Great for travel/sleepovers!
I bought this in preparation for a move from Germany back to the US. I wanted to get it ahead of time to let our daughter get used to it, since all of our furniture would be packed up and on a boat for a loooong time. I had her take naps in it at home instead of her crib (13-14 months old) and for date nights, I would bring it to the babysitter's house. It fit easily in our big luggage for the flight back to the US and it wasn't heavy at all. It fit perfectly under the "desk" built into our hotel room and you can see Chloe didn't have an issue sleeping on it. She was able to crawl up on down from it with no problem. She does tend to...migrate...when she sleeps, so we would put blankets or pillows down if the floor wasn't carpeted. I would and have recommended this to friends and family. Pic 1 - 15 months old (babysitter's house) Pic 2 - 17 months old (hotel in Germany) Pic 3 - 18 months old (hotel in US) Pic 4 - 21 months old (in our new home!)

Perfect size for 18 month old. And really light & compact.
Needed a toddler bed without it being a toddler bed in our room. If that makes sense? Our 18 month old is horrible with sleep...she wakes up about 2-3 times a night! And going to her room to put her to sleep was exhausting. And keeping her in our bed was uncomfortable since she's not a cuddly kid. She likes to "stretch" at night a lot. Basically means she likes to kick & punch our faces. We didn't want to bring her giant crib in here, so we looked into this portable toddler cot. It's perfect! We did try the whole crib mattress on the floor thing since our bed is close to the floor, but we liked this cot over that because it's easy to get out the way. The cot came with a sheet, if that's what you want to call it. But it's a little rough. We put a playard sheet over it, and it holds up pretty well. (The picture has the sheet it came with, we added the playard fitted sheet after. We will also be using it for traveling!

Well made and seems to sleep well.
Thinking about getting a second one. My grandson loves it. He is 4yrs old and weighs 40 pounds. He even lays around on it when he is watching shows on his ipad. He says it's comfortable and he has some room to grow. I bought him a sleeping bag too, but he just laid on top of that too and wanted a blanket. It must be rather comfy, I'm also having a hard time keeping my lab off of it. which is why I intend to buy a second one Thankfully it came with an easily removable and easily washable sheet. Seems to be made to last. So far I have no complaints.

Still love it after 3 years!! Must have!!
I have owned this cot for 3 years now, and it was definitely one of the best purchases I have made! We bought it for our 7 year old to use when we went on a trip back east, but he was JUST too big for it. From then on, we used it for our 3 year old, who is now 6. It has been so handy in so many traveling situations! We will be taking it with us on our trip up to Yellowstone, as we will be staying many places where we need an extra bed for her. It takes up very little room when set up, and folds nicely into its carrying case. I'm afraid that this will be her last year using it, as she is getting too tall. :( I really wish they had one more size up! It's a fantastic product! As for the quality, the cot part itself is incredibly sturdy, but I make sure that my kids know that it is NOT for standing, playing, or jumping on. We are mindful of how we treat it. I absolutely LOVE that there is elastic around the outside of the sleeping bag part so that it stays secure around the edge of the cot and doesn't shift at night. The pillow that you can slide in is such a bonus!! It's just the right size for a toddler or small child. Again, we are careful with the sleeping bag part as well, and we are sure not to abuse it, so it has held up well for us. No tearing or holes. My daughter is still excited to sleep in it - which I count as a God send! Thank you, Regalo, for filling a HUGE need in travel beds for children! Please make a slightly larger one as well! :)

Sturdy, convenient, well made, and easy to use!!!
This portable bed is amazing for what we wanted it for. Our son is almost 4, so he is too old for a pack n play and we have 3 kids, so sometimes lack of places to sleep on trips. We took my kids up to see grandma and we did a 12 hour drive split and ended up staying in a hotel. The bed was very easy to vary in it's carrying case and extremely easy to set up. It even comes with a fitted sheet that goes over the top. Now, I don't know about you but I have had many items that hf ferrying cases but were IMPOSSIBLE to get back in the bag for travel. You do not have this problem with this product. We also use it for nap time for my 4 year old as well as extra seating during movies or games. We just open it up and put right in front of the couch, so they can sit two wide and lean on the couch. Product seems well made and we would buy again in a heartbeat. Only thing I recommend is that we bought a crib sized 2 inch foam temperpedic mattress pad to lay on top for more added comfort. I feel that as cool as this bed is it lacks comfort, but I would chalk it up to the same as a pack n play or even the comfort of a crib mattress. You definitely don't have to add the foam but we chose to and them just lay a fitted sheet over the top and call it a day. You can get one for about $40... we chose to do so because we use this product often. Hope this helps!! I've also stood on it and sat on it countless times and I'm 150#s and it holds up sturdiness just fine.

