I would buy this again!
I read a few reviews that claim that this product has been changed to the point that it is cheap and flimsy. This is my first time using this, and it is very sturdy and does not move after adjusting and tightening all the required bolts. I would suggest that you evaluate the desk you are placing this on, as the surface area and type is crucial when attaching this to any desk. I would buy this again if needed. My monitors have retained their position perfectly! I am using (2) LG Electronics UM57 25UM57 25-Inch Screen LED-lit Monitors.

Great for 2 27" Acer Monitors
This item is exactly as described. Holds my 2 27 inch monitors perfectly. I have a small desk so this gives me so much more room to move around. It was very easy to set up and took about 15 minutes. The provided monitor screws are great. They make it really easy to screw in rather then having to use a screw driver for all the screws.

Excellent Monitor Stand - This is the one you are looking for.
This thing is solid. I did not have the experience that some of other reviewers did as far as stability is concerned. This monitor stand Rocks!! It exceeded my expectorations especially for the price point. I got two HP Z22n monitors mounted and had no problems putting it together. The instructions are very clear and the mount comes like 50% assembled. The shipping was excellent, double packing, no damaged or missing parts. The box comes with almost all of the tools need except for a 1/4 nut driver. Currently I have the stand clamped to the desk, I am going to try this out for a while before I start drilling into the desk. As a personal choice I used zip ties and Velcro straps for my cable management, not that there was anything wrong with what was provided I know I have a lot of cables coming out these monitors. I am using all 3 input types plus power 8 cables total coming out the back. but if you look at the desk you could not tell. What you can see from my picture is that I have one cable that is hanging out, this is a 3 ft. cable that I had ordered, I'll need to replace that with a regular 6ft. If you have short cables coming from the monitors you might want to consider replacing them when you start tying the cables the extra slack gets taken up.The stand has a lot of tension points, so once you get everything the way you like it take some time to tighten everything up to about 90 to 95% tension, tight enough so it doesn't move on it's own but still flexible. Once you sit at your desk for a while you'll find your self adjusting to the perfect fit and this thing can do that. What is amazing is how much desk space I got back, it's as if I had a floating shelf for the monitors. If this starts to fail I'll be sure to update this post, but so far this is an awesome buy.

Excellent quality and design; low price is an added bonus.
I am using the VIVO stand on my home office desk, an IKEA Bekant sit-stand desk with a 1.6 cm thick top. My work got fancy $150 monitor stands and I decided to try one at home as well. I didn't want to spend a bundle so I got this basic one mostly due to the price. I was surprised to find that this one keeps pace with the fancier ones used at work for the most part. Like the fancy one, it has easy-to-follow instructions and moves smoothly when you reposition the monitors. The fancy ones were easier to reposition vertically; with the VIVO you will probably want to remove the monitors before attempting this. However, the designers anticipated this and made removing the monitors easy: all you have to do is remove the security nut and then lift the monitor+backplate off the VIVO stand. Like the fancier stands, the VIVO came with simple backplate screws that you can use without a screwdriver. You will still need to use hex keys for other parts of the stand (they are included). The VIVO also has some advantages over the "fancier" monitor stands. 1. The length of the arms is such that my monitors can be side by side without having the "elbows" of the arms pushed far back. This means I am able to keep my desk right up against the wall, instead of having to leave a gap between the desk and the wall. 2. The C-clamp desk mount grips my desk more firmly than the fancy monitor stand. There's no wobble and the anti-slip padding means the clamp won't damage the top of my wooden desk. VIVO also includes a mount-plate for use with a hole in your desk, which seems to be just as secure. 3. The black pole and arms are less showy than my work monitor stand. While this initially seemed like a disadvantage, I actually prefer it now because it doesn't distract me from the monitors and my work. It's the same reason why I wouldn't put a shiny sculpture or elegant picture right behind my monitors. 4. Unlike my work monitor stand, the external cable hooks are much easier to use on the VIVO. While the VIVO does not hide my cables, it does keep them organized and close to the stand's arms and pole.

Simple, Reliable Monitor Arm Set. A Great Value. Highly Recommend.
Easily/quickly installed. Adjusts easily. Durably built. This set of monitor arms is a great value. For one desk I used the cord hole that was cut into the desk. The device fits well in that hole. For another I attached it to the back of the desk. Both options were easy to install and holds the monitors reliably. I don't need all of the many adjustments of more expensive monitor arms. This arm set is well-built and well thought through for features. I like the clips used for attaching the HDMI and Power cords connecting to the monitor. It does require the provided Allen wrenches to properly tighten the adjustment joints. A simple and useful holder for them is included so the sit easily on the vertical arm. This keeps them handy, yet out of the way. A simple, thoughtful and useful feature. I have purchased much more expensive monitor arms with gas pneumatic pistons and other more advanced features. In the end, one just needs reliable arms that stay in place and adjust easily. One does not typically adjust the monitor many times a day. This arm fits the bill wonderfully.

Very poor quality control
Very poor quality control. I bought this item about a week ago and am now going to put it together. I am doing the desk clamp install when I realize the clamp has threads for the screws BUT THE CLAMP BRACE DOES NOT! Bigger screws will not help and shouldn't even be required. I shouldn't have to jury rig this item. Again, my problem is the clamp brace doesn't have threads to mate the clamp brace and the clamp together. An email was sent just before this review. I will update with fix once I hear from VIVO or receive a refund from them...which will be my next course of action. My original review is above. I figured out the REAL problem wasn't the design or the parts but the instructions. When doing the desk clamp install, the instructions show the 2 screws being installed from the back. The have to be installed from the other side. The screws go through the clamp brace first then to the clamp which is threaded. Not the other way around as per the instructions. After building my space, the dual monitor mount is fantastic. Highly recommended. I must've had a bad day but it's all good now.

