Color and product as described
Needed glaze for pottery. Shipped and arrived quickly. Very disappointed that lid came off bottle during shipment. Bag it was packed in captured spillage. I was able to reclaim 95% of spillage. Bottle cap needs to be taped on or secured better. Thanks

Very handy!
Love these! Suitable for high and low fire, versatile and and easy to work with. Can be thinned down with water and used with a paint brush or used with a slip trailer. Great and affordable product.

Good stuff. Very thick and true to color
Good stuff. Very thick and true to color. Comes out even in the kiln and a beautiful vibrant medium red. There is not too much yellow in it. It is a rich true red. It is not burgundy unless you were to fire it differently. Mine was fired to cone 10.

Easy to use
I like to use Speedball underglazes to screen print and transfer on to my greenware pieces. Nice opaque color silky smooth no clumps.

Good highfire underglaze
I am thoroughly pleased with speedball underglazes. I use a cone 6 porcelain and I loved how well the coverage was after the gaze firing. Definitely recommend this brand.

The Speedball underglazes are great. I apply them on bone dry pottery then fire them i a bisque fire, then apply a clear glaze over that for the glaze fire. Easy to use and I like the way they look after the glaze fire.

Great coverage from this product.
I have had great luck with all the Speedball underglazes I have used. They give good coverage on darker clays, and if they are used on greenware, fire to a matte finish that holds glaze really wall for the next firing. The colors will blend and mix well with each other to create a broader palette. This is a great product and a great value.