GREAT TODDLER COT for families on the go.
These Regalo toddler cots are the best! My grandchildren love them. They can be used from the time the child is out of a port-a-crib (for travel, visiting) until ??? One of the grandsons is now 5 and still using his. They fold up very easily into a bag sort of like a camp chair. My daughter has brought these for the kids to sleep in when they are staying in motels, camping, visiting relatives and friends overnight. We got a water proof pad and toddler bed sheets, which are very nice because the bottom sheet has elastic all around, and the top sheet is "fitted" on the bottom, so the sheets stay on the cot.

Look no further for portable travel bed for toddlers
Great product! Our toddler grew out of a pack and play and we travel quite a bit, so we were left searching for a travel sleeping solution for him. After a little research, we settled on this one and it is awesome! This is perfect to use in a hotel room or at someones house when you take your kids over and want to stay up later. Great Features: Super portable - This thing was designed with portability in mind. It folds up just like outdoor chairs do and is lightweight. It fits great in a normal sized checked bag (would be too big for a carry-on though), so we just pack it right in there to avoid the airlines damaging it. Set-up ease: It literally takes 15 seconds to get this thing out of the carry bag and unfolded. Great if you arrive late at the hotel and just need to get the rugrat to sleep! Take down is equally as easy. Comfort - Its got a little give for toddlers and ours slept soundly on this thing all night. We've used it multiple times and it works great for him. Also, a standard fitted crib sheet goes over this thing perfectly so they can sleep against that. pretty genius. Durable - We have used this many times and it has held up great and is solidly made.

Good for a 2-4 year old.
We just took this cot on a vacation, and it was perfect. It fits my tiny two year old fine and she loves it. It will probably fit her for another year or two (because she's tiny). I knew that when we bought it, so it's fine. If you have a tall three year old, you will probably not get much use out of it. I would not recommend purchasing for a four year old. I like how the sleeping bag attaches with elastic. I think it's kept her from falling off the cot in the middle of the night. The cot is a little heavy and large when folded, but it suited our needs. We went on a vacation and I didn't want to have to get two hotel rooms for our five person family. I actually checked it in with our stroller in one of those red gate check stroller bags. This was perfect!

Great for sleepovers, travel, and temporarily tiny living.
My daughter currently sleeps in this every night while our family is in transition/living in a single room together. We've had it a few months, and it's gotten kind of roughed up since then - and my kid isn't a roughhouser. She might dramatically flop face-first into the thing once in a while, but no jumping, no tossing and turning, etc. We've only packed/traveled with it once since purchase, so it isn't getting manhandled much at all. So why the five stars? Because she's sleeping in it *Every.* *Night.* This is not what the bed is meant for, and I know that. It's meant for occasional use, perhaps at the foot of a parent's bed for bad dream nights, or in a closet until the need arises for a sleepover. In those scenarios, I could see it holding up incredibly well, so I've got to give my review with that in mind. The cot is still in great shape, all things considered. The price was fair, we're using it daily, and it's comfortable. My one complaint is that every once in a while a big screw will fall out of the bottom and the canvas will come loose, but that's an easy fix. I just grab a penny and tighten the screw back into place. It's happened about 3 times in...3 months? Although the last time it happened, my husband fixed it and it hasn't come loose since. It's possible I just wasn't tightening it enough (though obviously, the manufacturer should have done that). Not a problem for us, but parents with young kids for whom this would be a choking hazard might want something else. Travel- and storage-wise, this couldn't be more convenient. It folds up similarly to those canvas chairs you see everywhere, and slips into its bag very easily. To sum up: cheap but good. Would recommend for occasional use, or people on super tight budgets in need of a small-space temporary bed.

... to young children using it as a trampoline--definitely not recommended! However
We are on our second cot (our first one fell victim to young children using it as a trampoline--definitely not recommended! However, we used the first one daily for 6 months before it died--so we are pretty happy with this.) My daughter is an average height four year old, and it still fits her, but if she grows much more it will not be long enough when she stretches out. The middle bar has not posed a problem (as in some of the reviews I read) as it is in a gentle U-shape to so she does not rest on the bar when sleeping. Overall, we are very pleased with this product. It folds up well when not needed and opens easily. We do have carpet, so it does not try to fold up with no one on it, but the pink sheet is a bit of a tight fit so it might cause a little folding on a wooden floor when no one is on it.