More stable than setting a monitor on a stand
I have added the monitor stand to my stand up desk. At first, I used the 4” clamp and I liked that I was able to come up with a way to test this out. With the 4” clamp, the Height-Adjustable Standing Desk - VARIDESK Pro Plus 36 - Black could not go down all of the way, but I was ok with that. This weekend I drilled a hole in the top portion of the desk and attached the mount using the 4” grommet. Now the stand up desk is fully adjustable. When I ordered the mount, I didn’t realize that the 4” grommet would work for passing it through a desk with a hole in it. I think that is helpful feature for those of you that have a desk where you cannot clamp and don’t want to drill a hole. The monitor mount is more stable than setting a monitor on top of a stand. One of my old monitors did not have the VESA mount, so I left it on the stand. The old monitor would wobble and the new monitor would barely move. I really like that it is fully adjustable! I have two 24” monitors on it. I have offset the monitor mount to fit my desk configuration. It has allowed me to have the left monitor arm fully extended and then the right one it adjusted to be next to it. The included wrenches allow me to adjust the tension of the arms. I will try to add pictures with the new monitors on it. [Update - Added final photos] *** Please rate my review as "Helpful" if it helped you because it helps me too! My opinions are solely mine and are NOT influenced by anything other than the QUALITY and PERFORMANCE of this particular product. Thanks! ***

VIVO Dual Monitor Mount Review - Great Mount
Overview: This dual monitor mount by VIVO is pretty study and well built. It is made of heavy study steel tubing with Allen key pivot joints and plastic cable routing clips. It mounted onto my desk very well and is rock solid. The instructions are also well written, have visual examples, and are easy to understand. All the tools needed for installing are included (3 Allen keys and a wrench if using the alternative mounting method). Assembly Time: The assembly time took around 30 minutes to unpackage, assemble, install, mount monitors, and adjust. The most time consuming part for me was adjusting the monitors to the perfect height (with the top of the monitors about 3" above eyelevel). Ease Of Use: The stand can be adjusted fairly easily. I found the best way to adjust the vertical position of the arms was to 1. remove the monitors (using the VESA quick release plates), 2. adjust the arms up or down (loosening and tightening the rear securing Allen bolt), 3. place the monitors back on the stand. I would not advise adjusting the arms with the monitors on the stand unless a friend can hold them up for you as they add considerable weight and unwieldiness. Pros: - Well built and secure with the desk clamp mount - The clamp is also padded with foam to protect the desk top - Adjustable - Allows for memeing, redditing, and watching cat videos at correct monitor height level - Great addition for any desk (I should have bought one of these years ago!) Cons: - Harder to adjust by yourself without taking monitors of off the stand (they are easy to remove thanks to the VESA plates) - You'll waste time by looking at how awesome your desk is now - Nothing else I can think of Final Rating: I would recommend this mount to a friend and would certainly buy it again.

Great sturdy stand, totally adjustable
Stand was easy to put together and clamp onto my desk. It's very sturdy holding my two 22" Acer monitors. Had less than 2 1/2 inches of desk overhang to work with for the clamp and it was more than enough (see pic). Once put together, one of my monitors seemed a bit lower than the other, so I put two washers on top of the screw where the monitor slides onto the stand and problem was solved (see pic). I wanted my monitors pushed more to the left instead of being centered, so I had to do some adjusting to all of the joints, but since each and every joint on the arms is adjustable, I was able to achieve the exact placement I wanted. (had to loosen them all a bit to get them to adjust into just the right spot, then tightened them again). The only thing I wish was different is because of the way I want my monitors set up (off-center and pushed back toward the back of my desk), the one arm sticks out a bit in back and when I push my desk back toward the wall as far as it will go, I have about a 4 inch gap, due to the monitor arm hitting the wall (see pic). Not a big deal, I still love the monitor set-up, the gap just means that there is one more edge of the desk that my cat can push stuff off of! Overall, this stand enables an exact monitor set up for a super-cheap cost.

Shutup and Take my Money
Surprised to have paid so little for such a sturdy mount. It took less than 15 minutes and zero issues to set up my two 24-inch Asus monitors. I took off the standard desk stands off my monitors, attached them to the VESA plates. Mounted the stand pole on my desk. Attached the arms to the stand pole. Attached the monitors to the arms via VESA plate. Organized my cables. Done. I now have a lot more room on my desk and I can switch from landscape to portrait in seconds. And it looks very clean, especially the black finish on the metal. I'll put this bluntly, anyone that complains about the stands falling, monitors misaligned, or VESA mounts "moving around on their own" is simply suffering from a user error. As advertised, every joint is adjustable. To address everyone having issues. - Misaligned monitors are adjusted via the outmost joint on the arms. - Monitors moving around on their own, again, grab an Allen key(which they ship with) and tighten where needed. - Ikea has decent furniture at low prices, but I wouldn't recommend mounting your precious monitors on a cheap desk. - And lastly, after buying anything, always examine the parts. Make sure you have all the parts. If a small part is damaged, contact the seller and let them know. S*** happens. Otherwise, if you have all the parts and still manage to mess up or damage your hardware then you just suck at following directions. If you're on the fence about getting mounts, take the plunge. For the price and quality, this is a steal.
