I searched exhaustively for a stroller that would fit my requirements, and this one did it for a good price. Anything else even remotely similar or with almost the same features, was 1000$. And even those had plastic wheels. Seriously? for 1000$ you can put some air filled tires on your fancy stroller. This stroller is way better than any thing else like it. It has about a million features and accessories so I'm going to go over as much as I can. Good stuff: UNIVERSAL FEATURES(frame and interchangable accessories) -This is solid. This is a tank, and will last forever if you keep it clean and dry. -Two seat options, the bassinet and the toddler seat. Awesome! (those thousand dollar strollers want to make you buy bassinet separately!) -Two directional options per seat, both of them can face forward or backward. -It is big. Like, seriously big. This is not what you want if you want something that fits in a tiny apartment or small home. I do have a small home, but purposely made room for this because I love it so much. The bassinet is nearly as big as my crib! The outside is maybe 10 inches smaller in width, and a little more in length(I am currently keeping it in the crib, which is how I know). The interior bed is about the size of a large changing pad. The toddler seat is the size of a large highchair seat! -Even without the rain cover, this is fairly water resistant. The exterior is made of that stuff jackets are sometimes made of. -The interior is pretty nice. It isn't super soft but it is acceptable, I'm okay with it because it looks like a fabric that will be easy to clean, or is wipe-able in the pieces that aren't removable. The one piece of removable fabric is a bit softer but not extremely so. If it bothers you, just put some other fabric in it and tuck it down. It is pretty easy to do (obviously no loose blankets or pillows if you have a baby with no head control or the baby is sleeping in it. you can easily tuck a receiving blanket down tight if you want something softer). -Hood is big and collapsible. You can even adjust it based on where the sun is, meaning you can flip up the elastic and pull the hood all the way down to the other side if you need to. -Hood has a big vent for summer. I was worried about it being too warm but the flap unzips all the way off and has a huge mesh window. -Adjustable handle. This was a MUST for me, because both my husband and I are taller than average and all other strollers felt weird. It even has good quality rubber on the handles, not foam. -This has a kick'n suspension. It will handle bumps and broken sidewalk, dirt, grass, curbs, whatever. Your baby will barely feel anything and if it does feel it, it transfers into a gentle rocking that looks super soothing. You can use one hand to gently rock it back and forth or side to side. -Super strong foot break. This isn't going anywhere. I literally forgot I had the break on and tried to push it, I nearly fell into the darn thing, because I was moving and it WAS NOT. At the same time, I can set the break and unset it barefoot. it doesn't hurt my foot or give me any trouble putting it on. This will not roll away. -The basket underneath is huge and made of metal. No sagging fabric, worrying about moisture, or wondering if whatever will fit. I think you could even put the bassinet or toddler seat in it. (obviously as storage, not as a second seat for a child.) I am planning to walk this down to the library and load it up with books! -Air filled rubber tires. This was something I was adamant about. If I had found something with all the same features and cheaper, but no air filled tires, I wouldn't have bought it. I need air tires. I have always hated the sound of plastic stroller wheels(the way they rattle and creak and scratch on any surface) and they always look so jarring and bumpy for the kid. Plus, I live in an area with bumps. This adds a little extra 'padding' for the baby. -It folds down. It does not fold down tiny, but it does get smaller. Like I said this is a big stroller. But it does fold down to about the size of a medium square suitcase. It will fit in my Toyota Camry trunk (the older model, 97 or 98. Don't know about the newer model sizing) and then I could put the seat or bassinet in the trunk as well. Your best bet is to remove the seat/bassinet, then fold it. You will get the smallest that way. Then put it in the middle(the biggest part of your trunk opening) and slide it to the side. But you won't get any other luggage in there. -The way the seats lock in is very secure. It will take a bit of practice to get it smoothly or quickly, but I'm glad, because that means the seat doesn't just fall off even is you unlatch both sides. It also takes some practice to get it back