Super cute and functional
I am very happy with the purchase, it came within 3 days of ordering and assembling was a breeze. It is a lite weight colorful wood magnetic easel. It has all functions one want in an easel for a very reasonable price compared to its competitors. It is compact and folds flat for storage but at the same time provides decent size boards to write and draw. It comes with an eraser, marker, chalks, plastic cups, paper roll and few magnets, which is a huge plus. My 5 year old is super impressed with the easel and for sure will have years of fun (thanks to its height adjusting feature). While I can't yet comment on the product durability, it is working perfectly fine for now. Update: It is the most used toy and is holding up very well with rough handling of my child. White board magnetic side is my child's favorite, we use markers, crayons and magnets. Black board is a bit squeaky and dull, chalks that come with easel are pathetic, I purchased separate chalks but still the black board performance is just mediocre. Overall I am still happy as white board offers multiple fun options and my kid don't care much about black board anyways.

Great for two year olds and up
I first bought one for my granddaughter who was almost two. Then seeing how much fun she was having I bought one for her cousin that was turning two. They both loved it especially playing together on it. So glad since my granddaughters house burned along with her easel in the Camp Fire BUT they are living on the property with her cousin and now both girls can play on the one easel. It's sturdy and great for little ones. I definitely recommend this easel.

Inspiring Creativity and Learning Early!
This is Perfect for starting the Creative Mind in little ones! Magnets seem to be very interesting and great for learning and telling stories. The chalkboard allows creative expression, as well as the easel paper allowing for painting and drawing! As an Artist I Love that I am able to inspire Creativity with this great easel as a place to work.

Buy this easel.
5 stars even though it had a small chunk out of the top bar when it arrived. I glued it back in and the spot is hidden by the paper roll. (It does not interfere in anyway with the function.) It is well made and it went together easily and exactly as instructions were written. By the way, I saw a question about the size for replacement rolls of paper. It comes with an 16" roll, but I tried the Melissa & Doug 18" refill rolls of paper and they fit just as well - the bar is easily wide enough. It will be very easy to adjust easel height as they grow. I will use painter's tape to offer painting on both sides at the same time. It is a pretty and very functional easel and I can't wait to try it out with the grandbabes. Look how many times I wrote the word easy!

Super impressed with this easel
Super impressed with this easel. My parents sent it to us for my daughters 2nd birthday and while she isn't quite to the suggested age group, it works perfectly for her because of the ability to adjust the height. The magnetic board is impressively strong and the chalk board and whiteboard both wipe off easily. Assembly was simple and it's very sturdy once put together. My daughter was "chalking" all night. I also love that the boards have the "ABC's" and numbers up to 10 on the board so we can practice them. It comes with chalk, a dry erase marker (black) 6 numbered shape magnets, a roll of painting paper and cups to add paint (paint not included) The shelf is large enough to store extra supplies as well. Love this item.

Great easel... odd size paper roll
This easel is great! My 2 year old daughter loves it. It's easy to adjust the height, and once locked in, it doesn't move. The chalk board paint they use is very good and allows the chalk to be easily erased. Some cheapo chalk boards leave too much of the residue of previous chalk behind; this one doesn't. My only complaint is that they use a non-standard 16.5" paper roll. I would have like to see them utilize the much more common 18" paper roll. Not a big deal, but something to take note of.

This product is great. My 2 year old son had just as much fun helping me put it together (super easy) as he does using it. I like that it has 4 different uses, magnetic whiteboard, chalk board, paper roll, dry erase. Only drawback I guess is that it only came with one dry erase marker so I did end up buying some more. Also the chalk is pretty flimsy for a kid, they break very easily, so may need to buy some extra chalk too that's thicker. All in all, I would definitely reccomend!

Great and well made
I am thrilled with the quality of these easels. I did a lot of research. I was a bit hesitant to choose these because of mixed reviews, but I was able to buy two easels through amazon warehouse deals. Both easels were well wrapped and easy to assemble and just beautiful well made pieces. The chalkboard is plastic like others have mentioned but the chalk works fine on them. One review mentioned the bolts and star nuts not working. I noticed that if the bolt wasn’t flush with the wood, it wouldn’t be long enough for the star nut to thread onto it. I just used a hammer to tap the bolt into the predrilled hole and that solved the problem. The only other tip I’d mention is regarding the holes to attach the green paint tray. They might appear like they are extra tiny but I screwed the screw in a little ways first, then unscrewed it. It made the hole easier to see when attaching the green tray. I’d highly recommend this easel. It’s great!

Great for Grandchildren
This was so easy to put together on a crazy Christmas morning. Nothing seems pinch-able or sharp for little fingers. It was purchased for our artistic 2 year old grand daughter. She loves it. You can use magnets, drawing paper, chalk, marker board. We wont be using the paint containers for a while, but they are great snack holders. Easy to clean and doesn't take up much room, so we leave it out all the time. Works well with our 5 year old grandson as well!! We are planning to use it for many more years to come.

Beautiful Board but Can't Really Fold Up
This is a beautiful easel and we are so pleased with it. I bought it for a 2 year old who is 3' tall and the legs are short enough that he can use the entire surface. He's too young for markers so I bought Crayola dry erase crayons which work on the white board although you really need water to get the crayon marks off easily. By the way, this easel comes with only one marker for the white board. In the "What's In The Box?" section, it states that the easel comes with 3 markers but customer service confirms that it comes with only one marker. I'm a tad disappointed that it doesn't fold up...at least not while the legs are in the shortest position. If you loosen the green tray, it will bump into the wing nuts shaped like stars which hold the legs in place. This means you can't fold the easel up unless you remove the star nuts completely, in which case the legs will come apart. Also, the tray will hang down below the legs. It may be that if the child is about 4-1/2' tall, this problem will go away but I can't be sure. Lastly, there are no instructions about seasoning the blackboard before use but all blackboards must be seasoned with chalk before use or the first scribbles/words will be "burned" into the board and can never be erased. I used the chalk that came with the easel but that chalk was too sharp even on its sides and left horizontal lines in the board. Read the "Questions" above the reviews on this page for a full discussion of blackboard seasoning or Google the subject. I also purchased magnetized letters for $1 at the 99 cent store and my 2 year old loves them. I put his name at the top of the white board.
