Pad slides around like crazy.
I went the first 3 months of my baby's life without a changing pad. I didn't think I needed one because who wants to go to the nursery every time you need to change a diaper? Then I saw this changing pad for $15 and thought, "meh, I might as well give it a try". I'm glad that I did. Did purchasing this all of a sudden get me changing all diapers in the nursery? No. But I do use this a lot. Now that my daughter is 8 months old, I use this a lot more than when she was 3 months. As babies get older, their diapers get nastier. Especially when they start solids. I ALWAYS use this changing pad when my daughter has a messy diaper. WHAT I LOVE: •Extra plush padding. This pad was comfortable for even my tiny 3 month old. •Wide sides work well for keeping my 8 month old (16lb) contained. Although, never leave your baby alone people! •Safety belt is convenient now that my baby is older. I didn't start using the belt until she was about 6 months old. When they become wiggle worms. •Safety belt can actually strap baby's arms down as well. So they aren't too curious about what you're working on down there. •Pad is completely waterproof. I haven't had any issues with messes seeping through the material. •Pad is super easy to clean. Messes literally wipe right up with a baby wipe. Once a week I clean with a hot, soapy washcloth. •No stains! This has been in a lot of messy situations already and it still looks brand new. •No weird chemical smell when I first opened it. •Pad has kept its shape. •Pad is extremely lightweight and easy to carry from room to room. We all do it sometimes. •Universal changing pad covers fit this perfectly. Like a glove. WHAT I DON'T LOVE: •The bottom of pad is SUPPOSED to be non-slip. But it isn't. I use this pad on a changing table and it still slides around like crazy. I WOULD not put this pad on top of a table or dresser. The pad definitely needs a changing table frame around it to keep it from sliding off a dresser or table. •The material on my pad is sorta baggy. It bubbles up in the middle which drives me nuts. Overall, this is a great changing pad. The price is right. It's a WIN.

Great Pad!
I was worried to get this pad after reading some reviews, but for the price I decided to try it and I'm glad I did. I had no issues with out gassing as some of the reviewers did. I also didn't have a problem with the water proof aspect. Yes there is a stamped design on the pad resulting in tiny holes, however they are so tiny that the surface tension (guess that science class paid off) doesn't allow for anything to get through. I poured water on it when it arrived and tried to push the water in, squished the pad, and left the water sitting on it all day. The water slowly evaporated off the pad but none of it got inside the pad. It has a strap for attaching it to the wall and a buckle for baby! I use the room 365 counting sheep changing pad covers which are super cheap. But the buckles on this pad are just a bit bigger than the holes on the cover, but it was an easy fix for me. All in all a good pad for us and we are very glad we got it!

Perfect addition to a converted dresser/change table...
I use this on the top of a wide dresser that I am currently using as a change table. Works wonderfully! The traction of the 4 feet keep it very still and the deep sides keep baby secure and mommy from worrying too much. There is additional safety as you can secure this to the wall via a safety strap. Very happy with this purchase; this product is not a gimmick. I would highly recommend to any parent using another piece of furniture instead of a change table. P.S. I have yet to find a change pad cover that doesn't fit this.

Best changing pad to use on top of dresser
I just received the chaning pad today and I was impressed. It has everything I was expecting and my baby liked laying on it. The frame is sturdy and the cover is thick, smooth, and water resistant. I also liked that it has enough padding. It is big enough for my 5 month old and it could be used as a napper for a newborn. I wish I got this when he was born so I recommend it. I have not tried putting a chaning cover but I placed a bamboo pad on it and it fits perfectly.

Excellent purchase
This changing pad was purchased for the dresser in our bedroom so that we would not have to lean over as far as the changing insert in our pack 'n' play. Recovering from a c-section delivery I was unable to bend far without extreme discomfort and this changing pad made it possible to make the dresser into my changing surface, relieving pressure on my incision and my back. Excellent purchase, easy to clean. While this is not designed for a co-sleeping situation, we do use it now and then to lay our son between us in the bed while we watch movies or work on our laptops/tablets. Very convenient!

**UPDATED after 3 years** Works great!
UPDATED REVIEW Original Post: We compared a lot of changing pads before deciding to go with this one. I am super happy we got a pad with four sides. Once our little guy became wiggly, it helped ensure that he didn't wiggle off the changing table and bang his head on the dresser. The pad is very comfortable and most changing table covers will fit on it. It's super easy to wipe clean and is still spotless a year after we purchased it, despite numerous "incidents." Helpful hint: I'm a lefty, and the fact that you can change the baby facing either direction is a huge help for us. Some changing pads come with a third wall on one side, but that wouldn't work for us as we face the little guy in different directions when we change him. UPDATED REVIEW: The only fault with this is that, due to the raised ends, it tends to be somewhat shorter than other changing pads. That being said, neither of my boys are tall, so my 2.5 year old can still fit relatively well. The mat has held up to cleaning and use over the years here, which is a definite plus. I do suggest putting a no-slip pad underneath this if it tends to slip. I am really happy we did that.

Good quality
I did not notice a plastic smell, like other reviews have noted. I really like the raised sides of this changing pad, which helps me feel better with my squirmy baby! I don't have it on a changing table/dresser; it just gets stashed and pulled out as needed. I've only ever used it with a liner on top, so I'm not sure how well the water proofing holds up. It looks like it will be big enough to continue using for quite some time. This works perfectly for our needs, and I'm very happy with it. (Side note: Our pediatrician's office has one, too, and I think my son recognizes it from his house, and feels comforted by it!)

Buy It!
Super nice. I bought a very expensive one and returned it because it wasn't nearly as nice as this one! The best changing pad covers I found are the MamaBare Bamboo Changing Pad Liners For Baby, Anti-Slip, Hypoallergenic, Machine Washable, 36"x 20", 3-Pack sold here on amazon. They fit this changing pad perfectly. Just trying to save you the time I lost researching all this stuff :) 12/13/18 Two years, two babies, and countless diaper changes later.....the changing pad is holding up like a champ! Looks and feels the same as when I first purchased it. Great product

Recieved a different model this time
I've had this changing pad for 3 years now, It is amazing! My three year old still fits on it for diaper changes. Even if you don't have a changing table you can store it under your crib and pull it out as needed. No rips or tears 3 yrs later! Its so convenient to have a pad to change messy diapers on. It didn't have any smell when I received it and it still doesn't now. We put two covers over each other and just take the top on off if it gets dirty. All standard covers fit well. I will be ordering another one for new babys room as well UPDATE: The new one that came in is not the same model # and has slightly shorter contoured sides. The sides don't come up to a point/look triangly instead it is a squared top. Not sure if this is an update or a whoops but summer brand who I called has not heard of this pad with this model #, yes that is kind of scary how the company hasn't heard of a product that I received from their brand/their tags are on it. This ones model # is 92870z and not the 92000z as listed

great pad, but get a 2 sided instead of a 4 sided for tall babies.
This changing pad is great. I did not bother with the changing pad cover and just used the munchkin changing pad liners so the baby is not cold. The terrycloth on the liners is warmer than the plastic on the pad. Both liners and pads are waterproof. I do regret buying the 4 sided walls pad instead of the 2 sided walls pad. I have a tall baby and she outgrew this pad around 9 months old. Her head was touching the edge and not comfy. I started using portable changing mats after that. I saved it in case we have another baby because it is great for infants, but portable cham5ging mats are better for toddlers.