on. But both seats attach solidly and don't move at all. TIP: unlike the older videos of this, the red button does not depress, it slides out or away from the seat, then turns. -It comes with a rain cover and a mosquito cover, as well as a bag. I just put the two covers inside the bag, because it is not big enough to be a diaper bag in my opinion. But all three are very nice accessories that you would have to pay for if you bought another system. -There are no places where a seated kid could get little fingers caught in the seat or bassinet, at least not that I could find. Everything is covered in padding or fabric. -The bassinet and the seat both have "foot muff" type items and they are both big and cover a lot. In the bassinet, with the hood it will keep your little one protected from just about anything and every thing. I'm less impressed with the seat's foot muff, but that might be because I don't have a toddler and don't plan to use the seat for a while. -I think this thing is pretty darn stylish. It isn't everyone's taste, but I think it looks amazing. Classic and very eye catching. You will not have the same stroller as every other mom. I bought the Silver so it goes with everything, because I expect multiple children to go through this and I didn't want to worry about color. I'm pretty crafty so I'm planning to dress it up a little though. BASSINET FEATURES -Bassinet has a rocking feature. (place it on the floor and the rails are curved, so it will rock back and forth with a touch) -Bassinet has a standing feature. (flip it on it's side and there are little legs that unfold if you don't want it to rock) -The mattress/pad comes out and seems easy to wash. -Bassinet has handles in the two zippers on the side. Convenient if you stroll somewhere and then want to take the bassinet inside and leave the frame somewhere (somewhere safe obviously) -Solid base under the pad. I'm planning this to be where my baby sleeps at first. - HUGE. Your baby will want to be sitting up before they outgrow this. It is very roomy. SEAT FEATURES - Seat reclines flat -Foot rest goes all the way up or all the way down - The harness is good. I'm not sure if it is technically a 5 point harness, but it attaches to the seat in five places (two at the shoulder, two at the waist, and one between the legs) The reason I'm not sure, is because the clip is only three pieces(the shoulder strap eventually is attached to the waist strap), instead of five. All the other 5 point harnesses I've seen have 5 latch pieces. It is not too hard to unbuckle and buckle(I don't know many kids that could do it, and I work with kids. I think even a 7 year old would have trouble with it), and if you have a wiggly kid, the fewer pieces will be better to clip them in faster. Also seems like it won't tangle easily. -Has a removable grab bar. It isn't meant to be a quick remove to get a child out every time, but it does detach and feel solid. -The seat seems comfy. I can't test it with anything but my hand, but it feels supportive and still good to sit in for a while. Seems like it will last past the recommended age/weight, but you should still follow all warnings. This will work for multiple kids. The Bad/downsides. Because the stroller with no downside does not exist. -This does not turn on a dime. This does not turn very well at all. It goes straight. The wheels are fixed, which is part of how it is so solid. Not a big deal to me, you can just tilt it back a little to lift the front wheels off the ground, or pick it up to move the back wheels. I can do it and I'm 8.5 months preggo. But might be a deal breaker for some people. -The instructions were.... lacking. My husband put it together for me (it was delivered while I was out, or I probably would have done it) And he got stumped in a few of the later stages and had trouble knowing what a few things were for. Luckily I had watched a lot (a LOT) of videos on this stroller, and we were both able to muddle through it to get it all together. -Either there is an older version or the European version of this is different, because every video I saw (none of which are in English, as a heads up) had a recline/sit up thing in the bassinet under the pad. It wasn't a make or break feature for me, but it would have been nice. Might have something to do with the fact that there is no safety belt in the bassinet if the kid is sitting up. The recline/sit up feature might not conform to American safety standards and that might be why it was removed, but I don't know for sure. Overall this is an awesome stroller, but like anything, you should think about your needs. I would buy this again and so far would recommend it. But if you live in a 3rd floor walk-up, you might want something else.

