I had a triple steering stabilizer set up on my 2011 Ram 3500 using Rough Country stabilizers. When I went over a bump going 70 mph and my truck went in to a violent case of "Death Wobble", I knew something was wrong. I checked the 3 stabilizers I had on the truck, and one of them was bad, leaving the other two as fully "functional". I quickly ordered one of these Bilstein dampers, and installed the day it arrived. The 1 Bilstein provided better steering than the 3 ever did. Went back over the bump that sent my truck into a spiral going 70, 80, and 85. Slight bump steer, but was immediately suppressed. Would not hardly shimmy, much less go into a seizure. I thought what any other guy would think....."if 1 works good, 2 will work BETTER!" I ordered a second one and installed it as soon as I could. Went over the same bump, again at 85 mph this morning. I literally had to look back, and make sure had past it, because i felt noting come though the steering wheel. Took what slop I had left in the steering right out, and yes Ive had everything else checked. Ball joints are good, tie rods were replaced because of factory recall, new track bar, new steering box. The biggest problem was inferior stabilizers. Save yourself the headache, go Bilstein.

I know picture is not the best however I was unsure this would fit my 2016 Ram 2500. Well great news is that it does! Took less than 5mins to install

Fits a 2018 Ram 2500. Takes less then 10 minutes, just unbolt the two 18mm brackets. Then put the bolts through the new one. No modifications or washers needed. Absolute beast compared to the stock dampener. Also add that I had 1200 miles on my truck when I switched out the stablizer, instant notice in difference.

I purchased this stabilizer to install on my 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 with my steering upgrade to the newer steering linkage setup. I have Bilstein shocks on the truck mentioned and have had them on other vehicles before. Bilstein always makes high quality products and this is no exception. It fits perfect with the new steering linkage on the truck. Note: The factory linkage used a stabilizer with a tapered stud that fit into the tierod, where this one mounts to a stud already mounted to the tierod. Essentially it is setup like a standard shock absorber with a bushing at either end. The finish is quality that I have found to prevent corrosion quite well. I did not have death wobble issues before so I can't speak to its effect at masking that, however it does give a very stable feeling going down the road. Definitely recommended!

I was skeptical that this would make that much of a difference and boy was I wrong....I was super close to buying a dual stabilizer kit of another brand and I'm happy I didn't. This has really made a night and day difference compared to the stock stabilizer that was in place. It was pretty easy to mount considering Dodge uses 18 & 16 mm bolts to mount these and those are NOT typical sizes you get in open box end wrenches or sockets for that matter. Advice, use anti-seize when you put the bolts back on as they were rusted making the removal a tad bit of a pain. Anyhow I am happy enough with this product that I'm definitely going with the 5100 Bilstein shocks as well...

OK install is two bolts and takes less time to complete than to get down on the garage floor and crawl under the truck. Parts feels to be of quality materials and has an attractive look to it. Made an immediate difference in the ride quality of my truck. Before this part when I would hit a decent sized bump, it felt that the front end would shimmy left and ride a few times before settling. After install the truck settles immediately. I did not experience issues with the front end pulling like mentioned in other reviews. Good upgrade and recommended.

Installed on a stock 2012 ram 3500 sIt dually. Replaced all 4 factory shocks and steering stabilizer with bilstien 5100 series. Factory shocks had 204,000mi. on them and they were not blown but really soft. Fit and finish were spot on Except on the front shocks I had to cut the Zip tie that holds the rubber bellow, and pull it down and replace with new zip tie or else it would be bunched up in the shock tower. Can definitely tell a difference in stability with the 38ft triple axle toy hauler and also with no weight going over wash boards. Would buy again and take these anyday over orilley and autozone brands. Fast shipping and good price.

Upgraded steering linkage on my 2005 Ram 3500, unfortunately the kit purchased was Mopar with steering dampener included. After 1 year, the stock dampener already had failed and noticeable steering characteristics had developed. As I already have Billstein shocks installed, I decided to purchase Billstein for the dampener as well. Night and day difference, cannot say enough. In this case, OEM was less than optimal and aftermarket, in my opinion, provided a higher level of quality.

I was told this would fit my truck but I would need to add some washers to fill the gaps between the bushing and clevis. I didn't need to add the washers and it fit perfect. My truck has a 2 inch level and oversized wheels and tires. It was always wondering, pulling and I had to correct all the time and keep my grip on the wheel at all times. Still pulls, so I took it to get aligned. They told me one of my upper ball joints is toasted... getting it fixed this week and aligned for 400$

Quick shipping and good price! Just so others know, I did a bunch of research and landed on this ss for use on my Chevy Dana 60 front end. The length and throw are nearly identical to the rancho ss I had and this ss works far better. I did have to figure out my own mounting hardware, as expected with this application. I've seen some complaints of the gas charged ss pushing people's vehicles to one side but I am not experiencing this... I'm guessing it's the heavier vehicle and parts that keep it lined out??
