Put them on my 31 year old Cub Cadet which I had just installed a snow plow. Never got stuck and we had about 8 inches of snow. The snow plow stores in my shop which has an epoxy floor Perfect

Wow! I had always had metal chains but had my driveway repaved last summer and I could see after plowing the first snow the chains were marking the surface. These worked even better than the chains. Now putting the mower into spring clean up these work great on loose dirt and inclines, no tire slip and gentle on the lawn. Couldn’t be more pleased! BTW get these with them- https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002KQ86EY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I was skeptical at first, but I'm a believer now! I have a mid seventies Ariens hydrostatic lawn tractor I just purchased this past fall. It has a 48 inch 2 stage blower out front that is pretty heavy so when I first used it this winter (2018-2019) with my new TerraGrips on I was originally pretty disappointed..no traction hardly at all on a long but pretty flat asphalt and decorative concrete drive way. Not the TerraGrips fault I found out. I put on a weight box on the back of the tractor with 200 pounds of concrete patio blocks in it, (it already had wheel weights on) Man oh Man what a difference!! I now have a snow moving machine. If I manage my wheel speed with the hydro I virtually do not spin at all and if I give it alittle extra and do spin the wheels--No scatches on the asphalt or decorative concrete! Very satisfied. We had a very snowy February and I used the blower a lot, looks like the straps on the TerraGrip are going to last me many years..no sign of wear at all yet. Oh yeah, they were a snap to put on also, just like installing chains, raise up the wheels and strap them on. I used a couple of rubber straps on the outside of the wheels just to help keep them tight and in place. Good product.

Very pleased! I had read the reviews and decided to give them a try. I have been using chains for years but wearing out cross links regularly, marking up my pavement, tearing up my lawn and enduring a rough ride. These seem like the cross links will last longer than the chains, they don't mark up my pavement or tear up my lawn and they give you a smoother ride. I live in new england and i put them on before snow and used them during fall yard work. I am glad i put them in while it was warm, the rubber cross links flex easier to make fitting and installation easier. Now they are still on the tractor with my snowblower. I have a heavy tractor, a John Deere 425 it weighs over 800 pounds dry with no weights or attachments i have a 48 inch blower (maybe 250 pounds with the mount) on the front and just over 300 pounds of wheel weights and iron on the back. I installed them as tight as I could and tensioned them with a rubber bungee cord. They have slipped a little on the wheel but settled into a position they were happy in and they make the tractor go! Even with all the weight i am moving I occasionally spin my wheels and they are holding up well! I may never go back to chains!

They saved my brand new driveway. The old chains on my John Deere garden tractor were ripping up the asphalt, and I was afraid of what they would do to the new pavement. The TerraGrips solved the problem. I also found a neat way to install them, which don't need any bungees to keep out the slack: Let a lot of air out of the tires, then install the TerraGrips so that they are snug. Then, fill up the tires again. Unlike my old chains, these have not come off once.

I had a set of metal chains, but they were scuffing up my driveway pretty severely. I picked up a set of TerraGrips thinking they would work, but not as good as my metal chains. I was presently surprised to find not only do they work fantastic, but they are much better than the metal chains I had previously. Barely any slip, as my metal chains would spin, and zero metal contact with my paved driveway. Also, easy installation. Just jack up the rear axle and feed these on. Make them as tight as possible by using the hooks to tension the chains link by link until they're snug. I run these on an Ingersoll 3014 tractor, with attached snowblower. Just used them 2/5/2014 in a 1 foot storm in NH, and they worked perfectly. Definitely recommend.

A bit of trouble to get on and straight and tight , But they work GREAT. We just finished with 8 snow days in a 9 days stretch and I had to push the show banks back to accommodate the extra. These "chains" provided the extra grip. Hint: jack the tractor up and lower the tire pressure a lot. Then get the chains on and straight and air up the tires.

Had these for a while and have not replaced my chains yet. Will incorporate these in next winter season. They look nice and heavy duty.

Very nice. I used them last winter when we had over 7' of snow. Also used them in the fall when pulling a stump out of the ground to get extra traction in dirt. They are quiet when you drive down the asphalt and do not mark. I would never by regular chains after using these.

I purchased these TerraGrips on the hopes that they would be as good as the metal tire chains that I have for my tractor. I have a very long asphalt driveway and was trying to prevent the surface damage that metal chains cause. These rubber chains have exceeded my expectations in their performance and ease of installation. After 5 snow storms I can now recommend these without hesitation. One concern I had prior to purchase was the durability of the rubber traction straps. Durability has proven to be excellent so now I can highly recommend.
