My wife and myself have owned multiple car litter bags and this is by far the best one. Even if others claim to have the same features - and I suppose it is possible - this is the only one that I've found exactly like you'd expect. I never felt like I wish the top closed tighter or I wish fabric was stronger. BUT, I've never had a leak problem where I've dropped a bottle of anything. I think the main reason for this is I just know that if my can has something in it then I don't just toss it in there. Whatever the case may be, I highly recommend you don't risk buying another type and just go with this one because you can already have confidence it works.

So good I'm buying another after 15 years!

This was so good, I'm buying it again after 15 years. We have it in our convertible, where the snap-shut opening is perfect at containing trash even with the top down but is easily opened with one hand. After 15 years, the original was tearing where the straps attach to the bag. I was very happy to find the same bag still available.

Love This Trash Bag!

We have an Odyssey mini van, so this does not encroach on the space of the passenger in the back seat at all, but I did see some people say they had problems, so my guess is they have a small car. We have not had any problem with that at all. We love the durability. We have only had it for about a week, but it has really done what we wanted. We have grandkids with us all the time and we like for our van to stay clean. Now they have a place to put their trash. I line it with a grocery bag and it works very well. When it gets full I can just pull out the grocery bag, toss it, and put in a new one. No fuss at all. I love the spring closures, so it is very easy to close with just one hand. I have been looking for something like this for a very long time. EXACTLY WHAT WE WANTED!

Smaller than expected, but well built and versitile

This is smaller than I expected, which is totally my fault for not reading the dimensions clearly listed in the title. Two of the incredibly large plastic soda cups from a gas station or fast food restaurant would fill this up. But it's well-built and sturdy, seems like it would be fairly leak-proof, and it's adjustable and collapsable. The top part collapses in which is great for storage, or if it's not filled to the top, it could help keep any bad smells in (although it's not airtight). The hook on the back is nice to be able to connect an extra bag to if going on a road trip. It's weighted on the top, which I thought would make it bounce and hit the back of the seat on turns, but if you make the seat strap tight enough that's not a concern.

I liked it so much I bought another

This is the second High Road trash container I have ordered, the first being purchased severaI years ago. The original hangs on the back of the driver's seat in our minivan. It holds far more trash than I had envisioned, both wet and dry, but I realized the grands in the third row of seats weren't using it, choosing instead to leave leftover food and drink in the cup holders. That was my lightbulb moment, so I purchased and hung the second one on the back of a second row seat. Now, the first one is still going strong and I have no reason to believe the second won't do the same.

Get the trash off the floor of your car!

We ordered this in-car trash bag to put in a newly purchased car, based on having used the product for many years in other cars. We like the convenience of having a discrete place to put the bits and pieces of trash that inevitably occur while traveling. This bag is easy to disconnect and reconnect when time to dump. The black color especially works in our car because the seat covers are the same color, but we have used before with lighter seat covers and it still looks great. This bag is a practical, functional and good looking solution to a need that we all have to put car trash in a place other than the floor of our cars. Very satisfied with this bag and pleased to recommend it.

I was happy to find the same one as a replacement

I originally bought this bag in 1993 for my very first new car! It served me well, still leakproof, but that top had finally ripped, I was happy to find the same one as a replacement. Great to have a leakproof garbage in the car for coffee cups, soda cans, etc. it can be used as shown - or I hang it from the little loop (shown) on one of those little bag hooks in my minivan - my backseat passengers aren't psyched about having it hanging in their face, so that works better for us. My minivan puts this bag to the test & it functions well. Every now and then I rinse the whole thing out (generally after finding 3 month old banana peels in the bottom), it has never leaked.

A Must For Any Young Driver

My son's car is a mess so I bought this sort of as a joke. Turns out he loves it and my daughter wants one, too. It's sturdy, leakproof and holds a lot. It's easy for him to reach around behind the passenger seat and toss something in there, and much easier to empty the bin of trash than clean random stuff from all over his car. Good purchase!!

must have vehicle trash bag

This is a great vehicle trash bag. Well made heavy duty, lots of room. I have three 8-9 year old grandsons who are very active. They packed the previous trash bags I had and wore them out quickly. This is a great sturdy bag, holds liquids just like promised. One of the boys put a quart size drink in it without a lid, the contents spilled out into the bag and no a drop spilled out. It is very easy to clean. A real nice feature is the snap together top. Very easy to use and attach to the back of the seat. Would highly recommend it. Bought another for my wife and she loves it. This bag is so sturdy I would recommend it for a off road or recreational vehicle. It could be used to carry tools, supplies or gear like gloves, goggles or drinks.

Quality construction, just the right size

For years I have been using a twist tie to attach a small trash bag to whatever part of the dashboard I can. I finally decided to be an adult and get a decent bag and this one is the perfect size for my Mini Cooper. No one ever sits in the back seat anyway (except rescue birds) so I attached it to the back of the front passenger seat. It opens easily enough from the driver seat and stays open if I need it to. The quality is very good, too, and it looks like it will clean without much hassle. I would highly recommend it!
