a 2017 Dodge Ram w/ Cummins 6.7L diesel. High quality and rugged plastic designed in USA and Manufactured in China. It has a 300V rated plug and cable that easy attach to an extension cord or power supplying device. The waterproof design makes it ideal for the harsh rainy seasons in Washington state. Using a 2" hole saw I was able to professionally mount this outlet port securing it snugly with the 3- self tapping fasteners that are included. (*hole saw not included, attempt to secure to your component at your own risk!!)

Excellent quality. Fits all my extension cords I have tried. Looks like they updated this a bit from prior reviews that have had that issue. This was on a Cargo trailer. Here’s a hint: Cargo trailers have thin aluminum skin typically and i was concerned about the screws having much to grab into. The diamond plate is a bit thicker, but I was still concerned. So I installed it under the trailer by the v-nose tongue. Simple to reach and plug in without seeing and the advantage is you’re then screwing into the 3/4” plywood floor.
