Do not dismiss this table! It's great!
Studio Designs 13220 Folding Craft Station, Silver/Blue Glass This table was purchased by my husband who is writing this review: For those less adept mechanically and more reliant on precise instructions, the instructions could be updated such as by eliminating the warning not to remove the rubber bands holding down the table top, inasmuch as rubber bands are no longer a part of the delivered packaging. If you study the instruction images, there should be no difficulty in assembling it in ten minutes or less. Several online reviews complain about the difficulty of the assembly or misfit of the leg support clamping mechanisms, not realizing the two half-circle clamps are purposefully designed as a compression-type fitting around the inserted support strut. All you need to do is firmly hand-press the strut into each of the half-circle clamps until each clamp snaps snuggly around it. You do not need a rubber mallet or other tools to compress it. Do not be put off by this negative critique in other reviews. Another complaint in reviews is the lack of some kind of device to keep the table and legs from unfolding in the folded-up storage position. I am using an improvised 65-inch long by 1-inch wide double-sided hook and loop (Velcro) tie strap to wrap around the entire table and folded legs to keep them securely held together in the folded-up position. This tie strap would be a nice included item by Studio Designs, but this is an easy fix for storage. In summary, I find this table to be well-engineered, sturdily-built, and an excellent overall value. I am 70, a retired attorney, but have also been a graphic artist since my college days. Without equivocation, I am completely satisfied with this table and its price point. It is an excellent buy.

Great for people with back problems
I bought this because I was having trouble sitting at a regular table for long hours. Working at a tilt is the best way to get realistic effects. This table is worth every penny. The quality is sturdy. Great position. Easy to put together (thanks dad!) but this can be adjusted to a normal desk chair as well as a stool I am using it with my herman miller and the combination is perfect. Everything on the table is adjustable. Compartments are perfect sizes unless your picasso or super savvy artist, I have not yet met any of those requirements but I am definitely a beginner. This is great for those long hours. Buy the lamp that is recommended too.

A must-have for crafting
I love my crafting desk, now I have a great place to do my Cricut crafts. You have to put the desk together yourself, but the instructions are very easy to understand and they go step by step. It took me about 30-45min to have it completely together. Now that I have it, I love it!!!!

Couldn’t live without it!
I am a diamond art user and this is perfect! The only cons is that I don’t use the glue gun holder so removed it and the draws can get in the way too so I removed them also. The drawers don’t have to be held to the table as it is a complete box with drawers so you could stick it with removable tabs to wherever is useful. I absolutely love this table and it looks good too. A must for any budding artists at school/College.

Versatile, Portable, Nice Looking, and Sturdy.
This is perfect for my needs. Currently, all of that beautiful glass is covered up and the table has an art easel on it - which yes nearly defeats the purpose. But, I like the fact that I could carry it up the stairs by myself and can fold it back down for moving. Unlike the Casual Home Montego folding deck that it is replacing https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KS3PIXS/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1, this table is not likely to fold in use and has enough working surface to do complex tasks. I like that it looks great with my Flash Furniture Vibrant Silver Tractor Seat and Chrome Chair (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000TMM5DO/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1). And most of all, it is sturdy and versatile enough to use for drawing, tracing, and other creative adventures. And with regards to the easel. It enabled me to do a deeper slant (more upright), pull the table away from the wall for a larger wprking surface, and have a flat surface on the front, sides, and back of the easel for paints.

Excellent Hobby Bench!
I build miniature figures, and have been using the kitchen table as my workbench. Finally, I saw this online and thought "this is for me." It's fantastic! I can store my brushes, paints, and tools for easy access. Best of all, I don't have to scramble to move everything when we have guests over for dinner!

This is a great table, but I think it's really made more ...
This is a great table, but I think it's really made more for setting up permanently. They neglect to tell you how much brute force you'll need to set it up! (I figured out that it's easier if I push on the bar with my thigh at the same time as I push on it with my hand.) There is a zip tie on each side, with instructions not to remove until after the table is fully assembled. OK....since the table is supposedly designed to fold away for storage, then what are you supposed to do when you need to set it up again after putting it away, since you obviously won't still have those zip ties attached? All of this aside....it's a VERY sturdy table, and the side trays are a great plus! I can't get the pencil stopper to stay up, but I suppose it doesn't matter since I have the side trays. I would definitely recommend this item!

It is very solid and an excellent piece when put together
My mum loves this. I bought it for her to do her painting and art work after her stroke. She can put her feet up on the bar as well. When it first arrived I opened the box and said (@#$ ^%! It was in hundreds of pieces with a little frickin tool kit to boot. Thank goodness for my sister who loves putting this stuff together as I have lost the will to push through it. Be prepared for at least a few hours of assembly time but it is WORTH IT. It is very solid and an excellent piece when put together.

Great drawing table!
We bought this desk for our 12 yo who loves to draw. It's great that the angle of the surface is adjustable, so he can use it flat for making stop action videos, or tilt it for drawing. The plastic organizers on the sides give a place to keep frequently used items handy. The table surface is a smooth laminate. The storage drawers under the desk are pretty small, but allow him to keep some art supplies. The pictures give a very realistic view of the product. The desk height is not adjustable, but is appropriate for adults - this is NOT a little kid desk. He uses a tractor seat stool (height adjustable) with the desk, and a clamp-on lamp for extra lighting. He's been using it for a month now, and loves it - no complaints. It was pretty easy to assemble. The table surface arrived with a wrinkly dent along one of the long edges, and one of the drawers was warped, but the company has a website for reporting issues and quickly sent replacements parts - no hassle.
