Perfect thickness, perfect texture

Bought these after reading many glowing reviews and by golly here's another one. Perfect thickness, perfect texture, I can dry my hands more than once without them getting too wet to use. I received them just in time for the big Thanksgiving feast preparation. Three of us in the kitchen and only 4 towels used and two of those were for drying the dishes. Hooray! I'll be buying more of these.

Really nice durable towels.

I bought 3 set of these dish towels totaling 36 altogether. I am using the 18 black dish towels to cut down on the number of paper towels that I use daily (I'm trying to be more environmentally respectful) and I use the 18 white with black strip dish towels for when I have guests visiting. I've washed the black towels about 6 times in the last two week and they hold up very well. They are still very absorbent and still a very attractive deep black color. I'm very happy with this purchase and my new earth-friendly efforts.

Good All-Purpose Towel for Kitchen

I purchased these towels for our kitchen as an all-purpose towel for wiping down counter tops and drying hands. I was pleasantly surprised that these towels are not thin and flimsy but decently thick and durable. These towels will hold up longer that I expected. I like the black ones b/c they don't show the dirt that quickly accumulates when using around the kitchen. These towels are not high quality, but they are definitely not low quality either. Perfect dish or kitchen towels.

Super absorbant, soft

Gift for daughter. Didn't think I'd get a chance to use them, but when I babysat my grandbabies, cup turned over, water all over the table, dish towels saved the day. Super absorbant, soft, and just the right size.

Durable and Absorbent

Because all of our Kitchen Towels were on their last legs, I needed new kitchen towels. I purchased these towels based on other people's reviews because I find people who use the product give the best reviews. I am very glad that I bought this product as we have put the towels to use right away. They are very absorbent and durable. several have already been through the wash cycle as we have had to cleanup some messy spills by my 2 year-old grandson. I would definitely recommend buying this product.

Incredible For The Price

I purchased this item on my own with no compensation for this review. Please click on Helpful at the bottom of this review if what I wrote is useful to you. I read all the reviews complaining about the quality of these towels. Are they the very strongest, best and long-lasting ever made in the history of western civilization? Probably not. But they're about one dollar a towel! For years I have been running into retail outlets in search of a white-with-black-stripes dish towel to match my kitchen, only to find ones that weren't very close and cost over $10.00 per towel. Then I found these on Amazon: The exact design I want and about the price of a half a cup of coffee each. If these are worn out at the end of the year, I'll buy them again. This entire order cost less than two days of my triple-play cable service which I willingly forgo every time I go away for the weekend. UPDATE: After two months of using and washing just one towel, it remains in incredibly good shape. The photos show it in perfect condition except for a small thread loose about 1.5 inches long on one edge of the towel. Even if I threw this away now, I still got two months of use from it, which means that the package would give me two YEARS of service for about the price of three lattes. And I'm not throwing it out -- I'll keep using it for another month or two. So they are not the absolute most robust dish towels ever made. But they look terrific and are an incredible bargain. Still five stars and highly recommended.

Good value - good towel!

These towels are what I've been looking for. They are absorbent and medium weight = not sleazy. Size is perfect for my kitchen hook or oven door handle. Kitchen towels seem to stay around for awhile until you realize suddenly they no longer look too hot! These are replacing all my old towels and I'm happy to have found them in a suitable quantity and for a reasonable price.

Better than I thought

After reading reviews, I was a little skeptical when I received these towels. They seemed thin to me. I washed them, dried them outside (don't use dryer, saves $ n clothes),. When first tried the towel drying g dishes, I was really impressed. Perfect size. They absorbed and dried dishes great. For 12 towels, the price was right.I do hope they can last. The black towel drape on oven handle. I hate that they are made in Pakistan, the dreaded middle east. Why cant they be made here? I knew before buying so the reviews were right because they are absorbent and work. Wash before using.

Great Value for the Money!

While I do wish that they were sold in packs of 2-3 or even 6, having 12 will make it easier if we do have a catastrophic failure of a major wet appliance! All joking aside, so far we're pretty impressed with them - they washed very well with no bleeding of the black (I was worried about that) and didn't lose their size or shape with the washing, either. I was worried that both would happen - you know, buyer beware and all of that. But no - these have so far performed very well and were a great buy for the price!

Great Quality, Great Price

These are great quality towels. They dry well, they wash well, and they stand up to normal use. They did shrink some, but not so much as to be bothersome. They did not warp at all when washed which is better than I can say of my expensive bath towels! I'd gladly buy more, but there are so many in the pack I don't NEED more (yet). I got rid of all my old kitchen towels and now these are the only ones I use!