We bought Roan Rocco in 2012. Always had wanted a pram for our baby so she could stretch and be really comfortable. My husband and I spent many hours "test driving" different carriages sold by baby stores. Unfortunately, here in the US, as strange as it sounds, the choices are very limited. The stores either sell carseat-type carriages or trendy European carriages that are also built for the convenience of the parents and do not seem to have enough room for the baby. Roan Rocco pram had everything we'd been looking for, and a very reasonable price. I was somewhat skeptical about buying online though. To my pleasant surprise, the pram arrived the same week we ordered it. It looked AWESOME, much better than it did in the picture. The bassinets (both of'em) were HUGE and the built quality was top notch. We now have the 2nd bassinet on and it's just as roomy as the first one. Really really HAPPY with our stroller. We've had it for over a year now and it gets complemented almost every day. It's extremely comfortable for the baby, safe, great looking and unique. What's not to like?!! A special note about the Dasalika. Two weeks ago I needed an extra part for the stroller. I located my amazon order from 2012 and sent a message to the seller. Oleg called me in three hours after I hit the "send" button!!!! A week after, the extra part arrived. Superb Product + Superb Service = Very Happy Customers!!!!

I purchased this Pram Stroller for my now 18 month old son prior to his birth. This was the closest I could find to the Emmaljunga stroller I had with my now 14 yr old son purchased in 1999. Some things I love more then my Emmaljunga... First, the bassinet! Wonderful for the first few months( husband gave away to a pregnant relative). Second, the reversible seat unit (and bassinet) can face forward or backwards. Third, the matching diaper bag( left in a shopping cart never to be seen again) and lastly the air filled tires give a smooth ride. Other things I love about this stroller is the ease of navigating any terrain whether indoors or out. Others have commented on that the wheels do not turn, but I prefer the stability of fixed wheels and have no problem with the turning radius, just tilt back and pivot on real wheels. I walk and jog a lot and Love this stroller over any jog stroller out there! More comfortable for the kiddo and feels way more stable. Unless you are an avid runner, this stroller does the job. replaced the tubes with flat resistant tubes with sealant and you will never have to deal with flats. Also I attached a leash to the handlebars just in case. I also have no problem with it's size when folded, others have stated it is bulky and heavy but well worth the extra pounds and size for the durable chassis. The large durable storage basket is a bonus. I leave the car at home walk to the grocery store, hang a cooler bag on the handle bars. Great for traveling! you do not have to worry about it getting broken at the airport like a flimsy stroller and you can load it down with luggage. I can fit an over sized snowboard bag in the basket! And the bassinet makes a nice suitcase for all of the baby supplies and clothes.( I wrapped it in cardboard to protect the fabric but it probably would have held up without.) The cozy covers that snap on are great for the winter months, and the plastic cover is handy on dusty days and our rare rainy days. Just a couple of minor problems. First, My 18 month old is already too tall to fit under the Canopy when in an upright position. If only it were adjustable for height somehow.(he's in the 90% so most kids will be fine I am sure) Second, The breaks broke after a year of use(plastic). I was disappointed but I notified Dasalika and they replaced the wheels! So, I highly recommend this stroller to every parent. It is worth the price and it will last and can be passed on for generations if taken care of. I am surprised that you do not see more of these out there. Emmaljunga does not sell in the USA no longer, and I do not think it is worth a flight to Europe to buy what may not be a much better stroller. So now that I am 15 weeks pregnant, I will be purchasing another Roan stroller soon. Now, If only they had a double Pram.

Just got this today, so easy to put together, didnt even need to open the instructions! Stroller is super comfy and rocks from side to side and back and fourth! The material is very nice and I love the metal bassinet on the bottom! Very roomy as well! The fact that the wheels do not pivet does not bother me a bit, it turns very easily with just a slight bavkwards tilt! I got the color red and love it! Can not wait to stroll my son in it around town! ;) One happy momma here! Thank you Rowan Rocco

I'm a professional nanny of 30yrs. and have had several strollers throughout my career. I just received my Roan Rocco about an hour ago. It took me more time to remove item from box then to assemble. I could have put this stroller together with my eyes shut! NO TOOLS NEEDED!! It is a dream stroller/Pram. It is heavy, and very solid. It will take some people an adjustment period if they're use to smaller, lighter, swiveled wheeled version of a strollers. I fell in love with jogging (three wheel) strollers for the easy glide, and effortless turning ability. However, that was all about me and not my charges!! I have found regardless of age (infant/toddler) my charge was forever struggling to "sit up straight". It is nearly impossible to find a stroller with a firm seat, that will allow the child to sit up-straight. I currently have a new Toyota Camry and this pram stroller 2-in-1 fits in the trunk with ease. I will be using this stroller to walk outside for our daily stroll, trips to the zoo, fair, park, mall etc. I am so excited to get on-the-move :)

Wonderful! Very high quality, very functional, perfect design! Every day we get compliments on modern "old-fashioned-style" stroller. It fully protects the baby from severe wind, cold weather, direct sun,100% comfortable for the baby. Don't be afraid of the size! It is very easy to put in the car and take it out!! We really love it! Good job!

