Use to keep comforter in duvet cover.
Not a conventional use for these tarp clips but I read other reviews and figured if they can withstand hurricane winds, then they can handle me asleep. I bought the clips to keep my down comforter from clumping up/moving around inside my duvet cover. The clips work great. So clip your tarps or comforter with ease! They will hold. Awesome product. :)

You're going to be surprised...
These little things are robust! I bring these when camping for impromptu shelter building, tarp hanging, pinning footprints just inside the dimensions of tents, I've made hanging shelves and even water catchments using these, some paracord, and a tarp. These can be clipped anywhere on a tarp to provide an anchor point with equivalent strength to having a grommet in a tarp, with the added advantage of being able to put that anchor point wherever you want.

Perfect for your car cover needs
I needed a solution for the lightweight BMW car cover for my 325i. Trade winds is what makes the Hawaiian Islands a cool and comfortable paradise. Not so much for any car cover. These adjustable clips will not damage your car cover. They've held on through gusts of 50mph! I use these awesome clips with these adjustable bungee cords: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M18676J/ Highly recommended for any car cover, any make/model, in any geographical location. Enjoy!

These are a must have for any outdoorsman.
These things come in super handy all the time. When tapping stuff off and you can get the right angle with the grommet.. clamp this baby on and use it instead. Much better than the other type where you slide up the plastic piece to pinch the jaws shut. Can be used for chip clips in a pinch too. lol You can fold tarps and pinch them together, or use them to tie off too. Use your imagination but the tightening type work great for all kinds of stuff. If you use tarps I would grab yourself a bunch of these. I keep them in a bag with my ratchet straps and bungees and can’t tell you how many times I’ve reached for these.

Grabs great, works great, good quality.
Worked great. I used it to hold a Ultimate Survival Technologies 1.0 BASE Tube Tarp in place, as well as secure some clothes underneath the tarp. Normally I only used 2 of the clips, so I was somewhat at a loss for what to do with the other two clips. I didn't use them in this way, but one of the ways to set up a tube tent is to tie one end together so that you don't have one end open. I used the on-tent straps and it didn't quite seal the end. 3 of these clips (one at the midpoint of each side of a triangle formed by the existing loops) would have worked great with that tent to do it, with the last clip holding the tarp in place at the opening at the other end would have done the trick nicely. They never slipped, they were reliable, and they worked great. Only complaint - a bit on the bulky side, but the bulk is nice for spreading the load on the tarp... the last thing you want to have is for it to tear. Would use again, is now a permanent fixture in the camping gear for 2 of my tents (car camping and bike camping).

I've tried a couple of different brands of clips and think these work the best so far
I purchased the Tekton 6268 Tarp Clips to use in place of making a button to hold the sides of the rainfly out on my tent and allow much more ventilation in the warmer months. I've tried a couple of different brands of clips and think these work the best so far. To begin with, I cut a short section of paracord about 3" long and knotted both ends. There is a channel in the jaws of the clip for the paracord to clamp into and if you fold the rain fly or a tarp over the cord it will hold much better in the clip. I placed a small piece of Gorilla Tape on the outside center of the fly along it's sides to reinforce the nylon where the clamp will attach. Place the 3" long section of paracord on the underside of the fly and fold the fly under so you aren't creating a water trap, then attach the tarp clip. (The photo shows the paracord on the outside of the fly before it's clamped. I did this so you can see where to position it but the paracord goes on the inside of the fly at that spot.) Once the tarp clip is attached, just stake the short guyline to the ground and you're all set. Repeat on the other side(s) and you've improved the ventilation greatly. As you can see from the low angle photo, the bathtub floor extends high enough up the side of my tent that I have not experienced any splashing up into the tent from rain. The clips have a simple screw you turn by hand to close and open the jaws. This allows you to remove the clips for storage or winter camping when you don't need them and the knots on the end of the paracord prevents it from sliding out of the clip when they aren't in use. I've used these clips about 10 times so far, including during a few thunderstorms and my rainfly shows no wear and tear from where I'm clamping them. I'm very pleased with these clips ,,and would have no problem recommending them to anyone I know personally.

Awesome If Installed A Certain Way
INSTALLATION TIP: This is the fourth type of these clips I have used and these are BY FAR the best I have used. However, the only way they finally worked was when I installed them I folded the tarp and put small piece of wooden dowel inside the fold and put the clip over the fold and then tightened. I used to have to re-secure my tarp every few weeks but since I got these and installed them with the wooden dowels I have not had to touch them and it's been a couple of months.

Talk about a specific audience....
I mean really.. How many people are in the market for a tarp clip? Maybe more than I realize.. Personally, I needed something to supplement holding a very heavy duty, fire rated tarp over top a pig roaster. I am not sure many people will be using these for this specific instance, but perhaps you are camping, or are covering a hole in roof of your double wide. In the grand scheme of things, I think the tarp would rip before these things give way. I am not sure about the UV protection if they were outside for extended periods of time. For strength however, I think these will do fine. Get out there folks and tie a tarp down! and yes, the pig was terrific, and my cooker and all participants were dry.

TEKTON 6268 Tarp Clips
This style of tarp clip are the best I have found. Don't waste your $ on the ones that look like these but have the slider for locking. They cannot be gotten as tight as these. The stupid 2 piece ones with the disk you put on one side of the tarp and then put a ring with a hook on the outside are a joke. If you need tarp clips that will hold tight even with a lot of wind or a stretched tight tarp, get this kind.

The best product Tekton makes
I have a few Tekton products, and they tend to be mid-range in both price and quality - which is why I only choose them for occasional use tools that don't need to be family heirlooms. That being said, these tarp clips are the BEST I have ever used. They stay put, hold on tight, and don't tear/fray the tarp. I recommend them without reservation. If you're curious, I bought them to make a rain flies for my brother and I. We were going camping for a few days, and planned to sleep in hammocks. Shopping around for a rain fly for a hammock, I was stunned by the prices. Instead of purchasing a fly I bought a tarp for each of us, para cord, a number of these tarp clips, and used tent stakes to pin the lines to the ground. It worked splendidly, and cost much less than half of what the rain flies would have.
