happy heat

Worked like a charm. So glad to have heat in our small bathroom again. My husband is handy, but I don't think it is difficult to install. Only took him a few minutes. Just installed a few days ago, but so far so good. BTW, I turned the heater on and forgot to turn it off. Hours and hours later, fan was blowing without heat. My fault, original element worked fine until I made the mistake.

This item arrived on time and was packaged securely. It was easy to install. It was much cheaper to replace this heating element instead of buying an entire new heater/exhaust fan unit.

Clean your Nutone vent/heater before starting heater season

This is my second element replacement for same Nutone ceiling fan/light/nightlight/heater. Initial quality and speed of shipping from Amazon is wonderful. For those of you doing the same replacement, remember to open up your fan unit and remove the collected dust before starting up the heater for s new season. The design of the Nutone unit allows vent air flow to flow backwards through the heater unit when it is not running and the resultant accumulation of dust in the heater unit will slow it's airflow and overheat the heating element causing failure

Save me a lot of money over buying a whole new unit. Installation was a breeze.

DON'T PURCHASE THIS UNIT

Needed to buy this heater unit as the original one would no longer work. It was only 7 months old and I was disappointed that this part of the unit would not function after ONLY 7 months. The company would not stand behind the warranty (which is 3 yrs) of the original heater element and did nothing to replace it. I will NOT purchase another bathroom heater from this company for that reason.
