First of all, the product sent was an Arkon mount (which I am happy with). As others have stated, the tabs stick out rather far but I do not see how it inhibits use of the ipad. Another thing to note is that, while the first photo of this product shows an iPad mini mounted with the clamps on the horizontal, it actually does not work that way (even with the smaller set of tabs). You have to mount it with the tabs on the vertical (then rotate the mount however you wish). Holds very steady and the tabs can be adjusted to wherever you desire them to be gripping the tablet. This was particularly nice when trying to make cable connections accessible. Thus far I am very happy with my purchase.

No issues with the product itself, it is pretty sturdy, handles road vibrations pretty well and holds the tablet securely. Haven't had an issues with the product itself falling out or anything like that. It comes with an extra (optional) bracket for mountin the arm onto the car exterior for extra support however that kinda of car damage is not what I was looking for. I had to do some extra cutting and tweaking to the base of my car seat because my car seat bolts are not exposed. However once I was able to get the bolts exposed installation went by easy and a month or two into use no issues. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent product, and MobileCityOnline had everything shipped and processed correctly. All necessary parts and hardware were included as advertised. I bought this stand to use in a 2015 Chevy Express work van. My company supplies iPads for work order management while in the field, and I wanted something to mount and secure mine within view and reach. I mounted the base to my metal center console, and the only thing that I added were some washers to relieve pressure. Two weeks so far and it's holding very well. The arm is very rigid, but movable without much issue and makes it very easy to adjust the viewing angle. It will not move out of place unless you want it to. There is vibration when moving, but that's to be expected. At first I thought the clasps weren't going to be snug enough, and my tablet would go flying, but that has not been an issue at all. My iPad is a 4th gen in a heavy duty Griffin case and it fits very well. There's over an inch of expansion left in the clasps, so I expect this mount could accommodate any case.

Sturdy mount for my full size iPad 3 (Retina display). It wiggles a bit but it doesn't seem loose, just a by product of being a goose neck. Easy to install, less than three minutes using the passenger side seat bolt. I can slip the clamp onto my iPad, snap it onto the goose neck, then snap it off when I'm done and remove the clamp with no hassles.

Great car mount for my husband's iPad. We used it on a cross country trip and the iPad served well as out gps system, radio, and grub locator. The installation was fast and simple [according to hubby who is technically inclined] and we never dropped the iPad nor had it ever slipped out. The only comment I will add is that we has an otter box protective case on my husbands iPad which made it slightly bulky and we had to remove the iPad from its case so it would fit. Despite having no protective case, the iPad never slipped out or fell. So this item get a nice big thumbs up from us.

While these state car mount, we have used these in our large truck fleet as DOT requires driver log book tablets to be permanently mounted. The all metal design is perfect for the harsh environment they are used in. It took all of 10 minutes to mount each one using the seat bolt mounting flange - I would guess that 5 of those minutes were used in freeing them from their packaging. Nothing could have been easier. So far the drivers think their great and we have had no complaints regarding vibration and unintended movement during travel. Will purchase more now that we are satisfied with the quality.

Works great I used it to mount a tablet in my semi. I did modify the bracket a bit to mount it the way I wanted to. Works well though. Trucks are rough riding and it holds tablet in place.

Love this product. Fits iPad Air great. Nice tight fit. Very adjustable position. Arm is extremely stiff so it stays put. Others have wrote that the plastic breaks, that holds the tablet, when trying to make agjustments. It was pretty easy to figure out just to use 2 hands and make adjustments at the arm it self. Once adjusted where you like it no need to touch again, like the mirrors on your car. I made a Bracket for back seat mounting to use the iPad like a backseat entertainment.

I use a 10" asus transformer tablet for work and wanted a way to mount it without costing a fortune. This mount works great. It was easy to bolt down and holds the tablet securely even with the heavy off-roading I do for work. As others have said it can be a bit too wobbly sometimes but it's really not that bad. I would have liked to see it a couple inches taller so it sits higher in my 2014 2500HD but the current height is manageable.

If you drive a lot for work, especially if you drive rideshare, this is the mount for you! It's the perfect height, and bolts on the front left passenger seat bolt. The post is flexible, but very, very strong. It's actually made out of a solid piece of soft metal. It's hard to get the exact right position for optimum use (as it should be), but once it's there, it's not going to bounce or move around at all. Speedbumps, pot holes, or rough country dirt roads do not budge this thing one bit. I use it for either my iPad gen 4, or my iPhone 6s Plus and they don't don't move at all in the holder. It's also very easy to take your device in or out. One side of the bracket is stationary, and the other side is a strong spring, so your device comes in or out with one smooth motion. If you're concerned about the mount being too invasive, don't be. I have mine in a Mazda 6, and it's not even in the way. The arm has such a range of motion that you can fit it really anywhere.
