It works really well, not very expensive
Installed this on my Honda EU2000is and it works perfectly. Drilled a small hole in the access panel to the spark plug. Just wrap the cord around the spark plug wire as shown in the instructions, ran the cord through the hole in the access panel, and attached it to the outside of the access panel. Took all of five minutes to install. Just ordered another one for a Champion generator. Great for knowing when you need to service your equipment.

Easy to install timer
Hooked it to my Honda EU2000 generator . Just coil the wire around the spark plug wire connection and thats it.... thru induction it knows the engine is running and starts the clock you will see the hour glass symbol flash.... every 6 minutes equal .1 on the clock . I used double sided mounting tape (not included) to mount it on the generator. Great for the price !

Work good
I have one on both of my lawn mowers just to keep track of hours. Don't know how long the batteries last but I've had one for two years so far. Pretty easy to install. Only complaint is that there is no reset button but it's not a big deal.

Appears better than Docooler tach/hour meter
The Docooler tach/hour meter I purchased for my new Honda EU 2000i generator worked about 30 seconds and died. I didn't really need a tach for the generator, so I ordered this hour meter. It appears to be better built externally than the tach/ hour meter. The case is sturdier, and nicely colored. The packaging is a blister pack, not a cheap little box, and there are good instructions on the back. It keeps a running hour total, in 1/10th's and this total can be seen after the engine is shut down. Hopefully this will be a reliable unit!

Provides valuable info on generator use
I put this on a small inverter generator, a Predator 2000 and it has helped tremendously. No longer have to use pen/paper to track number of hours used so that I do the routine maintenance on time. I plan on getting a couple more to use with lawn mower and power washer.

Works for scheduled generator maintenance.
Installed on 2200W generator. Came with #4 wood screws. I Used 4-40 machine screws and nuts with nylon insert. Came with paper (I think) twist ties. I used plastic tie wraps. Works I do not know how accurate the timer is or how long the battery lasts.

Work as advertised!
I purchased 5 of these to put on several generators, a weed trimmer and pressure washer. They seem to be keeping the correct time so far. Have had trouble with the pickup wire getting loose and stopping the meter.

Awesome - works great.
Using this on my Troy Bilt Flex system to monitor the amount of time on the engine for routine maintenance. Easy to install... Considering getting more for other motors around the garage. Small enough to use on small equipment like Weed Whackers or Leaf Blowers.

Great product
The second one I’ve purchased and install. 1st one I installed on my boat motor to track PM maintenance. The last one is for my generator to track engine hours for oil change to keep it warranty compliant. They work very well and mount as in my case, multiple ways.
