These do not set the usual way for a camper-shell application (i.e. closed position = handle is vertical, open position = handle is horizontal). That is not important to me -- so I am very pleased with them and they are working very well. The installation was not difficult (as long as you are comfortable using a the tools required for your application. I used a drill to remove the old rivets and a rivet tool to install the new -- all went smooth. My camper-shell has lift windows on both sides and on the back hatch -- so I installed these on all three openings. All three came keyed the same.

Exact replacement of original. Wish it came with a new gasket. Double check which direction your original turns to open. Made to turn clockwise or counter-clockwise to open. The first answered question listed was incorrect causing me to order the wrong one. It works the same, just handle is vertical when latched instead of horizontal.

I might have had to find my own screws in order to make this works, but for the price this handle is hard to beat. Had an A.R.E. Topper with missing key and this made it possible to secure things while traveling out of town.

I have no negative issues with this product, retrofit into my older cap's locking mechanism and performs as expected!

Got this in a pinch to replace an old Leer truck cap handle and it did the job just fine on our cross country road trip.

Very happy, I installed into an old used truck cap purchased cheap with broken handle and this both fits and works perfectly.

East to install and keyed the same.

Did the job-easy fit and hook up

This lock was perfect I just needed one and this was it!

Thank you! But I got one similar and the key of the new one was open my oldest one and that is the huge problem, because if other person have the same they can open the others, they should fix it.
