After a bad experience with the OXO brand plunger, I bought one of these and am very pleased with it. My OXO plunger would turn inside out every time I used it, but this plunger actually works as designed with no issues. It also looks nice. And it has an "open" design that makes it easy to put back on the stand and allows it to thoroughly dry out between usages. I now have two of these and will probably buy another.

I just purchased this as it was a need, not a want. I now have to say I would call it a want. It is a bit pricey but gosh does it work. I gave it one push the clog immediately released. This a very well mad product , easy to use and the magnetic holder is great.

Most elegant toilet plunger I have ever owned. I tried the accordion style but could never find one that sealed well enough to do the job. And each one I tried did nothing but send water flying in all directions. I love everything about this plunger. You can't go wrong with the old reliable design. The only CON is the price but so far it has been worth it. Very sturdy construction and it actually looks nice.

Very sleek nice design. I like how the pole Handel is magnetized.

So my husband finally used this (I didn't ask why) and he says we need to throw out our other plungers and buy more of these. It works good. I am happy since I have believed for years that I am the only person in this family who knows how and when to use a plunger. Thank you, simplehuman! Our older plungers did not make a good deal on the porcelain and the rubber was stiff. These make a good seal and are flexible, while producing a forceful plunge.

This is the best plunger on the market. This one has a cool magnet to hold the plunger in the base. It is easy to attach and detach to the base. Most importantly, the plunger itself works really well. I've tried several others from Home Depot, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Target but this simplehuman one is by far the best. We have 4 toilets that all clog (my guess is bad toilet design because they've been terrible since they were installed in our new home years ago). I already have one of these plungers at home, I bought this one, but I'd ideally have 2 more so I'd have one in every bathroom. The other plungers I've tried don't get the right seal in the bowl so they don't work. Plus this one has a nice sized round handle, not the traditional wood stick.

Another great Simple Human product! We have always used the traditional plunger that come to find is actually used for sinks. When our regular old plunger broke we did some research and decided on this one. Best plunger decision ever. You need very little force to unclog the toilet which is so nice and the magnetic base keeps the plunger in its holder. This is definitely worth the extra bit of money.

I bought this because the holder looked like it would more sanitary than most others (holding the plunger in with magnets & covering more of the plunger than my old one). I have not reviewed this yet because I haven't had to use it, but then my daughter "needed" a toilet paper roll to make a craft and decided she would unwrap one herself and flush the entire roll's paper at once. I was really impressed at how quickly it broke up the clog & the toilet water went right down. I was expecting a mess and this plunger made it no big deal.

With a son that eats a lot a plunger in the household is always necessary. Over the past several years I have purchased no less than 6 plungers in the hope of finding one that would actually unclog the toilet. I have bought different models from Lowes, Home Depot and ACE Hardware. Don't waist your money on those plastic plungers. They don't last and are really are not that effective. I have even tried the plunger that uses Co2 to blow a burst of air down the toilet. Not very effective and a little messy when the toilet water starts to splash up towards you. This one is well built. It uses a rubber that forms a good seal around the toilet drain and the handle is sturdy metal so it will not bend (like the plastic plungers) also the knob at the end of the plunger really works well when using your hand to push the plunger downwards. Try using a plunger that does not have a knob at the end of it. Your hand will hurt as you push the plunger downwards. This plunger take less effort to unclog the toilet and works very well. To be honest, I was very surprised. It may cost more than a $10 plastic plunger but this one is worth the extra money. This the best plunger I have used to date.

This plunger is so expensive but after buying 4 other toilet plungers that took 20 minutes or longer to work or simply stopped working at all, I'm not mad at it. Granted, the higher price is probably because of the caddy (which is a nice touch) but even without the caddy I would still pay the price for this. It is the ONLY plunger that has worked with three different types of toilets and will not break down. It's super strong and sturdy and unclogs toilets in less than a couple of minutes! On top of that, it just looks nice. As long as quality stays the same, I will never buy another plunger again.