We bought this pram stroller before our daughter was born in 2015 after spending hours and hours of research trying to determine which stroller was going to be the best fit for us. This stroller has met and exceeded our needs and expectations! The bassinet was her bed for the first several months and I loved being able to gently push her around in it when she was trying to fall asleep. Then as our daughter grew bigger we were able to transition her into the stroller and take her for long walks around our neighborhood. I love this stroller for so many reasons! The top is so easy to adjust to protect her from the sun and yet you can still see her as they've got a section that is mesh. And when it was colder out we were able to use the part that covers the lower half of the stroller, enclosing her legs. It was also pretty neat that we initially were able to have her face us when she was younger and now that she's older, we were able to turn the carriage around and have her forward facing. Our daughter is now 20 months old and we still use this stroller all of the time. We've also put it in the back of our Minivan and taken her on walks elsewhere. I love how adjustable the handle is, too, and how I don't have to bend over to hold onto it (I'm 5'8" tall). I love how solid and sturdy the frame is and it's nice having the metal basket at the bottom to hold her diaper bag, the mail, etc. It easily forges it's way through the snow (and we've had a lot this year!) and travels very well over grass and gravel, too. We've gotten lots of compliments on our stroller and we'd buy it again in a heartbeat!

As a Grandmother I couldn't get used to the modern carriage that to me looks uncomfortable for the baby. I wanted for my grandson what I had for my kids...a good ride. I searched around and finally decided that the Roan was for me. It turned out to be worth every penny. I put the baby in it and with in a matter of minutes he is off to dreamland. The covers they provide give excellent protection from the elements. The wheels & springs handle every bump but most of all he is laying down on a flat surface with his spine and neck in the correct position. Then when he is bigger the stroller comes into play and has a foot rest so he can recline with his feet up. I have to think this is better for his little growing body. I drive a Honda Pilot so putting it in the back is not a problem. I take it to family parties so the little fella has a comfortable place to sleep. Any noise from the wheels is taken care of with a spray of WD-40. You will need to get a bike tire pump for the wheels and a diaper bag for the handle bars. I use a Mickey Mouse one I got on Amazon for $25 ...enjoy !

This pram stroller is beautiful, the color (coffee) is really pretty. It took me a few months of research to decide on this one. This is exactly what I was looking for. IT took me about 30 min to figure out how to assemble and how all the parts work but i just couldn't wait for hubby to get home to do it, did it by myself. the instructions are pretty good and a lot of it is common sense. this stroller has it all (the net, rain cover, matching diaper bag). Its sturdy, spacious, and very functional but...yes, its heavier and bigger than most strollers out there, not a problem for me. I can compare it to a "limo" of strollers, your baby will love it. The seller is quick to reply (contacted multiple times), extremely nice and helpful, quick to ship, pleasure to buy from. thank you, thank you.

Great stroller! Sturdy, well-built and has very thoughtful accessories like the rain cover that comes very handy in rainy Seattle, mosquito net (great for walks next to the river with sudden hives of mosquitoes) and nice stylish bag. I was looking for a bassinet to fit our child who is very tall, so Uppababy didn't work (their bassinet is only 27 inches) and bugaboo's donkey looked like a coffin to me, because it was so narrow. This bassinet is 30 1/2 inches when measured at the base (32 inches if measured at the top of the bassinet) and wide enough to make the child comfortable - our daughter likes to sleep with her hands all over :). We are going to buy a thicker mattress (this one is about 1 inch thick) but overall this is a great product and a must for parents who want to keep their child's spine healthy. I only wish I have found this earlier so my daughter didn't have to do her first month's walks in the carseat that clicks to a stroller (she hated the car seat). Shipping was fast: ordered Sunday, delivered Friday morning. Btw they do not leave the package outside the house - you pay to have it delivered with your signature which I thought was great and very well worth the money. It took me about 30 mins to put the stroller together as hubby was traveling at the time, and i couldn't wait to take her out in her new stroller :). Instructions were very easy and the whole process was very intuitive. Stroller rides very smoothly too. We ended up replacing the mattress as the one that the stroller comes with is only 1 inch thick and is really just a foam pad so we thought the baby might get cold. So we bought 2 Inch Foam Bassinet Mattress - 15" x 30" x 2" by Playkids USA, Inc. and it fits perfectly! I was a little hesitant to buy that one because the dimensions of the original mattress were 14 x 30 but decided to take a risk especially because I noticed there was a little room on the sides with the original mattress if you put it in without the sides cover. So the sides cover gave in and the Playkids mattress fits like a glove! We also got American baby jersey knit sheets in colors pink and ecru - and nice surprise, ecru matches the stroller insides (the sides cover perfectly!) Overall, this stroller is the best purchase among all the stuff I bought for the baby!!
